Clark Manning has been an executive director of Prudential since January
2002. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Jackson National
Life. He was previously Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President and
Chief Actuary of Jackson National Life, which he joined in 1995. Prior to
that, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary for SunAmerica Inc,
and prior to that Consulting Actuary at Milliman & Robertson Inc. Clark
has more than 25 years' experience in the life insurance industry, and
holds both a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and an MBA from the
University of Texas. He also holds professional designations of Fellow of
the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Member of the American Academy
of Actuaries (MAAA).

Mr. Barry Stowe is the Chief Executive of Prudential Corporation Asia. He is responsible for an extensive network of over 30 life insurance and fund management operations spanning 12 diverse markets. Prior to joining Prudential, Mr. Barry was President of Accident & Health Worldwide for AIG Life Companies, overseeing more than 100 operations across six continents. Mr. Barry was also pivotal in building the Accident & Health unit into one of AIG's most profitable businesses, accounting for over 30% of AIG Life Companies' total earnings by 2005. Mr. Barry has considerable experience in the Asian market, having spent three years as the Regional Head for AIG Accident & Health in Southeast Asia before his appointment to the Hong Kong-based role of President, Accident & Health Worldwide. In addition to his eleven years with AIG, Mr. Barry's extensive career in the insurance industry includes his tenure as President & CEO of Nisus, a subsidiary of the Pan American Life Insurance Company, and several leadership positions at Willis Corroon, a global risk management and insurance brokerage based in the U.S.

Michael McLintock has been an executive director of Prudential since September 2000. He is also Chief Executive of M&G, a position he held at the time of M&G's acquisition by Prudential in 1999. Michael joined M&G in 1992. He previously also served on the board of Close Brothers Group plc as a non-executive director (2001-2008). Nick Prettejohn has been an executive director of Prudential and Chief

(having previously been Deputy Chairman), and a board member of the
Royal Opera House. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Lloyd's of
London from 1999 until 2005. Nick joined the Corporation of Lloyd's in
1995 as Head of Strategy, and played a key role in the Reconstruction
and Renewal process, which reorganised Lloyd's after the losses of the
late 1980s and early 1990s. Following the successful completion of the
reorganisation in 1996, he became Managing Director of Lloyd's Business
Development Unit and in 1998, he also assumed responsibility for Lloyd's
North America business unit. Prior to his appointment to Lloyd's, Nick was
responsible for corporate strategy at National Freight Corporation plc, and
prior to that he was a partner at management consultants Bain and Co and
a director of private equity company Apax Partners.

Simon joined Prudential UK when he was appointed Chief Operations Officer in November 2007.
Before then, he was Chief Executive Officer at Hometrack Data Services - the housing intelligence group.
Simon has a strong history in consulting, sales, venture capital, IT and operations. Before Hometrack, he spent six years at Capital One Bank as Vice President of International Operations and CIO. He previously held senior roles with First Data Resource (the UK subsidiary of First Data Corporation, Europe's largest processor of credit, debit and charge cards); GMM Investors (a private equity fund in Boston USA); Trans National Group (specialising in affinity marketing of financial services) & Bain & Company.
Simon plays a pivotal role in helping further develop and deliver our strategy to become the leaders in retirement in the UK life and pensions market.
Married with two sons, Simon is a keen squash player, fly fisherman and skier. He also keeps bees.

Tidjane Thiam has been an executive director of Prudential and Chief Financial Officer since 25 March 2008, and will succeed Mark Tucker as Group Chief Executive with effect from 1 October 2009. He was previously Chief Executive Officer, Europe at Aviva, where he also held successively the positions of Group Strategy and Development Director and Managing Director, Aviva International. Prior to that, Tidjane was a partner with McKinsey & Company in France and one of the leaders of their Financial Institutions practice, focusing on insurance companies and banks. Earlier in his career, he spent a number of years in Africa where he was Chief Executive and then Chairman of the National Bureau for Technical Studies and Development in Cote d'Ivoire and a cabinet member as Minister of Planning and Development. He is a non-executive director of Arkema in France, a member of the Council of the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London and a sponsor of Opportunity International, a charity focusing on microfinance in developing countries.

Steven joined Prudential in July 2007 and leads the Corporate Solutions team. Corporate Solutions objective is to provide a range of innovative and profitable solutions to insurance companies and corporates.
Before joining Prudential, Steven was a Director at Lloyd's of London where he spent five years with responsibility for a variety of functions including strategy, business planning, change management, business process transformation and human resources. Steven began his financial services career with actuaries and consultants firm, Bacon & Woodrow, and also spent a number of years as an independent consultant working with clients such as J P Morgan, Royal and Sun Alliance, Equitas and Lloyd's of London.
Steven lives in Surrey and is married to Aduke. They have three children.

Jennifer Board was appointed HR Director - UK & Europe on 24 July 2006.
Jennifer was HR Director for Corporate Banking & Financial Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland from April 2002 - January 2006.
Jennifer's previous roles included CIBC World Markets where she was Global Head of HR based in New York from 1999 to 2002, and Head of UK, Europe & Asia from 1996 to 1999.
She has also held other senior HR roles at Morgan Stanley and Chase Manhattan Bank in both London and New York and has been a Non Executive Director on the School Teachers Review Body since February 2006.
Nikki is Group Taxation Director for Prudential plc, a UK based multinational retail financial services group with extensive operations in Asia and the USA (under the Jackson National Life brand). Nikki is responsible for ensuring that, in all of the territories in which it operates, the Group complies with the requirements of the tax laws and practices and endeavours to maintain good relationships with the Fiscal Authorities, recognising that tax planning opportunities may impact these relationships. Her particular focus in recent years has been on cross-border financing and corporate activities. Nikki joined Prudential in May 1999. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen and spent 10 years there, the last seven of which were spent in the corporate tax division as a senior manager specialising in international tax. She has also worked for 3 years with Mercantile & General Re (then owned by Prudential) as Group Tax Manager, and Liberty Re, responsible for assisting with all aspects of the start-up and then specialising in structured alternative risk transfer products.

Harvey McGrath has been an independent non-executive director of Prudential since 1 September 2008, and became Chairman and Chairman of the Nomination Committee on 1 January 2009. Harvey has a long and distinguished career in the international financial services industry. He started his career at Chase Manhattan Bank in London and New York. From 1980 to 2007 he worked for Man Group plc starting as Treasurer, then Finance Director, then President of Man Inc. in New York, before being appointed as Chief Executive of Man Group in London in 1990, and then Chairman in 2000. He left Man Group in 2007. Harvey is also Chairman of the London Development Agency, which works for the Mayor of London, coordinating economic development and regeneration across the capital, and Vice Chairman of the London Skills and Employment Board, which is tasked with developing a strategy for adult skills in London. He is the former Chairman of both London First and the East London Business Alliance, and a Member of the International Advisory Board of the School of Oriental and African Studies. Harvey is a trustee of a number of charities including New Philanthropy Capital, a research based charity which gives advice and guidance to donors and charities; the Royal Anniversary Trust which operates the Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education; ISS, which protects the rights and welfare of children and vulnerable adults across borders; icould, an online careers resource; and the Prince’s Teaching Institute, which promotes subject based professional development for teachers.

Ann Godbehere has been an independent non-executive director of Prudential since August 2007, and has been a member of the Audit Committee since October 2007. She began her career in 1976 with Sun Life of Canada, joining Mercantile & General Reinsurance Group in 1981, where she held a number of management roles rising to Senior Vice President and Controller for life and health and property/casualty businesses in North America in 1995. In 1996, Swiss Re acquired Mercantile & General Reinsurance Group, and Ann became Chief Financial Officer of Swiss Re Life & Health, North America. In 1997, she was made Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Re Life & Health, Canada. She moved to London as Chief Financial Officer of Swiss Re Life & Health Division in 1998 and joined the Property & Casualty Business Group, based out of Zurich, as Chief Financial Officer on its establishment in 2001. From 2003 until February 2007 Ann was Chief Financial Officer of the Swiss Re Group. Ann is also a non-executive director of Ariel Holdings Limited, Atrium Underwriting Group Limited and Atrium Underwriting Limited. In 2008 and until January 2009 Ann was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Northern Rock.
