Showa Denko's chemicals will keep things in balance. Founded in 1939 and based in Tokyo, Japan, Showa Denko K.K. (Tokyo: 4004) produces chemicals and allied products. The company operates through five divisions: petrochemicals, chemicals, inorganic materials, aluminum, and electronics. Among it offerings are olefins, organic chemicals, plastic products, industrial gases, ammonia, agrochemicals, ceramics, graphite electrodes, aluminum cans, sheets, ingots, foils, semiconductors, ceramic materials, and hard disks.
