Karl D. Salnoske is vice president and chief information officer of Schering-Plough Corporation.
Salnoske is responsible for directing the planning, acquisition, development and operation of computer, telecommunication and information systems for all corporate and divisional offices. He is also responsible for establishing the technical infrastructure and setting strategic guidelines for use of information systems technology throughout the company.
Salnoske joined the company in November 2004 from Adaptive Trade, where he was president and chief executive officer. Prior to this position, he served as general manager, software solutions, and as vice president, global services, at IBM. Ian McInnes, Ph.D., is senior vice president and president, Global Supply Chain (GSC), for Schering-Plough Corporation.

He was awarded a research fellowship from the Danish Medical Research Council. Dr. Jensen has been published extensively. A registered M.D. in the European Union, Sweden and Norway, he is also a member of the Danish Medical Society, Danish Epilepsy Society, Danish Neurology Society and American Epilepsy Society.

Sean McNicholas is senior vice president, Cardiovascular Products and U.S. Sales, for the Global Pharmaceutical Business of Schering-Plough Corporation.
McNicholas chairs the U.S. Executive Team charged with delivery of the U.S. sales and profit targets. In this role, he has day-to-day management responsibility for the U.S. sales group. On a global basis, McNicholas is responsible for the cardiovascular portfolio at Schering-Plough, namely INTEGRILIN, an injectable IIb/IIIa antiplatelet drug, and the cholesterol management therapies ezetimibe (ZETIA) and ezetimibe/simvastatin (VYTORIN), both part of a joint venture with Merck & Co., Inc., in Europe and the U.S. In Japan, McNicholas represents Schering-Plough with ezetimibe (ZETIA) as part of a joint venture with the Bayer Corp. In addition, McNicholas co-chairs the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Discovery and Development Team and leads commercial implementation plans for the corporation's pipeline projects. He is Schering-Plough's representative at PhRMA.
McNicholas joined Schering-Plough in 2002 as vice president, Marketing, with responsibility for Schering-Plough's allergy, respiratory and dermatological franchises. He came to Schering-Plough from SYN.X, Pharma Inc., Toronto, Canada, where he served as president and CEO. Previously, he held various sales, marketing and strategic planning positions with Eli Lilly and Pharmacia Corporation.
McNicholas holds a B.S. degree in environmental biology from Swansea University, Wales, Great Britain, and an M.S. degree in plant physiology from the University of Alberta, Canada.

Kelly has more than 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Schering-Plough, Kelly was executive director of Investor Relations for Novartis Corporation. While at Novartis, he was based in Switzerland and focused on building relationships with European investors and analysts. Previously, Kelly was senior director of Investor Relations at Pharmacia Corporation. Prior to that assignment, he held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in Investor Relations and Sales at Pharmacia Corporation, Pharmacia & Upjohn and The Upjohn Company, where he began his career as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

Steven H. Koehler is vice president and controller of Schering-Plough Corporation.
Koehler joined Schering-Plough in March 2006 from The Medicines Company, where until his departure he served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
During his career, Koehler held senior positions in the finance divisions at several pharmaceutical companies. He served as vice president and chief financial officer at Vion Pharmaceuticals. He also was vice president, Finance Americas, for the Knoll Pharmaceuticals Company, the U.S. pharmaceutical unit of BASF. While at BASF, he spent four years as vice president, global finance and controller, based in Germany.
He also had divisional finance lead positions at Baxter International Inc. Koehler, a Certified Public Accountant, began his career in the auditing profession with Arthur Andersen LLP. He holds a B.A. from Duke University, Durham, N.C., and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Dr. Sumant Ramachandra brings nearly 20 years of healthcare experience and strong leadership abilities to his role as senior vice president, Research & Development (R&D) and Medical Affairs, and chief scientific officer of Hospira, Inc.
Prior to joining Hospira in July 2008, Dr. Ramachandra spent much of his career leading scientific advancements for some of the industry's largest pharmaceutical companies, including Merck, Pharmacia, Pfizer and Schering-Plough. As an R&D business leader, Dr. Ramachandra set in motion several therapy programs that would benefit patients living with cancer -- such as Camptosar® (irinotecan hydrochloride injection) and Aromasin® (exemestane tablets) at Pfizer, and Temodar® (temozolomide capsules) at Schering-Plough. He was responsible for formulating innovative strategies and executing R&D plans that resulted in successful U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approvals.
Dr. Ramachandra's award-winning work is also widely recognized through publications. He has participated in a multitude of scientific studies on tumor cell biology and immunology as well as authoring book chapters about basic cell biology and oncology. Additionally, he has filed several product patents for various cancer treatments and the use of antibodies in cancer therapy. He earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Rutgers University, graduating with high honors. Dr. Ramachandra then pursued a combined M.D./Ph.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Medical School, earning the University's Medal of Excellence and subsequently conducting his residency at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. He is now nearing completion of a master's of business administration at Wharton Business School.

Susan Ellen Wolf is corporate secretary, associate general counsel and vice president-Governance of Schering-Plough Corporation.

Wolf was recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for her work in the plain English program. She has served as chair of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals; chair of the Society's Securities Law Committee; and a member of the Board of the Council of Institutional Investors. She is vice chairman of the Securities, Commodities and Exchanges Subcommittee of the American Bar Association Section on Administrative Law and is on the advisory board of the SEC Historical Society. She is also a member of the International Corporate Governance Network.
Wolf earned a B.A. degree, with honors, in sociology from Emory University, Atlanta, Ga., and a J.D. degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Maryland and Georgia bars.

Dr. Kornberg has been a director since April of 1991. He is a distinguished author and researcher who was chairman and founder of the Department of Biochemistry at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Kornberg received the Nobel Prize in 1959 for his discovery of the enzymatic synthesis of DNA. His present research is on the genetics, biochemistry, physiology and clinical relevance of inorganic polyphosphate. He is the author of "DNA Replication," one of the basic textbooks of biochemistry. Brenda S. "Sue" Fulton is a 1980 graduate of the US Military Academy with the first class to admit women. She served for five years in the Signal Corps, as a company commander and staff officer in Germany. After leaving the Army, Sue worked in brand management at Procter & Gamble and Church & Dwight; she also took two years to work in parish renewal programs for the Archdiocese of New York. Sue is currently a brand director of OTC Brands for Schering-Plough and lives in North Plainfield, NJ, with her partner Penny Gnesin. Sue serves as an at-large board member for Knights Out.

Dr. Barnett is a successful drug development executive who brought four drugs to the marketplace during his tenure at Schering-Plough, two of which were blockbusters. His career was spent in Drug Discovery, where he led the effort that resulted in the discovery of Claritin, a non-sedating antihistamine that was Schering-Plough's leading product and the fifth leading drug, based on sales, in the world. Dr. Barnett managed a discovery program that led to Doral, a sedative-hypnotic that was out-licensed by Schering. Dr. Barnett and his colleagues made a major contribution to the field of dopamine receptors by discovering and developing the first D1 receptor antagonists. He managed the discovery program that led to Zetia, a novel cholesterol-lowering agent that was introduced to the market in November 2002, and to Clarinex, the successor to Claritin. In 1994, Dr. Barnett assumed the duties of Vice President of Technology Acquisition and External Collaborations with the objective of facilitating all areas of drug discovery based collaborations for SPRI.

Bin Chen is currently a senior researcher for Schering-Plough in New Jersey. He started his research career in 1990 when he graduated from Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Science and Technology of China, and joined Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He got a Master's degree in Environmental Chemistry during his stay in RCEES. In 1996, he moved to the United States and studied at University of Minnesota. He got his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from University of Minnesota in 2001. He then conducted postdoctoral studies at University of Minnesota and University of Kansas before he joined Schering-Plough in 2003. Bin Chen became a Christian in 1997 and was baptized at Twin Cities Chinese Christian Church (TCCCC). He was one of the founders of New Life Fellowship in TCCCC, a fellowship mainly serving students and scholars from mainland China. He served passionately as the co-ordinator of NLF before he left Minnesota in 2002. For a long time Bin Chen has had the burden to serve his motherland with his knowledge and Christian worldview. He is especially interested in introducing and developing "clean technologies" that are essential for China to achieve "sustainable development." He has been seeking God's leading towards this direction. He is excited about the vision of SPUC and will be involved in designing academic programs for SPUC.

Mike Zampella was an Information Technology manager with Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, New Jersey until his recent retirement. Mike managed the installation and maintenance of remotely installed systems and is involved in Year 2000 compliance for those systems. Arthur F. Weinbach currently serves as executive chairman of Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc., a leading full-service outsourcing provider to the global financial industry. Ms. Neese helped lead the rapid growth of the company from an organization with six clinics and 300-hundred physicians to a $1.4 billion organization with 55 clinics, 26 IPAs, and 26,000 physicians in seven years. Helen Neese studied at the University of Missouri where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degree. She sits on advisory boards for AstraZeneca, Glaxo Wellcome, MGMA, Merck & Co., Ofstead & Associates, Organon, Roche Laboratories, Schering Plough, Searle Pharmaceuticals, TAP Pharmaceuticals, and Bayer Pharmaceuticals.
