Dr. Shah graduated from Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India. He earned his doctor of medicine at the Government Medical College in Baroda, India, in 1976. He completed a fellowship in skeletal trauma-orthopaedics at Boston City Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He then completed his orthopaedic residency at Elyria Memorial Hospital in Elyria, Ohio, an affiliate of Case Western Reserve University. He has extensive experience working with industrial injuries. He is a published writer on orthopaedics and has performed research at Cleveland Research Institute. He is an active surgeon on the staff at San Antonio Community Hospital and currently chairs the department of surgery. He previously served as chair of the division of orthopaedics committee in 2000. He has served in various hospital leadership capacities since 1992. Dr. Shah has been in private practice since 1983 and has practiced at Upland Orthopaedic Medical Group since 1996. His interests include total joint replacement with minimal incision techniques and sports medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the California Orthopaedic Association, and the Western Orthopedic Association. He lives in Upland with his wife and two sons.

Dr. Kolesnik received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California, graduating summa cum laude. He was member of Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to earn his doctor of medicine from the University of Southern California in 1979. He completed both his internship and residency at the Los Angeles County/University of Southern California Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. He also served in the United States Air Force for four years and received an honorable discharge. Dr. Kolesnik specializes in both orthopaedic surgery and hand surgery. He is an active surgeon on the staff at San Antonio Community Hospital. He has given presentations on orthopaedics to various organizations, such as the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Chicago and the Arthritis Foundation in Riverside, California. He is a published author on orthopaedics. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and also a qualified medical evaluator.

Richard Anderson has been a Trustee since January 2000. He was elected Chairman of the Board in 2005. He previously served as a Trustee from 1990 through 1998. Mr. Anderson is an attorney in private practice in Upland. He was Mayor of the City of Upland from 1984 to 1988. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club, the West End YMCA, and Kiwanis Club of Upland. Mr. Anderson is a participating member of several Trial Lawyers Associations and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.

B. Don Ahn, M.D. is an ex-officio member of the Board of Trustees and serves a three-year term that expires in December 2007. He is a cardiologist with a private practice in Upland and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He has been a member of the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff since 1985.

David Berry, M.D. has been a Trustee since January 2000. He was President of the Medical Staff in 1988, and served as a trustee from 1987 through 1989. He is a member of the Board of Cucamonga Health Services, Inc. Dr. Berry is a Board Certified Radiologist, and a member of the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff. He is a member of the San Antonio Radiological Medical Group, Inc.

The Honorable J. Michael Gunn has been a Trustee since January 2002. He is a Superior Court Judge in the County of San Bernardino, and was previously an attorney in private practice.

James R. Milhiser has served on the Board of Trustees since 2004, and was elected Treasurer in 2005. He is Senior Vice President and Major Loan Manager for PFF Bank & Trust.

Mark Bertone began his term as a Board member in January 2008. He is President of Madole & Associates, Inc., a local civil engineering and land surveying company. He previously served on the Board of Directors of San Antonio Hospital Foundation. Mr. Bertone sits on the Board of Managers for the Scheu Family YMCA and is on the Board of Directors for the Inland Empire Open/Mark Christopher Charity Classic.

Martin Thouvenell has been a Trustee since January 1999. He served on the Upland Police Department for 30 years and was Chief of Police from 1995 until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Thouvenell is a Board member of the Upland YMCA.

Nabil Koudsi, M.D., is an ex-officio member of the Baord of Trustees and serves a three-year term that expires in December, 2006. Dr. Koudsi is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a General and Vascular surgeon in private medical practice and has been a member of the San Antonio Community Hospital Medical Staff since 1980.

Rick Hamilton has been a Trustee since January 2005. He owns Sun Badge Company and previously worked as a Division Vice President with Bell and Howell.

Steven C. Moreau is an ex officio member of the Board of Trustees. He joined the hospital as President and Chief Executive Officer in March of 2005. Mr. Moreau is an experienced healthcare leader whose career included 14 years at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He is active in numerous community and professional organizations.
