It mines coal and stores gas, has 65,000 km of underground cables, and 47,000 km of overhead cables. The company has annual revenue of about Aś6.85 billion and employs about 16,000 people. In 2006 the company sold PacifiCorp to MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company for US$5.1 billion in cash plus the assumption of all of PacifiCorp's debt..
