John T. Buhler . Mr. Buhler has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer since April 2009. From May 2008 to October 2008, he served as our Vice President of International Sales and Business Development and from October 2008 until April 2009 he served as our Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development. From August 2005 to May 2008, Mr. Buhler served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Ultrasonix Medical Corporation, a privately held manufacturer of high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging equipment. >From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Buhler held various positions at General Electric, last serving as Vice President and General Manager of GE's Ultrasound Performance Technologies Division. Prior to 1998, Mr. Buhler held various positions with Diasonics Inc., a global medical imaging device manufacturer, last serving as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Buhler earned his B.S. in Business Administration and Human Resources at Dominican College, Blauvelt, New York, and is completing the M.B.A. program at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Paul Lubock . Mr. Lubock is one of our co-founders and has served as our Chief Technical Officer since October 1999 and Senior Vice President since April 2009. Mr. Lubock also served on our Board from our inception in January 1998 to December 2001 and served as our Chief Operating Officer from January 1998 to October 1999. Prior to January 1998, Mr. Lubock was the co-founder and a principal at Abacus Design & Development, a medical product development company, and the founder of Laparomed, a laparoscopic medical device company acquired by Advanced Surgical in 1994. Mr. Lubock held various positions at Laparomed, including President, Vice President, Engineering and served on its board of directors. Mr. Lubock earned his B.A. in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Science from the University of California, San Diego and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Bender was elected Chairman of the Board in July 2002. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from May 1995 through his retirement in October 2007. He also served as President of CooperVision, the Company s contact lens subsidiary, from June 1991 to December 2004. He previously served in various operating roles beginning in October 1992. Between 1966 and June 1991, Mr. Bender held a variety of positions at Allergan, Inc. (a manufacturer of eye and skin care products), including Corporate Senior Vice President, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Herbert Laboratories, Allergan s dermatology division. Mr. Bender also serves on the Board of Directors of iScience Interventional, Inc. and their compensation committee, as well as the Board of Directors for Mission Hospital Foundation in Mission Viejo, CA.

Kurt C. Wheeler has been Managing Director of Clarus Ventures since the firm's inception in 2005. He has over 25 years of direct investment and industry experience within the healthcare sector, including being a General Partner in a healthcare venture capital firm since 2000. Mr. Wheeler was founder and CEO of InControl, a publicly traded medical device company which was sold to Guidant. Prior to founding InControl he was a Principal with the Mayfield Fund focusing on healthcare investing. Mr. Wheeler began his career with Elli Lilly. Mr. Wheeler holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University, and a M.B.A. from Northwestern University. Mr. Wheeler represents Clarus Ventures on the Board of Directors of Globus Medical, Inc., Sientra, and Zogenix. In addition Mr. Wheeler is on the Board of Directors of Alsius, Cardiac Dimensions, CHF Solutions, Cryocor (NASDQ:CRYO), Hemosense (AMEX:HEM), Neuromed Pharmaceuticals, SenoRx, Somaxon Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SOMX) and Xoft.

Vickie Capps joined DJO Incorporated in July 2002 and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Capps has over 20 years experience in financial leadership with growing and dynamic technology companies, as well as experience in operations, planning and investor relations. Ms. Capps joins DJO Incorporated from AirFiber, a privately held provider of broadband wireless solutions, where she served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for finance, legal, human resources and information technologies. Prior to that, Ms. Capps served as Vice President of Finance and Administration and CFO for Maxwell Technologies, Inc. With Maxwell, she oversaw the financial activities of the multi-division, international public company with over $100 million in revenues. During her tenure, Ms. Capps led several merger and acquisition transactions and was a key member of a new corporate executive team focusing on a new strategy, vision and business model. Prior to Maxwell, Ms. Capps served in various positions, including CFO, with Wavetek Wandel Goltermann, Inc., a multinational communications company, overseeing a growth in revenues from $58 million to over $500 million during her tenure. With Wavetek, she managed and developed over 100 finance professionals in over 25 countries and managed all legal, SEC, banking and investment banking activities for the company. Ms. Capps also served 10 years as a senior audit and accounting professional for Ernst & Young LLP. Ms. Capps is a California Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Capps received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from San Diego State University.
