Quintiles Transnational Corp.

Dr. Gillings has served as a director since August 1997. Dr. Gillings is the chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of Quintiles Transnational Corp. Dr. Gillings founded Quintiles in 1982. Dr. Gillings received a diploma in mathematical statistics from Cambridge University in 1967 and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Exeter, England, in 1972. He served for more than 15 years as professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science from the University in May 2001. Dr. Gillings has served on several boards and councils, including Triangle Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company, the University of North Carolina Health Care System, the Association for Contract Research Organizations, the North Carolina Institute of Medicine and the United Way.

William Deam joined Quintiles in January 2005 as CIO, bringing almost 30 years of experience in international business systems and IT. Before coming to Quintiles, William Deam served as CIO for two well-respected global corporations. Most recently, he was CIO of ACNielsen Company, the world's leading marketing information company. At ACNielsen, he led the development of an Internet-based business model and a Web framework for business intelligence services for both internal and external clients. Previously, Deam was CIO for Burmah Castrol, an international manufacturer of specialized lubricants and chemicals, where he led the re-engineering of infrastructure and business processes to facilitate the restructuring of the company into global marketing streams. He has a bachelor of science degree from Leicester University, U.K.

Ms. Selisker has served as a director since January 2005. Ms. Selisker is president of Seamark Advisors LLC and has provided financial consulting and appraisal services in the healthcare sector since June 2007. She served from March 2006 to June 2007 as chief financial officer of AAIPharma Inc., a privately held contract research organization. From January 2001 to March 2006 she served as a managing director in the Raleigh, North Carolina office of Thompson Clive & Partners Inc., a venture capital firm based in London, where she focused on the life sciences sector. She served from July 1987 to February 2000 as the chief financial officer, and from February 2000 to January 2001 as senior vice president, global shared services, of Quintiles Transnational Corp., a publicly held global contract research organization. Ms. Selisker also served as director of Quintiles Transnational Corp. from November 1995 to February 2000. Ms. Selisker was a supervisor and staff accountant with the national accounting firm of Oppenheim, Appel, Dixon & Co. in Raleigh, North Carolina, from 1981 to 1987. She is a certified public accountant with extensive public accounting experience from 1976, when she graduated with her accounting degree from Wake Technical College in Raleigh, North Carolina until 1987, when she joined Quintiles.

Fred Cohen, MD, D Phil, has served as a director of Genomic Health since April 2002. In 2001, Dr. Cohen joined TPG Ventures, a venture capital firm, as a Managing Director. Dr. Cohen is also a Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology at the University of California, San Francisco, where he has taught since July 1988. Dr. Cohen is a director of Matrix Laboratories Ltd. and a number of privately held companies. Dr. Cohen holds a BS from Yale University, a D Phil from Oxford University, and an MD from Stanford University.

Jack M. Greenberg was chairman (from May 1999) and chief executive officer (from August 1998) of McDonald's Corporation until December 2002. Greenberg joined McDonald's Corporation as executive vice president and chief financial officer and as a member of the board of directors in 1982. He served as a director of First Data Corporation from 2003 to 2006. Greenberg is a director of The Allstate Corporation, Hasbro, Inc., Innerworkings, Inc. and Manpower Inc.
