WILLIAM B. TIMMERMAN

William Timmerman, 62, has a long history with SCANA that began in 1978.
A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Timmerman earned a bachelor’s
degree in accounting from Duke University in 1968 and is a 1990 graduate
of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. He
is an alumnus of Leadership South Carolina. His career includes four years
of enlisted service in the United States Navy.
Timmerman was the senior vice president of finance and administration for
Carolina Energies, Inc. when the company merged with South Carolina
Electric & Gas Company in 1984 to form SCANA Corporation. He then
assumed the role of vice president of finance and was later elected chief
financial officer, followed by appointments to senior vice president and
executive vice president. Elected to the board in 1991, Timmerman became
president in 1995 and has been serving as the company’s chairman,
president and CEO since March 1997.
Formerly a certified public accountant, Timmerman was previously
employed with Arthur Andersen & Company, working with many southeast
manufacturing companies and electric and natural gas utilities.
Timmerman serves on the board of directors of SCANA Corporation,
Palmetto Business Forum, Fuqua School of Duke University, Nuclear
Electric Insurance, Ltd., Palmetto Institute Board and Preholdings Inc. His
past directorships include the Duke University Board of Visitors and Duke
Neighborhood Partnership Board of Advisors, South Carolina Research
Authority (chairman), Powertel, Inc., SouthernNet/Telecom USA, Wachovia

Carolina Gas Transmission
Paul Fant, 55, has a long history with SCANA that dates back to1979.
A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Fant graduated from North Carolina State
University with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. He has
more than 32 years of experience working in the utilities industry, including 30
years of service at SCANA and its subsidiaries.
Fant has served in a variety of leadership positions at SCANA, including senior
vice president of transmission services and president and chief operating officer
of SC Pipeline Corporation and SCG Pipeline, Inc. These two pipeline
companies merged to form Carolina Gas Transmission, an interstate company,
in November 2006.
Fant’s current responsibilities include executive oversight for engineering,
system and operations planning, customer service and business development
and management of design, construction, operation and maintenance for
Carolina Gas Transmission pipeline operations in South Carolina and Georgia.
Fant is active in his local community, currently serving on the board of
directors of Palmetto Health Foundation, Columbia Urban League,
Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and HOPE Worldwide of S.C. He serves
as chairman of the board of trustees for Claflin University and is a past
chairman of the board for the United Way of the Midlands. Fant also serves
on the advisory board for Branch Banking and Trust and on the board of
trustees of the S.C. Research Authority.

Jimmy Addison, 48, joined SCANA in 1991. A native of Lancaster, South Carolina, Addison is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He holds a bachelor of science and a masters degree in accounting, and is also a certified public accountant in South Carolina. Addison began his SCANA career as controller of SCE&G. In 1996, he assumed the additional responsibility of the information and technology group. He was appointed as vice president of finance for SCANA and all its subsidiaries in 2001 and chief financial officer in 2006. Prior to joining SCANA, Addison spent seven years in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche’s Charlotte and Columbia offices, and was also a partner in a Columbia CPA practice for about a year. In 2001, Addison received the Moore School of Business Distinguished Young Alumni award. Addison is a member of the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship and is active in various community organizations including serving as a board member for South Carolina Bank & Trust, University of South Carolina Moore School of Business Partnership Foundation, Irmo/Chapin Recreation Commission and Southeastern Electric Exchange. He is an active member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church.

KEVIN B. MARSH

Kevin Marsh, 53, joined SCE&G in 1984.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Marsh earned a bachelor of science degree
in accounting at the University of Georgia in Athens. He began his career
with Deloitte & Touche in Columbia, South Carolina, in 1977. His career
with SCE&G began as group manager of technical accounting; he was
named vice president and controller in 1989. Since then, he has served in
the capacity of vice president of corporate planning for SCE&G and vice
president of finance, treasurer and controller for SCANA Corporation. In
1996, Marsh was named vice president and chief financial officer of
SCANA and became senior vice president in 1998. He also served as
president and chief operating officer of PSNC Energy, headquartered in
Gastonia, North Carolina. He was appointed to his current role of
president and chief operating officer of SCE&G in 2006.
Marsh is a board member of First Citizens Bancorporation of South
Carolina, Junior Achievement of South Carolina and the Epworth
Children’s Home. Previously, he served as a board member at Palmetto
Place Children’s Emergency Shelter and Sharing God’s Love emergency
support organization.

STEPHEN A. BYRNE

Stephen Byrne, 49, joined SCANA in 1995.
A native of West Hartlepool, England, Byrne graduated from Wayne State
University in Michigan with a bachelor of science degree in chemical
engineering.
In his current role, Byrne is responsible for a diversified fleet of nuclear, coal,
gas, hydro and pumped storage facilities. He has also served as general
manager of nuclear plant operations at Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station and
vice president of nuclear operations from 2000 to 2004. Byrne has more than
24 years of experience in the nuclear industry, including 12 years at the
Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station in Ohio, where he received the Nuclear
Regulatory Commission’s senior reactor operator's license.
Byrne is the current president of the Carolinas Virginia Nuclear Power
Associates, Inc. Decommissioning Project and chairman of the nuclear
industry’s New Plant Working Group. In addition, he serves on the South
Carolina Governor’s Nuclear Advisory Council, University of South Carolina
Nuclear Engineering Advisory Board, Westinghouse Quality Fuels Council,
Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee, United Way
of the Midlands Food, Shelter, Security & Transportation Community Care
Council and Community Impact Council.
Byrne is a past president of the Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce.

A native of Summerton, South Carolina, Mood earned a bachelor of arts
degree in political science from The Citadel and a law degree from the
University of Virginia Law School.
Prior to joining SCANA, Mood enjoyed a 37-year career with the South
Carolina law firm Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, P.A., serving as one of the
firm’s predecessor’s presidents from 1984 to 1992. He also served as
interim dean of the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2003,
chairman of the South Carolina Board of Law Examiners from 1973 to
1982, and is a permanent member of the Judicial Conference of the
United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Mood is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina State
Bar and Richland County Bar Association. He currently serves on the board
of directors of the Liberty Fellowship, The Citadel Foundation, City Year
Board of Advisors and Columbia Urban League. He is a past chairman of
The Citadel Board of Visitors.

JOSEPH C. BOUKNIGHT

Joseph Bouknight, 56, joined SCANA in 2004.
A native of York, South Carolina, Bouknight graduated from the
University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in
biology. He now has more than 32 years of experience as a human
resources professional.
Prior to joining SCANA, Bouknight served in a variety of positions
including vice president of human resources for Dan River, a textile
company based in Virginia. He was also a division vice president of
human resources and director of international human resources for
Sonoco Products Company, headquartered in South Carolina.
In his current position, Bouknight is responsible for all human resource
functions within SCANA Corporation and its subsidiaries, as well as
corporate security, claims and aviation. He currently serves on the boards of
The Children’s Trust Fund, South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and
Mathematics Foundation and Riegel and Emory Advisory Board for the
University of South Carolina. He is married and has three children.

Sarena Burch, 51, joined SCANA in 1991.
A native of West Columbia, South Carolina, Burch earned a bachelor of
arts degree at Converse College and a juris doctorate at the University
of South Carolina School of Law.
Burch was formerly the deputy general counsel and assistant secretary
for SCANA Corporation and its subsidiaries. In her current role, Burch is
responsible for SCANA’s fuel supply and capacity strategy and ensures
that the company is responsive to the regulatory requirements in each of
the states in which it operates. She also manages the strategic sourcing
department.
Burch is a member of the Energy Bar Association, the South Carolina
Women's Lawyers Association, Southern Gas Association, American
Coal Council and U.S. Women in Nuclear. Her community contributions
include serving on the board of directors of the Killingsworth Home,
Healthy Learners program and United Way of the Midlands. She is the
sponsor of SCANA’s Women’s Leadership Group and a member of
Northside Baptist Church.

Charles McFadden, 63, joined SCE&G in 1969.
A native of Fort Mill, South Carolina, McFadden earned a bachelor of
science degree in banking and finance from the University of South Carolina.
McFadden transferred from SCE&G to SCANA Corporation in 1987 as
vice president of strategic planning and corporate services. He later
returned to SCE&G as vice president of human resources and corporate
communication and, in 1991, was named vice president of customer
relations for the Southern Division. McFadden went on to serve as vice
president of customer service and also as vice president of electric
service. In 1997, he became vice president of governmental affairs and
economic development for SCANA Corporation, and was appointed
senior vice president of governmental affairs and economic development
six years later.
McFadden currently serves on the South Carolina Chamber of
Commerce Legislative Agenda Task Force, Palmetto Agribusiness Board,
South Carolina Department of Commerce Crescent Fund Board and
South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Board.
