As of December 31, 2008, PSB owned 73.7% of the common partnership units of PS Business Parks, L.P. (the Operating Partnership). The remaining common partnership units were owned by Public Storage (PS). PSB, as the sole general partner of the Operating Partnership, has full, exclusive and complete responsibility and discretion in managing and controlling the Operating Partnership. Unless otherwise indicated or unless the context requires otherwise, all references to the Company, we, us, our, and similar references mean PS Business Parks, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including the Operating Partnership.
