Mr. Falzon is a Managing Director at PREI, head of PREI's Global Merchant Banking Group and CEO of its European business. He is a Senior Portfolio Manager, a member of PREI's US, European and Global Investment Committees, Chairman of the Global Real Estate Securities Investment Committee and the Currency Hedging Committee, and a member of PREI's Global Management Committee. Before joining PREI in June 1998, Mr. Falzon was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group at Prudential Securities Incorporated (PSI) in New York. Mr. Falzon joined PSI in 1992, has managed numerous public and private equity offerings and has worked extensively in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Falzon worked for nine years in the private placement area at Prudential, eventually rising to head of the Northeast Regional Investment Group. While there, he managed a $4.6 billion portfolio of debt and equity securities. Mr. Falzon currently serves on the Board of Directors of several private companies. He is a member of the CFA Institute (CFA), the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT). Mr. Falzon holds an M.B.A. degree in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University and graduated Magna Cum Laude and a Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. degree in Economics from Rutgers University. In addition, he is a CFA charter holder and a Certified Public Accountant.
