For more than a century Sapphire Engineering , Inc. has designed and manufactured high precision products from sapphire and other ultrahard materials, offering U.S. customers a domestic alternative, while supplying the world market with top quality at competitive prices. Located in Pocasset, Massachusetts on beautiful Cape Cod, we operate out of a 45,000 square-foot facility with more than 100 highly skilled employees. Founded in 1900 as John Worley Jewel, we built and sustained a strong reputation for manufacturing precision components, supplying jewel bearings to the US watch industry. Renamed Sapphire Engineering in 1976, the new ownership recognized the growing need for high-quality, high-precision, domestically manufactured ultrahard products for other industries. To fill this need we created solutions that continue to lead the field in alternative uses for sapphire and other ultrahard materials. By combining our engineering experience with our ability to fabricate specialized materials, we can offer complete Turnkey Assemblies to OEMs who are looking to cut cost and reduce their vendor base. Today Sapphire Engineering is the leading U.S. supplier of custom precision analytical and diagnostic components for...
