The company produces Walker exhaust systems and Monroe ride-control equipment, as well as catalytic converters and vibration-control systems. It has nearly 100 facilities on six continents that sell to General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, DaimlerChrysler, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Toyota, Honda and Nissan. The company has annual revenue of about $4.4 billion and employs approximately 19,000 people. Tenneco Automotive changed its name to Tenneco Inc in October 2005. It received a 2006 Automotive News PACE (Premier Automotive Suppliers' Contribution to Excellence) Award for its innovative low-cost, light-weight muffler developed at it's Edenkoben, Germany, European Engineering Center.
