In 1958, Richard T. Reminger started a solo practice law firm, principally involved in the defense of litigation involving truck lines and personal injury. By the early 1960s, he had established himself as an acclaimed civil defense lawyer, with a reputation for guts and getting to the bottom line as quickly as possible. That is the singular value that still defines the firm he founded. Throughout the 1970s, the firm grew, first into a small firm noted for trial work arising from serious personal injury cases, and then to new levels of sophistication. By the 1980s, Reminger & Reminger was the preeminent firm in Ohio concerning the defense of medical malpractice claims, a reputation we enjoy to this day. But by the mid 1980s, what was a small firm had now become forty lawyers, with expansion into virtually all avenues of civil defense. These included mass tort litigation, product liability, professional malpractice, probate and estate litigation, employment litigation, and virtually every area of civil dispute resolution. Today, with over 120 lawyers, Reminger & Reminger is a regional law firm, with offices across the state of Ohio, and in Kentucky.
