Tom Buchanan is President and Chief Executive Officer of Provident Energy Trust and also a member of the board of directors. In 1993, Tom established Founders Energy, a junior independent oil and gas company that was converted into Provident Energy Trust in 2001. At Founders, Tom held the positions of chief financial officer and executive vice president, as well as president and chief executive officer.
Tom is a director of Athabasca Oilsands Corp. and Churchill Energy Inc. He is also the chairman of Renfrew Educational Services, a not-for-profit educational organization for children with special needs and those who are typically developing, and the Edge School, an educational facility that allows young people to pursue academic excellence while striving to reach their full athletic potential. He has also coached minor hockey for the Crowchild Hockey Association.
Born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Tom grew up in Calgary. He received his bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary and later became a chartered accountant. Tom and his family reside in Calgary, Alberta.
Cam Vouri is President of the Canadian Oil & Gas Production business unit. A member of the senior leadership team, Cam is responsible for Provident's engineering, production operations, geological/geophysical, and land functions. Cam joined Founders Energy in 2000 as heavy oil team leader. He was appointed senior manager of production and engineering in 2001, the same year Founders Energy converted into Provident. Cam was named vice president in 2002 and and president of the business unit in 2005. Cam has over 20 years experience in the exploitation, operations, acquisitions and divestitures of oil and natural gas properties in Canada and the United States. Prior to Provident, he was manager of production and engineering for Koch Petroleum Canada from 1999 to 2000. Cam has held positions of increasing responsibility from 1982 onward, working as a petroleum engineer, business leader and manager of business development at Koch Petroleum Canada, Delta-P Test Corporation and Unocal Canada. Cam is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Canadian Heavy Oil Association, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA). Born and raised in Calgary, Cam graduated with honors from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and was elected to the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society. He also received a Diploma in Petroleum Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, graduating with honors. Cam and his family reside in Calgary.
Murray Buchanan is co-president, midstream business unit and a member of Provident Energy's (Provident) senior leadership team. Murray is responsible for commercial activities associated with Provident's midstream services business unit including natural gas liquids fractionation, storage, processing, marketing and transportation services. Murray joined Provident in 2005 following Provident's acquisition of the Empress midstream assets.
Murray has over 25 years of NGL marketing and petroleum industry experience and has been president of Kinetic Resources for eight years.
Murray received his masters of business administration from Queen's University, as well as an honours bachelor of administration degree from Queen's University.
Murray is the founding member of the Airdrie Nose Creek Park Association and is also the president of the Airdrie Minor Hockey Association. He actively volunteers in the community as a coach for hockey, soccer and lacrosse teams. Murray and his family reside in Airdrie, Alberta.

Dan O'Byrne is executive vice president, operations, and chief operating officer of Provident Energy Trust. He is responsible for Provident's oil & gas production and midstream operations.
Dan has over 25 years of diverse experience in the international and North American oil industry, and has participated in major projects in Canada, the United Kingdom (North Sea), the Middle East, West Africa, and other countries. His positions have included: division vice president, technical services, for Nexen Inc. (2001 to 2005); vice president, technical services, for Canadian Occidental / Wascana Energy Inc. (1998 to 2001); vice president, operations – Yemen, for Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd. (1997 to 1998); as well as numerous other management positions with Canadian Occidental Petroleum Ltd.
He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, and is one of the Society of Petroleum Engineers' published authors.
Born in Edmonton, Dan grew up in Calgary. He received his bachelor of science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Alberta, and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario. Dan and his family reside in Calgary, Alberta.

Mark Walker is senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer (CFO) of Provident Energy Trust. A member of Provident's senior leadership team, Mark is responsible for all finance, financial reporting, treasury, and compliance activities. Prior to the appointment to his current position, Mark served as controller and CFO from 1997 to 2002. Mark joined Provident's predecessor Founders Energy in 1996 as controller. Founders Energy converted to Provident in 2001.
Mark has over 15 years of experience in petroleum finance and accounting. Prior to joining Founders Energy, Mark was team lead of financial reporting for Sceptre Resources, first joining the company in 1990. From 1988 to 1990, Mark was a revenue accountant with Dome Petroleum. Before Dome, Mark was an accountant with Hudson & Company from 1985 to 1988.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Mark received his bachelor of commerce in Accounting from the University of Calgary and later received his Certified Management Accountant designation. Mark and his family reside in Calgary.
David Holm is executive vice president, finance and strategy, of Provident Energy Trust. He is responsible for overseeing Provident's corporate functions, including finance, strategy, planning, business development, risk management, and communications.
David has spent the last six years in investment banking, most recently as a Managing Director, North American Energy, with TD Securities. He has advised on numerous major transactions in the oil and gas industry, including upstream oilsands and midstream activity. Prior to his move into investment banking, Mr. Holm practiced transactional and securities law for 15 years, including serving as a partner with Macleod Dixon.
He has served as corporate secretary for two public corporations and as a director for two large private energy companies. He was seconded to the Alberta Securities Commission and has also served as Chairman of the Securities Section of the Canadian Bar Association.
A native Albertan, David received his bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and his bachelor of law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1985. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1986. David and his family reside in Calgary, Alberta.

Gary Kline is senior vice president of commercial development and risk management and a member of the senior leadership team. Gary has executive responsibility for Provident's integrated risk management program. He is also responsible for the management and coordination of certain commercial development initiatives including oil and gas marketing and hedging. He joined Provident in 2003.
Gary has over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Before joining Provident, Gary was president of GRK Energy Consulting from 1998 to 2003. Gary has held a number of senior management positions including managing director of marketing and business development for Reliant Energy Canada from 1998 to 2002, vice president for natural gas and electricity at U.S. Generating Canada from 1996 to 1998, and manager of gas marketing at CanStates Gas Marketing from 1986 to 1996 Gary began his energy industry career as a regulatory analyst at TransCanada Pipelines in 1982.
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Gary received his bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Calgary. He later received his Canadian Securities Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute. Gary and his family reside in Calgary.
