Michael F. Barry joined the Company in 1998. On May 13, 2009, Mr. Barry was elected as Chairman of the Board, in addition to his current position as Chief Executive Officer and President which he has held since October 2008. He first became a member of the Board in October 2008. Prior to this position, he was the Company’s Senior Vice President and Managing Director – North America, beginning January 2006. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of the steel and metalworking/coatings businesses throughout North America, including two subsidiaries, AC Products, Inc. and Epmar Corporation. Mr. Barry was named Senior Vice President and Global Industry Leader – Metalworking and Coatings in July 2005 with responsibility for the Company’s global metalworking and coatings businesses through December 2005. From January 2004 through June 2005, he held the position of Vice President and Global Industry Leader – Industrial Metalworking and Coatings and from 1998 through August 2004, he held the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Barry joined Quaker from Lyondell (formerly Arco Chemical) where he was Business Director for its Americas urethanes business and also held various finance and line management positions. In addition to graduating from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, he earned a Master's Degree with Distinction from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mark A. Featherstone was elected as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, effective April 9, 2007. Mr. Featherstone is responsible for the oversight and management of the Company’s Finance, Corporate Development, Internal Audit, IS, and Tax activities. He joined the Company in 2001 as Global Controller, and, since 2005 held the position of Vice President and Global Controller. Mr. Featherstone is a Certified Public Accountant with an MBA from Drexel University and an undergraduate degree from Penn State University.

Mark A. Harris joined the Company in 1996. Mr. Harris assumed his current position in January 2006 as the Company shifted its organization from a global business unit structure to a regional business unit structure. With this change, Mr. Harris is currently responsible for the Company's global strategy in its steel and metalworking businesses, global R&D, global key account management, global marketing, and other global processes. Mr. Harris was named Senior Vice President and Global Industry Leader Steel in July 2005 with responsibility for all aspects of the Company's steel and fluid power businesses and its operations in South America through December 2005. From January 2001 through June 2005, he held the position of Vice President and Global Industry Leader Steel and, prior to that, was Regional Industry Manager for the Steel/Fluid Power business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Jan F. Nieman joined the Company in 1985 and was elected to his current position in February 2005. Mr. Nieman is responsible for the Company’s business expansion in the Asia/Pacific region, including the development of the Company’s joint ventures in Australia, China, India and Japan. Prior to his current position, Mr. Nieman was Global Business Unit Manager for the indirect sales channel (Value Added Representatives) and the Company’s two-piece Can Division. In addition, during his career with the Company, he has held various positions within the R&D and marketing areas.

D. Jeffry Benoliel began his career with the Company in 1995. Mr. Benoliel assumed his current position on October 4, 2008, in addition to retaining his chief legal counsel responsibilities as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel, a position he has held since 2001. In his new role, he is responsible for managing and overseeing all legal matters and regulatory affairs for the Company's global operations, providing executive leadership for global strategic planning, running of global businesses, and global R&D. From 1995 through 2001, Mr. Benoliel was in charge of the Company’s global legal affairs and served as Secretary of the Company since 1998. He also serves as General Counsel to the Company's Board of Directors. Prior to 1995, Mr. Benoliel was a partner at Fox, Rothschild, O'Brien & Frankel, LLP, a major law firm in Philadelphia, handling corporate transactions including commercial lending, securities, and general corporate matters.

Jose Luiz Bregolato joined the Company in 1993. Mr. Bregolato is responsible for the Company's business expansion in South America, including the development of the Company's acquisitions in Argentina and Brazil in recent years. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bregolato spent 15 years in the Chemical Division of Akzo Nobel in Brazil where he held various management positions including Commercial and Finance Director.

Wilbert Platzer joined the Company in 1995. Mr. Platzer assumed his current position in January 2006 as the Company shifted its organization from a global business unit structure to a regional business unit structure. With this change, Mr. Platzer is currently responsible for all aspects of the steel and metalworking businesses throughout Europe. Mr. Platzer was named Vice President – Global Industrial Metalworking in July 2005 with responsibility for the Company’s global industrial metalworking, VAR, tube and pipe and can businesses through December 2005. From January 2001 through June 2005, he held the position of Vice President – Worldwide Operations overseeing the Company’s global manufacturing, purchasing, quality, logistics, health, safety and environmental activities. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Director of Operations for the Company’s European business.

Frank R. Olah joined the Company in 1997. He has global responsibility for the Company’s taxes. Before joining the Company, Mr. Olah had global responsibility for the taxes of VF Corporation, a multinational apparel manufacturer, and Schlegel Corporation, a multinational manufacturer of perimeter seals. Prior to that, Mr. Olah practiced law with firms in Boston and Fort Lauderdale. Mr. Olah has his undergraduate degree from Case, his law degree and M.B.A. from Cornell and his LL.M. (tax) from Boston University. Mr. Olah is also a C.P.A.

Donald R. Caldwell is founder and chairman of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners. Don oversees the operations of all of Cross Atlantic's offices and focuses a significant amount of his time on the growth of the Cross Atlantic franchise through fund raising, network development, and deal flow. He works closely with several portfolio companies, including: Brainspark, Kanbay, Mobile Cohesion, and Rubicon Technology. Prior to the formation of Cross Atlantic in March 1999, he was president and chief operating officer of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. (NYSE: SFE). Additionally, he served as chairman of Safeguard's investment committee and led the formation of SCP Private Equity Partners (a $265 million late stage venture investment fund) and Pennsylvania Early Stage Partners (a $50 million seed and early stage fund). Don held a number of executive and financial positions, including chief administrative officer of a predecessor company of Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: CATP), a provider of information technology consulting and software development; and partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor of Ernst & Young, LLP. Prior to joining Safeguard, Don held an executive position of a predecessor company of Cambridge Technology Partners, a provider of information technology consulting and software development; and was a partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor to Ernst & Young, LLP. Don serves on several boards of publicly and privately held companies and civic organizations, including Diamond Cluster, Inc. (NASDAQ: DTPI), Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR), Kanbay International (NASDAQ: KBAY), Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (Chairman), Philadelphia Orchestra Association, and the Committee for Economic Development. Don is a CPA in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University. He is located in the Radnor office.

Robert E. Chappell joined Penn Mutual as president in January 1994 and was named chief executive officer in April 1995. Mr. Chappell became chairman in January 1997. Previously, Mr. Chappell was executive vice president of PNC Bank Corp. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Before joining the parent company in 1992, he was chairman and chief executive officer of Philadelphia's Provident National Bank, a predecessor of PNC Bank. A former director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Mr. Chappell currently serves as a director of the Quaker Chemical Corporation, South Chester Tube Company. He is also a member of the board of managers of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and chairman of the board of The Pennsylvania Trust Company. In addition, he is the chairman of the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania and a member of its Executive Committee.
