Quest Resources is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development and production of natural gas. Co.'s operations are focused on the development of coal bed methane (CBM) in a 15 county region in southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma, known as the Cherokee Basin. In addition to its CBM reserves and acreage, Co. also owns and operates a gas gathering pipeline network of approximately 1,994 miles that serves its acreage position. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. had 211.1 billion cubic feet equivalent of net proved reserves in the Cherokee Basin, of which approximately 99.0% were CBM and 66.9% were proved developed.
