Ranger was created in 1929 to manufacture an exclusive, commercial style, rubber based stamp pad and a limited range of related commercial inks, which were distributed nationwide to banks. Over 20 years ago, Vincent DiLascia purchased Ranger and expanded it's fifty year base into the industrial coding business through the establishment of a research and development. Ranger Industries soon became a major producer of specialty inks for marking everything from airplane parts to pharmaceutical packaging. In 1979 after meeting artstampers on a trip to the West Coast, Vince innovated the first line of uniquely colored and multicolored dye ink artstamp pads. The first Artstamp Pads in hot "non-commercial" colors-Yellow, Orange, Hot Pink, Warm Red, Turquoise, Lime, Grass Green & Purple were born! They were sold under custom label to decorative rubber stamp companies, and as ad specialties, as well as through normal commercial outlets...
