Ms. Ma has over 14 years of experience in high-tech finance and sales operations in both enterprise software and hardware companies. Most recently, she was VP of Finance at Softrock Systems, a software start-up in San Jose, where she managed all finance, legal and all other administrative functions of the company. Prior to Softrock, she worked at ONI Systems, a telecom hardware manufacturer, where she held positions as International Business Manager, Corporate Controller, and Director of Finance. As Corporate Controller and Director of Finance, she managed all of finance and accounting and helped ONI grow from a 25-person start-up to a public company of over $100 million in revenues and over 400 employees. She has also worked in finance and accounting at Oracle Corporation and Ross Systems. Ms. Ma holds a B.S. in Management Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jim Pendergast joined Axeda in 2007, and is responsible for driving the success of Axeda customers in creating, deploying, and growing their remote service programs powered by Axeda technology and services. Prior to joining Axeda, Pendergast was the Director of Programs within the Global Support Organization at Openwave Systems, where he had a distinguished track record of success and innovation, creating key corporate programs for customer advocacy, crisis management, and value-added services. He has more than 15 years of high-tech experience, focusing on driving operational excellence, managing process improvement initiatives to stimulate revenue and margin growth, and building programs to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. Prior to Openwave Systems, Pendergast held senior management positions at Lotus/IBM, where he centrally managed the support account management team in the Americas, and also served as the corporate lead for the deployment of Lotus Notes throughout the IBM infrastructure. He also spent several years managing manufacturing shops at General Electric Co. at a core aircraft engine facility. Pendergast currently serves on the Board of the Consortium of Service Innovation (CSI) and has spoken at several industry conferences regarding support best-practices. He holds a bachelors degree in operations management from Northeastern University.

Matthew Ferry joined Axeda in 2008 and is responsible for the worldwide sales organization. Mr. Ferry is a proven enterprise technology sales veteran with extensive experience in software, secure mobile computing and Internet related technologies. He also has deep expertise in On-Demand sales models. In his 20-year career, Mr. Ferry has built several world-class sales organizations. As VP of Channel Sales at iPass Inc., he played an instrumental role in driving the company's rapid growth from an early stage start-up to the nearly $200 million worldwide leader in secure mobile computing. He was also a key contributor to the company's $112 million IPO - one of the most successful of 2003. Prior to joining iPass, Mr. Ferry was Director of Sales for Fiberlink Communications, where he built a highly efficient sales team focused on selling a full range of high-end hosted solutions and services including remote access, firewalls and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). He began his career with the technology arm of Hough Petroleum and holds a bachelors degree in business from Rowan University.

Prior to Questra, he was a Practice Director at Oracle, focusing on growing their offshore business in India. Prior to Oracle, has served as VP of client services and operations at QUIQ (now Kanisa), which offered a collaborative customer service solution, and held management positions at Rubric and Netscape Communications. Steve Habermas joined Axeda in September of 2008 and serves as Vice President of Products, leading Axeda's world-class product management and software development teams. Habermas brings extensive development experience for remote connectivity and location-aware functionality, and a proven ability to turn visionary ideas into exceptional products. As Chief Technologist at OnStar , he led the creation of the system architecture for remotely managing the software embedded in in-vehicle devices. Most recently as vice president of technology for Tele Atlas, he led the design and implementation of the digital map maker's Global Production Platform. He also led Tele Atlas' adoption of Scrum and Agile software engineering processes. Habermas' success in the commercial sector stems from his experience as a U.S. Navy officer, where he was responsible for the daily operation of the 165-person, $1.8 billion USS Nebraska submarine. Habermas graduated with distinction from the US Naval Academy with a BS in electrical engineering. He also earned a MS in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He holds five technology patents, is an Agile software engineering process expert, and was a keynote speaker at the Scrum Alliance Conference in 2007.

The Honorable David M. Stone is the former Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). He was nominated by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate. As the Assistant Secretary, he was responsible for the security of the United States Transportation System which includes the Mass Transit, Rail, Highway, Pipeline, Maritime and Aviation modes of Transportation. Overseeing a budget of over 5.6 billion dollars and leading over 54,000 personnel, he took on what many described as the "toughest job in government today." As the leader of the TSA for over 18 months before transitioning in June of 2005, he was the longest serving Administrator in the organization's history. Prior to his assignment to headquarters he served from 2002 to 2003 as the TSA's first Federal Security Director at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). There he established the post September 11, 2001 security standards required by law. During that assignment, he led the local effort to mobilize, train, and deploy the largest federalized screener work force in the United States, a monumental effort completed two weeks before the required deadline.

Since 2002, he has owned and operated Gerald Wagner Consulting LLC, an international consulting company specializing in: international project management; technology and application consulting; and company assessments. From March 1992 to September 2003, he was a Senior Vice President, Lab Testing Systems, at Bayer, Inc. Mr. Wagner received a Masters and Ph.D. in electro-mechanical design from Technical University, Darmstadt, Germany.

Carson assumed his current position in January 2000, after serving as Eaton's corporate vice president, Growth Initiatives, working with senior operating managers on new product programs and strategic marketing initiatives across the company. Before joining Eaton in February 1999, Carson was executive vice president for Rockwell Automation. He began his career in 1972 at Allen-Bradley, where he held increasingly responsible positions in sales, marketing and distribution. Carson was named vice president for Allen-Bradley's Intelligent Sensing business in 1988. His subsequent management positions included serving as senior vice president for Allen-Bradley's Automation Group and as executive vice president for Reliance Electrical Group. Currently, he is vice chairman of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, and serves on the advisory board of Questra Corporation.
