RAE Systems

Michael Ownby serves as our Vice President of Finance and Chief Compliance Officer for the Company s operations in Beijing, Fushun and Shanghai, China. Since December 2008 he has served as a board member on RAE Coal Mine Safety Instruments (Fushun) Co., Ltd. Previously, Mr. Ownby served as Treasurer and Corporate Secretary with RAE Systems from July 2005 until October 2008. Prior to joining RAE Systems he founded MRO s Strategic Services, co-founded DBA Capital Advisory Services and held other key business and executive positions at both private and public companies. Mr. Ownby holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Randall Gausman joined RAE Systems in October 2006 as Chief Financial Officer. Since May 2006, Mr. Gausman has worked as an independent financial consultant. From April 2002 to May 2006, Mr. Gausman served as Chief Financial Officer of Tut Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:TUTS), which delivers industry leading content processing and distribution products for deploying next-generation video and IP services over broadband networks. His previous work experience also included assignments in finance with Zantaz, Inc. and American President Companies. Mr. Gausman holds both a bachelor of science and masters in business administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a certificate in corporate finance from the University of Michigan School of Business Administration.

Fei-Zhou Shen joined RAE Systems in May 2001 and has served in various key roles including Vice President of Worldwide Manufacturing. Mr. Shen is currently Vice President of China Business Operations. Mr. Shen has over 20 years of business experience serving in key business and strategic management roles. Mr. Shen has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao-Tong University and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho.

Sigrun Hjelmquist has served as a member of our Board of Directors since March 2004 and is currently a partner and chairman of the Board of Directors for the Sight Executive Group. From 2000 to 2005, Ms. Hjelmquist was investment manager and one of the founding partners of BrainHeart Capital, a venture capital company. From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Hjelmquist was President of Ericsson Components AB, and from 1994 to 1997, General Manager of the Microelectronics Business Unit at Ericsson Components AB. Ms. Hjelmquist currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sandvik AB, Svenska Handelsbanken AB, IBS AB, EON Sverige AB, Audiodev AB, AU Systems AB and Symsoft AB. Ms. Hjelmquist received an M.S. in Engineering Physics and a Licentiate of Engineering in Applied Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

Member of the Board since 2007. Sigrun Hjelmquist has held various positions in Ericsson (1979-2000), with the last years as CEO of Ericsson Components AB. Today she is partner and chairman of Sight Executive Group, consultants in executive search, management development and coaching. She is also member of the board at: Sandvik, Svenska Handelsbanken, Audiodev, Micronic Laser Systems, Symsoft and RAE Systems Inc.

Susan Wang has served as our director since December 2003. Ms, Wang, who retired from Solectron in May 2002, served in various management positions there from 1984 to June 2002. Her final position at Solectron, an electronics manufacturing services and supply chain solutions company, was Executive Vice President for Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer, a position she held from September 2001 to June 2002. Prior to joining Solectron, Ms. Wang held financial and managerial positions with Xerox Corporation and Westvaco Corporation. She began her career with Price Waterhouse & Co. in New York and is a certified public accountant. Ms. Wang is also a director of Altera Corporation, a programmable semiconductor company, and Avanex Corporation, an optical switching company. Ms. Wang earned an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Texas.

Susan Wang has served as a member of our Board of Directors since March 2009. Ms. Wang retired from Solectron Corporation in 2002 from her position as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer. From 2003 to 2008, she served as a director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of Calpine Corporation. She is currently a director and Chairperson of the Audit Committee of Avanex Corporation, Altera Corporation, and Nektar Therapeutics. She also is a member of the Compensation Committee of Avanex Corporation. Ms. Wang is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Texas and an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
