TriQuint Semiconductor

Mr. Gibson has been President of Gibson Enterprises, a venture capital firm, since its formation in 1992. In 1983, Mr. Gibson co-founded Sequent Computer Systems and served as its President from 1988 until March 1992. Before his tenure at Sequent, Mr. Gibson served as General Manager for the Memory Components Division of Intel Corporation. Mr. Gibson serves as Chairman of the Board of Radisys Corporation, and as a director of TriQuint Semiconductor, Pixelworks and Electroglas, Inc. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Oregon Community Foundation, the OHSU Foundation and is Vice Chair of the Oregon Health and Science University governing board. Mr. Gibson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Masters in Business degree from the University of Illinois.

Raymond is the executive vice president and CFO of FEI Company. FEI is a NASDAQ public company headquartered in Hillsboro and is global manufacturer of tools for nanotechnology. Before joining FEI, Raymond was the CFO at TriQuint Semiconductor and has been a CFO of large corporations for nearly 20 years. Raymond is a certified public accountant and has an MBA from the Wharton School.

Steven J. Sharp joined TriQuint in September 1991 as Director, President and Chief Executive Officer. In May 1992, he became Chairman of TriQuint?s Board of Directors. In July 2002, Mr. Sharp stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer and remains as Chairman of the Board. Previously, Mr. Sharp was the founder and served as Chief Executive Officer of Power Integrations, Inc., a semiconductor manufacturing company. Prior to that time, Mr. Sharp was employed for 14 years by Signetics Corporation (since acquired by Philips Electronics N.V.), a semiconductor manufacturer and for nine years by Texas Instruments, Incorporated, a semiconductor manufacturer. Mr. Sharp also serves as a director of Power Integrations and Pixelworks, Inc. He received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Southern Methodist University, a M.S. degree in engineering science from California Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Walden C. Rhines is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mentor Graphics, a leader in worldwide electronic design automation with revenue of $789 million in 2008. During his tenure at Mentor Graphics, revenue has more than doubled, growth rate since 1999 has been number one among the “Big 3” EDA companies and Mentor has grown the industry’s number one market share solutions in physical verification, design concept-through-functional verification and printed circuit board design. Prior to joining Mentor Graphics, Rhines was Executive Vice President of Texas Instruments’ Semiconductor Group, sharing responsibility for TI’s Components Sector, and having direct responsibility for the entire semiconductor business with more than $5 billion of revenue and over 30,000 people. During his 21 years at TI, Rhines managed TI’s thrust into digital signal processing and supervised that business from inception with the TMS 320 family of DSP’s through growth to become the cornerstone of TI’s semiconductor technology. He was also responsible for development of the first TI speech synthesis devices (used in “Speak & Spell”) and is co-inventor of the GaN blue-violet light emitting diode (now important for DVD players). He was President of TI’s Data Systems Group and held numerous other semiconductor executive management positions. Rhines is currently in his fourth term as Chairman of the Electronic Design Automation Consortium. He is also a board member of the Semiconductor Research Corporation, Lewis and Clark College and the Portland Classic Wines Auction. He has previously served as chairman of the Semiconductor Technical Advisory Committee of the Department of Commerce, as an executive committee member of the board of directors of the Corporation for Open Systems and as a board member of the Computer and Business Equipment Manufacturers' Association (CBEMA), SEMI-Sematech/SISA, Electronic Design Automation Consortium (EDAC), University of Michigan National Advisory Council and Sematech. Dr. Rhines holds a bachelor of science degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan, a master of science and Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University, a master of business administration from Southern Methodist University and an Honorary Doctor of Technology degree from Nottingham Trent University.

Stephanie Welty joined Northwest Pipe Company in November of 2007 as Sr. Vice President of Finance and CFO. Prior to joining Northwest Pipe, Ms. Welty held positions of increasing responsibility in accounting, IT and finance including Vice President of Finance and CFO at TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. Ms. Welty holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Washington and is a CPA.

Ralph Quinsey joined TriQuint in July 2002 as President and Chief Executive Officer. From September 1999 to January 2002, Mr. Quinsey was with ON Semiconductor, a manufacturer of semiconductors for a wide array of applications, as Vice President and General Manager of the Analog Division. Prior to that, Mr. Quinsey was with Motorola, a manufacturer of semiconductors and communications equipment, from 1979 to September 1999, holding various positions including Vice President and General Manager of the RF/IF Circuits Division, which developed both silicon and gallium arsenide technologies for wireless phone applications. Mr. Quinsey received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University.

Azhar Waseem joined TriQuint in July 2001 as Vice President/General Manager, TriQuint Florida and Costa Rica as a result of TriQuint's merger with Sawtek. Mr. Waseem joined Sawtek in March 1995 as Director of Wafer Fabrication and was promoted to Vice President of Manufacturing in April 1998 and to Vice President of Operations in October 1999. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Waseem held various operations and engineering positions with Siliconix, Inc., a microelectronics manufacturer based in Santa Clara, California. From 1979 to 1989, Mr. Waseem held various engineering and management positions with General Electric and other semiconductor companies. Mr. Waseem received B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and a M.B.A., all from the University of Minnesota.

Brian P. Balut joined TriQuint in July 2001 as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Sawtek Inc. as a result of TriQuint's merger with Sawtek and was promoted to Vice President, Sales and Marketing of TriQuint, a position he held from 2002 to May 2004. In May 2004, Mr. Balut was promoted to Vice President/General Manager of TriQuint Florida. In 2006, after reorganizing the Florida and Oregon locations to market based, Mr. Balut became Vice President of the newly established Networks business unit. Mr. Balut joined Sawtek in October 1994 as Sales Manager. He was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing in November 1996 and to Vice President Sales and Marketing in September 1998 and assumed overall corporate responsibility for this function in July 2002. From 1987 to 1994, Mr. Balut held various positions in sales, marketing and engineering with REMEC, a manufacturer of electronic components. Mr. Balut received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a M.B.A. from Rollins College.

Bruce R. Fournier joined TriQuint during its start-up phase in June 1987. Since that time, he has held a variety of positions including Vice President, Worldwide Sales from September 1994 to June 1998. From June 1998 until May 2002, Mr. Fournier held the position of Vice President and General Manager, Foundry Services and subsequently was appointed to the position of Vice President, TriQuint Oregon. In 2006 he became the Vice President for TriQuint's Business Development activities. Prior to joining TriQuint, Mr. Fournier held engineering, sales and marketing management positions with Fairchild Semiconductor, Weitek Corporation and Honeywell, Inc. Mr. Fournier received an A.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Maine and a M.B.A. from the University of Southern Maine.

David Pye joined TriQuint in May 1996 as Vice President, Manufacturing and in May 2002 was named Vice President, TriQuint Oregon. In 2006, Mr. Pye became the Vice President for Oregon and external operations across the corporation. From 1983 until 1996, Mr. Pye was Vice President and General Manager at VLSI Technology, Inc., a semiconductor company, where he served in various capacities. From 1973 to 1983, Mr. Pye served in various roles in process engineering and process development at Texas Instruments. Mr. Pye received a B.A. degree from Napier College of Science and Technology, Edinburgh, Scotland.

Glen Riley is Vice President of the Commercial Foundry business unit and Supply Chain Management organization. He previously led strategic business development and quality initiatives across all TriQuint business units. Mr. Riley joined the company in January 2003 as Vice President, TriQuint Optoelectronics. He came to TriQuint from Opticalis, a venture-funded start-up company developing optical communication sub-systems, where he was President and CEO. Prior to Opticalis, he spent six years with Agere Systems as Vice President of Optical Core Networks, Vice President of Sales for the Asia-Pacific region, and as General Manager of the Storage Products group. Mr. Riley has also worked in various management, marketing, and sales positions at Philips Semiconductors and Texas Instruments. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering with highest distinction from the University of Maine and has completed the General Manager Program at Harvard Business School.

Thomas Cordner joined TriQuint in January 1998 as Vice President and General Manager, Millimeter Wave Communications as a result of TriQuint's acquisition of Raytheon's MMIC operations and was promoted to Vice President, TriQuint Texas in May 2002. In 2006 Mr. Cordner, along with Texas Vice President Mike Sanna, was charged with combining military products operations in Bend, OR and Richardson, TX into a single unit. From July 1997 to January 1998, Mr. Cordner served as Operations Manager for Raytheon, heading its GaAs MMIC operations. Prior to that time, Mr. Cordner was an employee of Texas Instruments, a semiconductor and communications equipment manufacturer, for 32 years, most recently as the Operations Manager for its GaAs Operations Group from January 1991 to July 1997. Mr. Cordner received a B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Tim Dunn joined TriQuint Semiconductor in July of 2006 as Vice President and General Manager of the company's Handset Business Unit and leads TriQuint's development and marketing of next-generation RF modules and components. Prior to joining TriQuint, Mr. Dunn was Vice President and General Manager of Intel's Platform Components Group where he worked to realize the company's platform vision by developing leading networking and chipset products. Mr. Dunn worked at Intel from 1988 to 1991, and again from 1994 to 2006, holding various executive and managerial positions. In addition to his Intel tenure, he has held marketing and product management positions with Hewlett-Packard and Cirrus Logic. Mr. Dunn holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.

Todd DeBonis joined TriQuint in April 2004 as Vice President, Worldwide Sales. He became Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Customer Service in 2006. From February 2002 to April 2004, Mr. DeBonis held the position of Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Centillium Communications. Mr. DeBonis also served as the Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Ishoni Networks and Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Communications Division of Infineon Technologies North America. Mr. DeBonis has a B.S degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nevada.

Nominating and Governance Committee Chairman Audit and Compensation Committees Member Retired Executive, AT&T (now Agere Systems) Dr. Gary has been a director of our company since May 1996. Dr. Gary has been retired since 1996. From 1967 until 1996, he served in various capacities for Bell Laboratories, Western Electric Corporation and the Microelectronics division of AT&T Corporation (now Agere Systems, Inc.), with his last position being vice president of the Netcom IC business unit. He also serves as chairman of the board of directors of Data I/O Corporation. Dr. Gary holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lafayette College, an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.

Mr. Young has been a director of our company since July 2001. Prior to joining our board, he was a director of Sawtek Inc. from 1996 until 2001 when Sawtek merged with TriQuint. Mr. Young was a senior partner in the Atlanta office of BDO Seidman, LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm, from January 1996 to June 2000. Mr. Young retired in July 2000. From April 1995 to December 1995, Mr. Young was the chief financial officer for Hayes Microcomputer Products, Inc., a manufacturer of modems and communication equipment. From 1965 to 1995, Mr. Young held various positions with BDO Seidman, LLP, and from 1988 to 1995 he was vice chairman and a member of BDO Seidman’s Executive Committee. Mr. Young has a B.S. degree in accounting from Ferris State University. He is a certified public accountant. Under Item 401(h) of Regulation S-K, Mr. Young is the designated audit committee financial expert. Mr. Young is considered “independent” as the term is used in Item 7(d)(3)(iv) of Schedule 14A under the 1934 Act.
