It provides two-way data messaging and position reporting services for transportation companies, private fleets, construction equipment fleets, and other enterprise companies. It markets in North America, Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and Asia. The company has 2005 revenue of about $5.7 billion and employs about 9,300 people. In JAnuary 2006,the company was named one of FORTUNE magazine's '100 Best Companies to Work for in America,' for the eighth consecutive year.
