Rail Europe Group is a privately-held company of which French National Railroads (SNCF) and Swiss Federal Railroads (SBB) are the majority shareholders. Rail Europe is the leading authority of European rail and related travel products in North America representing more than 35 European railroads. Having begun operations in North America in the 1930's we've been in operations for more than 75 years and serve one million clients annually. The organization pioneered development of the historic travel pass, Eurail Global Pass a product originally conceived for the North American market and introduced in 1959. Today we provide the most comprehensive line of European rail products in the industry and are the exclusive providers of rail in France and Switzerland. Products include various single and multi-country railpasses featuring Eurail and BritRail passes, Rail 'n Drive combination products, point-to-point tickets, Eurostar and other high-speed trains, scenic trains, sleepers, reservations plus add-on city products. Travelers can explore more of Europe by rail and select the product that best matches their travel plans.
