The following are definitions of terms used in this Form 10-KSB: Closed Loan: A mortgage loan, which has been funded. Conforming Mortgages: Mortgages, which meet the Federal National Mortgage Association (?FNMA?) or Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines. Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA or Fannie Mae): A Congressionally chartered corporation, which buys conforming mortgages, combines them and sells them in a pool as mortgage-backed securities to investors in the open market. Monthly principal and interest payments are guaranteed by FNMA but not by the U.S. Government. This organization is sometimes called Fannie Mae. Freddie Mac: Freddie Mac is a stockholder-owned corporation chartered by Congress in 1970 to create a continuous flow of funds to mortgage lenders in support of homeownership and rental housing.
