Source Interlink Companies Inc.

Greg Mays was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Source Interlink Companies, Inc. on October 21, 2008. Greg has been on Source Interlink's Board of Directors since February 2005 and has served as the Chairman of the Company's Compensation and Corporate Governance Committee and been a member of the Audit Committee. Mr. Mays is currently a Director of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. (A&P) and of Simon Worldwide Inc.. Mr. Mays had also been a Director of Pathmark Stores, Inc. from June 2005 until it was acquired by A&P last December, at which time he joined the A&P Board. Mr. Mays has over thirty years experience in the supermarket and retailing industry in senior executive positions. Most recently, Mr. Mays served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Wild Oats Markets until its acquisition by Whole Foods Markets, Inc. late last year. Prior to that, since 2000 Mr. Mays had maintained a consultancy practice providing retail industry expertise and related services to private equity organizations. Throughout the nineties Mr. Mays served in a number of senior executive positions in the supermarket retail industry.

Bill Bailey was named Chief Administrative Officer of Source Interlink on October 11, 2007. Bill leads the Human Resources, Corporate Purchasing and Facilities Management functions for the Company. Bill joined Source Interlink after a series of assignments on behalf of The Yucaipa Companies at its portfolio companies. Prior to joining The Yucaipa Companies, Bill was President of the Food Employers Council in Southern California. Earlier in his career he was Vice President, Labor and Employment for the Vons Grocery Company in Arcadia, California, and, before that, Group Vice President, Human Resources and Labor Relations with Acme Markets in Malvern, Pennsylvania.

Douglas Bates has served as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Source Interlink since 2004 and General Counsel since 2003. Doug joined Source Interlink in 2003 as General Counsel. Prior to joining Source Interlink, he was a principal at the boutique investment banking firm Wydown Capital, LC. Prior to that, he was a partner at the St. Louis, Missouri law firm of Gallop, Johnson and Neuman, LC where he advised firms, including the Company, on mergers and acquisitions and specialized in securities transactions. Doug received his J.D., with distinction, from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1987.

Marc Fierman has served as Chief Financial Officer since November 2002. Previously, he had served as Source Interlink's Vice President of Finance since January 1999. Earlier in his career, Marc was CFO of Brand Manufacturing until the company was acquired by Source in January 1999. Prior to Brand, he was a Senior Manager for the auditing firm Lopez, Edwards, Frank & Co. in New York City. Marc has been a CPA since 1987.

In March 2004, Jason Flegel was named Executive Vice President of Source Interlink. He is responsible for operations of the Source Interlink Fulfillment Division (SIFD), the magazine fulfillment sector, and the In-Store Services Division, which includes the Information, RDA and Manufacturing units. Previously, Jason Flegel served as the Company's Executive Vice President, Distribution/Fulfillment since February 2002. From 1995, when Source became a public company, to 2002, he oversaw the Front-End Management, Information and RDA operating units. Prior to that, Jason was Chief Financial Officer and a principal of Display Information Systems Company, the predecessor company to Source Interlink.

Steven R. Parr, 49. Mr. Parr, President, Source Interlink Media, joined our executive team upon our acquisition of Primedia Enthusiast Media, Inc, in August 2007. Prior to joining Source Interlink, he served the publishing world in both books and magazines for over twenty years in three countries. Mr. Parr held the positions of President of Penguin Books Canada Ltd., Executive Vice President of Penguin Books in the U.S., and CEO of Pearson PLC's Business Services division in London. Mr. Parr joined EMAP USA in 1999, where he held various posts, culminating in his role as President. After the sale of EMAP, Mr. Parr departed to become President and CEO of book publisher, Harry N. Abrams, Inc. but returned as President of EMAP's ultimate parent, Primedia Enthusiast Media, Inc, in 2004.

Mr Allen currently is the Lead Director of Steinway Musical Instruments, (LVB:NYSE), one of the world's largest manufacturer of musical instruments and is a director and Chairman of Collectors Universe (CLCT:NASDAQ), the leading provider of value added services to dealers and collectors of high-end collectibles. He serves as a director of Brooks Automation, Inc. (BRKS:NASDAQ), that provides integrated tool and factory automation solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries. Additionally, he serves as a director and member of the Executive Committee of LKQ Corporation (LKQX:NASDAQ), the largest nationwide provider of recycled OEM automotive parts and a director of Avantair Corporation, the only publicly-traded pure play fractional aircraft company. Mr. Allen was Vice Chairman and a director of The DeWolfe Companies until it was acquired by Cendant Corporation in September of 2002. Additionally, he was a director and member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Army Brands until it was acquired by Victorinox Corporation in August of 2002. He provided the original financing for Blockbuster Entertainment, was their founding director and served on the Board until the company was acquired by Viacom/Paramount in September of 1994. Mr. Allen is a Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital and the President's Council. He served on the Board of Trustees of Miss Porter's School in Farmington, Connecticut and is a member of the Board of Advisors of Vespoli, USA and Starvest, LLC. Mr. Allen is the Founder and President of the Corporate Directors Club, an organization for directors of publicly held companies, dedicated to educating and informing its members on important and relevant board of director issues and The Executive Life Club, an affinity group company for corporate executives and senior partners of service firms. A graduate of Harvard University Class of 1967, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Friends of Harvard Football and is a member of the Harvard University Visiting Committee on University Resources as well as the Harvard Major Gifts Committee.

Ariel Emanuel has served on Source Interlink's Board of Directors since November 2004. At present, he is a member of The Endeavor Agency LLC, a California-based talent agency which he founded in 1995. Ariel is active in P.S. Arts, an entertainment industry sponsored organization working to bring arts education to public schools in Southern California and served as co-chair of the 2002 Earth to LA biennial fund-raising event for the Natural Resources Defense Council.

George Schnug has been on the Board of Directors of Source Interlink since February 2005. He is the Chief Executive Officer of AmeriCold Realty Trust. Prior to that, George had been affiliated with The Yucaipa Companies. He served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations at Fred Meyer from 1997 to 1998. From 1995 to 1997, he was at Ralphs Grocery Company and oversaw post-merger integrations for both the Ralphs-Food4Less acquisition in 1995 and the Fred Meyer-Ralphs merger in 1997. He also served as Senior Vice President of Administration at Food4Less from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, George was the Managing Partner for Sage Worldwide, a wholly owned subsidiary of advertising giant, Ogilvy & Mather. He is also a Director of Digital On-Demand, Inc. and AmeriCold Realty Trust. He is a former Director of Alliance Entertainment, which was acquired by Source Interlink in February 2005.

Gray Davis has served as one of Source Interlink's Directors since February 2005 and is a member of the Board's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Gray is Of Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Loeb & Loeb LLP, a multi-service national law firm. Before joining Loeb & Loeb, he served as Governor of California from 1998 to 2003, Lieutenant Governor of California from 1995 to 1999, California State Controller from 1987 to 1995, California State Assembly Representative for Los Angeles County from 1983 to 1987 and Chief of Staff to California Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. from 1975 to 1981.

Terrence Wallock was elected to the position of Lead Director on October 21, 2008. Terrence has served as a Director of Source Interlink since February 2007. He currently serves as Chairman of Source's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and as a member of the Compensation Committee. Previous to that, Terrence served as a Senior Executive Officer and General Counsel to a number of large grocery and foodservice chains, including Ralphs Grocery Company, The Vons Companies, and Denny's, Inc. Most recently, Terrence has been engaged providing legal and consulting services in connection with merger, acquisition and restructuring situations, as well as advising companies that provide services to the retail grocery business.
