Richard is the European based Practice Consultant and Executive Director of Point Nine. On joining Wainhouse Research in April 2005 , he brings 10 years extensive experience within the conferencing industry and a further 15 years in related IT and telecommunications roles. Prior to joining us, Richard played the key role for a major food manufacturer in the global deployment and management of a major, videoconferencing network used in over 30 countries. Richard is currently providing consulting services for end user organizations exploring strategies, tactics, and vendor issues in the rapidly evolving world of rich media conferencing and collaboration. In this capacity, Richard will help develop and deliver custom and standardized consulting programs such as audits and benchmarks. As Executive Director of the rich media user forum, Point Nine, he is responsible for all facets of the peer networking program, including arranging meetings, coordinating activities with partner organizations, and providing end-user seminars. Being based in Europe he will provide key consulting focus in this region. He is well recognized throughout the industry and is a sought after speaker and presenter.

Alan Greenberg has 20 years experience as a technology marketing professional, serving as consultant, analyst, communicator, and strategist to a variety of organizations in the telecommunications, videoconferencing, hardware, software and services, and multimedia arenas. Most recently he was primary author on the Wainhouse Research segment report Video Communications Management Systems. He also spent five years with VTEL Corporation in two primary roles: Senior Analyst, Education/Government Marketing and Manager of Commercial Analysis. At VTEL he was product marketing manager for the videoconferencing industry's first integrated classroom packages, was a distance learning "evangelist," and ran a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research projects. He also has held past marketing positions with Texas Instruments, Inc. and several Austin-based start-ups.
