Gary Kelly serves as the Chairman of the Board, President, and Chief Executive Officer at Southwest Airlines. A 22-year Southwest veteran who became CFO in 1989, Gary has worked closely with Southwest's legendary Cofounder and Chairman Emeritus Herb Kelleher and President Emeritus Colleen Barrett to build the nation's fifth-largest airline—and the undisputed low-fare leader. Gary began his career at Southwest Airlines as Controller, moving up to Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Finance, then Executive Vice President and CFO, before being promoted to CEO and Vice Chairman in July 2004. Gary assumed the role of Chairman in May 2008 and President in July 2008. Prior to joining Southwest Airlines in 1986, Gary was a CPA for Arthur Young & Company in Dallas and Controller for Systems Center, Inc. Southwest Airlines is celebrating 35 years of consecutive profitability and was recently named #1 in Customer Satisfaction by the Department of Transportation for the year 2006. Also in 2008, Gary was honored with the 4th Annual Friends of Texas Public Schools Friend of the Year Award. The Dallas Morning News business editors named Gary as a finalist for Texan of the Year 2005. He was also named one of Business Travel News’ 25 Most Influential Executives of 2004. Gary received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of Financial Executives Institute and the Texas Society of CPAs, and he serves on the McCombs School Accounting Advisory Board and the Advisory Council at the University of Texas at Austin. He also serves on the board of the Dallas Citizens Council.

Colleen C. Barrett is currently President Emeritus of Southwest Airlines Co., a high-frequency, low-fare, point-to-point airline which prides itself in its excellent Customer Service qualities.* Prior to stepping down as the Company’s President on July 15, 2008, she oversaw management, Leadership, and budget responsibilities over the following areas/groups: the Senior Vice President Marketing (Marketing, Sales & Distribution; Online Marketing; Revenue Management & Pricing); the Senior Vice President Corporate Communications (Pass Bureau; Emergency Response; Public Relations & Community Affairs; Community Relations & Charitable Giving; Employee Communications; Legislative Awareness); the Senior Vice President Chief People & Administration Officer (People [Human Resources]; Leadership Development & Training; Manager in Training programs; University for People; Performance Reviews; Talent Development; Onboarding Program); the Vice President Customer Relations & Rapid Rewards; the Vice President Labor & Employee Relations (Labor & Employment Law; Employee Relations; FMLA/ADA; Labor Relations & Negotiations); the Vice President Reservations; the Director Corporate Security; and the Executive Office Staff. She was also a member of the Company’s Executive Planning Committee, and she chaired numerous special Teams, task forces, and committees relating to Internal and External Southwest Customers. Prior to joining Southwest (in 1978), she worked for several years as an Executive Assistant to Herb Kelleher (Southwest’s former Executive Chairman) at his law firm. For Southwest Airlines, she served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2001 to May 2008 and as Corporate Secretary from March 1978 to May 2008, and she served as Vice President Administration from 1986 to 1990; Executive Vice President Customers from 1990 to 2001; and President from 2001 to July 2008. Colleen is divorced; has one son and one grandson; is active in numerous civic and charitable organizations in Dallas, Texas; serves on the JCPenney Company, Inc. Board of Directors, the Ken Blanchard College of Business, and the Becker College Board of Trustees; and has served on numerous advisory boards and commissions.

Jan Marshall is Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Technology for Southwest Airlines Co. Jan is responsible for Leading Southwest’s Technology Applications Portfolios and Infrastructure groups. Appointment to CIO October 2, 2006. Jan has led the Technology Applications Teams through the implementation of Crew Web Access, Maintenance Production Control, Gift Cards, Gate Readers, Kiosks, Business Scorecards and Analytics. Before joining Southwest Airlines, Jan was a Vice President for EDS/The Feld Group. Her Feld Group consulting engagements included large clients in Transportation, Consumer Goods, Financial Services and Manufacturing industries in the areas of building IT strategy, applications development, program management, methodology, as well as organizational and governance processes. Prior to joining EDS/The Feld Group, Jan spent five years with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway and, prior to the merger, Burlington Northern (BN) Railroad. As Assistant Vice President of Applications Development, she was responsible for the development and support of marketing, revenue, equipment management and customer service software for the railroad. Previous experience at PepsiCo included eleven years with Frito-Lay, Inc. and six years at northAmerican Van Lines. Jan worked with the international snack food companies in joint application development with Frito-Lay,Inc. to implement hand held computer technology, corporate reference data and sales data warehouse systems in both Europe and Mexico. Jan’s experience at Frito-Lay, Inc. also included systems management of logistics, costing and product systems, in addition to the leadership of various data center functions. Her experience at northAmerican Van Lines was in operations management. Jan holds an undergraduate degree in Psychological Sciences from Purdue University and an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Dallas.

Jeff is Senior Vice President Administration and Chief People Officer. Jeff is responsible for all activities involved in bringing the right People into Southwest Airlines; giving all Employees the opportunity for personal and professional growth; and assuring quality and depth of Leadership throughout the Company and oversight of the Purchasing and Corporate Security Departments. Prior to joining Southwest, Jeff worked 12 years at Mesa Petroleum including Leadership roles in Human Resources. His last position with Mesa was as Vice President Administration. Jeff spent the next 7 years at Belo Corporation the majority as Vice President Administration, which included Human Resources, Corporate Security, Real Estate/Facilities, Risk Management, and Shared Services, before leaving Belo to work for Roger Staubach. Jeff assumed various roles in his 4 years with The Staubach Company including EVP Corporate Operations (HR, Technology, Finance, Risk Management, and Legal,) and was President of Staubach Lease Administration Company. Started at Southwest in December 2004. Jeff completed his undergraduate work at West Texas State University - Canyon, Texas (now West Texas A&M) in 1986.

Laura Wright is Senior Vice President Finance and CFO for Southwest Airlines Co. Responsible for Southwest's overall finance activities including reporting, accounting, investor relations, treasury/tax, fleet planning, insurance, and Employee compensation and benefits. She started in January 1988. Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Southwest Airlines Co. since July 15, 2004. Previous positions at Southwest include: Vice President Finance and Treasurer (June 19, 2001 to July 15, 2004); Treasurer (September 1, 1998 to June 18, 2001); Assistant Treasurer (May 1995 to September 1998); Director Corporate Finance (October 1990 to May 1995); and Director Corporate Taxation (January 1988 to October 1990). Prior to joining Southwest, Laura was a Tax Manager with Arthur Young & Company in Dallas, Texas. Laura earned a B.S.A. and an M.S.A. (emphasis in taxation) from the University of North Texas (1982). She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Mike is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mike provides Executive Leadership to the following Southwest departments: Customer Relations and Rapid Rewards; Environmental Services; Flight Operations; Fuel Management; Flight Dispatch and Safety; FAA Airport Security; Ground Operations; Inflight and Provisioning; Maintenance and Engineering; and Reservations. Mike has held several positions at Southwest such as Executive Vice President of Aircraft Operations, Senior Vice President of Planning, Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis, Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Director of Financial Planning, and Director of Internal Audit. Prior to joining Southwest, Mike was a senior audit manager at Ernst & Young in Dallas, Texas. Mike started at Southwest on April 1, 1993. Mike received a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Bob is Executive Vice President Strategy and Planning for Southwest Airlines Co. Bob provides Executive Leadership for the Company’s Technology, Facilities, Airport Security Technology, Schedule Planning, and Strategic Planning and Implementation Departments. He directs the development and implementation of the Company’s Strategic Plan and guides the Company’s major Change Initiatives, as well as codeshare business development. Started at Southwest on February 2, 1988. Before coming to Southwest Bob worked for Hewlett-Packard in technology and finance. He began his career at Southwest as a programmer analyst in Technology. He then held various positions in Finance, including manager of sales accounting, director of sales accounting, director of revenue accounting, and controller. After Finance Bob was the Vice President of Purchasing and Fuel, served as Vice President of Technology, and most recently Senior Vice President, Enterprise Spend Management before moving into the position of Executive Vice President Strategy and Technology. Bob earned his B.S. Computer Science and MBA from Texas A&M University.

Ron Ricks is the Executive Vice President Corporate Services and Corporate Secretary at Southwest Airlines in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining Southwest, Ron was a partner in the San Antonio law firm founded by Herb Kelleher, where Ron worked extensively on the Southwest Airlines' account. All together, Ron has represented Southwest for 27 years. At Southwest, Ron serves on the Senior Management Committee, the airline's senior officer group, and the Executive Planning Committee, the ten-member executive officer group for strategic and longrange planning. Responsibilities include: oversight of the Legal and Properties (corporate real estate) Departments; the Labor and Employee Relations Department; airport relationships; governmental and regulatory affairs (federal, state, and local); political relationships; and, the development of positions with respect to public policy issues affecting Southwest Airlines and the airline industry. As Corporate Secretary, Ron serves as a liaison to Southwest's Board of Directors with respect to the corporate governance, legal, and regulatory compliance aspects of the Board's duties. Ron is a 1972 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he met and married his wife Eileen, and earned his law degree in 1976 from The National Law Center at George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. He and Eileen have one son, Alan, age 25, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Jordan Bentley Ricks.

Bob is Vice President of Properties for Southwest Airlines Co. Bob satisfies all Southwest Airlines Real Estate needs in a way that supports our People, our Mission, and our Culture. Bob has held a number of positions throughout the Southwest system including: Ramp Agent (both part-time and full-time), Operations Agent, Ticket Agent, Staff Accountant in Payroll and Employee Benefits, Assistant Manager of Customer Service, Manager of Customer Service, Assistant Manager of Ramp and Operations, Manager of Ramp and Operations, Manager of Properties, Director of Properties, Senior Director of Properties and Facilities, and Vice President of Properties and Facilities. Started at Southwest on October 3, 1977. Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and a Masters of Theological Studies from Ave Maria University.

Chirs is Vice President Ground Operations Chris oversees all station operations in the Eastern Region of the United States, Ground Support Equipment; Ground Operations Employee Resources, Staff Planning, and Airport Performance Improvement. Started career in 1979 as a Ramp Agent. Later held positions in Customer Service and Operations (Agent and Supervisor). Experience at Southwest Airlines: Started as a Customer Service Manager at MDW in 1989. Station Manager Tulsa in 1990. Station Manager Chicago in 1991. Regional Director Ground Operations in 1995. Sr. Director Ground Operations in 1999. Promoted to Vice President-Station Operations and most recently Vice President Ground Operations in 2006. Started at Southwest in August 1989.

Chuck is Vice President, Flight Operations. Chuck has primary responsibility for serving our approximately 5,500 Flight Ops Employees. He supervises Southwest’s Flight Operations Department, which includes Pilots, Crew Planning/Scheduling/Payroll, and Flight Training and Administration. He also develops and implements policy and procedures to ensure safe and efficient flight operations at Southwest. Started at Southwest in July 1993. Chuck began his career in the United States Marine Corps as a F-18 Fighter Pilot. At Southwest Airlines Chuck has been a Captain, Check Airman, Chief Pilot for the HOU Pilot Base, and the Sr. Chief Pilot. Chuck holds and ATP with a type rating in the 737. Chuck earned his BS in business administration from Arizona State University.

Darren is Vice President – Technology, Customer Experience Portfolio. Lead the Technology Customer Experience Portfolio, which includes solutions in the areas of Customer Relations, eCustomer, Executive Office, Reservations & Ticketing Systems, Ground Operations & Reservations, Revenue Management, and Ramp/Cargo Operations. Joined Southwest in June, 2003. All together, Darren has worked in the travel and transportation industry for more than 18 years. Prior to joining Southwest, Darren worked for Sabre and developed technical solutions for American Airlines’ Schedule Forecasting & Planning department and built their Enterprise Data Warehouse in support of Revenue Management, Revenue Accounting, Marketing, and Flight Operations groups. Since joining Southwest in 2003, Darren has worked in various Technology Leadership positions including Director of Data Architecture, Director/Senior Director of Reservations and Ticketing Systems, and most recently Senior Director of eCustomer Technologies, which includes southwest.com, Rapid Rewards, swabiz.com, DING!, and our other web-related products. Darren graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Business Computer Information Systems

Ellen is Vice President Reservations for Southwest Airlines Co. Ellen is responsible for leading Southwest’s Reservations department of more than 6,000 Employees. Ellen has previously held the positions of Reservations Sales Agent, Reservations Supervisor, Reservations Assistant Manager, Manager Reservations Training, and Director Reservations Training for Southwest Airlines. Started at Southwest in March 1987. Ellen received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University.

Greg is Vice President, Director of Operations for Southwest Airlines Company. Greg is responsible for directing operations to ensure that flights are operated safely and in compliance with regulations. His primary focus is the Operations Coordination Center (OCC) and regulatory compliance and coordination with the FAA. Started at Southwest in January 1979. Greg began his career in the United States Air Force as a C-130 instructor pilot. At Southwest, Greg has been a Captain, Check Airman, DAL Chief Pilot, the System Chief Pilot, Director of Flight Operations, and Vice President of Flight Operations. Greg holds an ATP with type ratings in the B737 and L382. During his tour in the USAF, he was also a Flight Operations Duty Controller in the Military Airlift Command Center at Scott AFB, Illinois. In this capacity, he was responsible for the worldwide Command and Control of Tactical Airlift C-130s. Greg earned a B.A. in business administration from the University of Oklahoma. He has completed graduate studies in management from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jim is Vice President Maintenance & Engineering. Jim provides safe, reliable, and on time aircraft to Southwest passengers and crewmembers. Jim has held several leadership positions at Southwest Airlines. He most recently served as Director of Quality. Prior to joining Southwest, Jim worked in a leadership position for a large part 145, aircraft maintenance repair station. He also worked for two other airlines as a line and overhaul mechanic and maintenance planner. Started at Southwest in September 1994 Jim earned a certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and an A&P license from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Joe is Vice President - Labor and Employee Relations. Joe is responsible for oversight of labor relations with the numerous labor organizations representing Southwest employees, and for ensuring compliance with local, state and federal employment laws. Joe's official start date was December 30, 2005. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in 1963, majoring in History and English. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Baylor Law School in 1966. Prior to joining Southwest, Joe was practicing attorney specializing in labor and employment law, often representing Southwest in labor and employment litigation. He is Board certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, is a Member of the American Bar Association Committee On Railway and Airline Labor Law, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, was selected by Texas Monthly as a Texas Super Lawyer, and is a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

Kathleen is Vice President, Strategy and Change Leadership. Kathleen will lead the development of the Company’s strategic plan and the implementation of the plan through the Leadership of change initiatives. Additionally, she will drive cross-functional change and improvement; oversee the management of the Company’s portfolio of investment opportunities; provide project management support; and support the development of the tools and processes to govern and manage strategy and project execution. Prior to joining Southwest Airlines, Kathleen worked for Capital One Auto Finance in their technology organization. In addition, Kathleen has more than 20 years of experience in the travel and transportation industry, including various technology positions for both Sabre and American Airlines. Kathleen joined Southwest in 2004 as a Director in Technology, leading the Enterprise Data Team. She was then promoted to Senior Director over the Rapid Rewards and southwest.com teams in Technology. In April 2007, she moved to the Strategic Planning group as a Senior Director. Started career at Southwest Airlines on April 14, 2004. Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of North Texas.

Kay is Vice President Revenue Management. Kay’s department works to ensure that every Southwest Airlines flight departs with the maximum amount of revenue onboard. Kay is also in charge of pricing and making sure that Southwest Airlines always gives people the “FREEDOM TO FLY!” Kay has been at Southwest for 15 Years. Kay had 3 years of Public Accounting experience prior to coming to Southwest Airlines. She arrived at Southwest Airlines in October of 1992 as a contract Employee working on a large project in the Finance Department. Kay was hired as a full-time Employee 7 months later and held several progressive positions in Finance, with the majority of time spent as a Sr. Financial Analyst, Manager, Director, and finally Senior Director of Revenue, Traffic, and Network Analysis. Kay and her Team in Finance have worked hand-in-hand with Revenue Management and Marketing for several years. B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Kevin is Vice President Marketing, Sales, and Distribution. Kevin is responsible for Southwest’s marketing strategies covering all sales and promotions; special event marketing; multicultural activities; travel agent and other partnership relationships; all field sales offices; advertising; group marketing programs; Southwest’s award-winning frequent flyer program called Rapid Rewards, online marketing, and distribution of Southwest’s products. Started at Southwest in December 1992. Kevin has over thirteen years of experience in technology and marketing. Kevin worked at Cellular One in Florida before joining Southwest. Kevin received a B.A. in Finance and an MBA from the University of Illinois.

Laurie is Vice President of Technology, Aircraft Operations and Enterprise Management Applications Portfolios. Laurie is responsible for Leading Southwest’s Technology solutions for Dispatch, Finance, Flight Operations, Fuel Management, Inflight Services, Maintenance, People and Leadership Development, Provisioning, Purchasing, Safety & Security and Schedule Planning. Laurie also leads Southwest’s Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions. Started at Southwest in March 2004. Prior to joining Southwest Airlines, Laurie spent 20 years with Frito-Lay / PepsiCo, initially joining Frito-Lay as a computer programmer. During her tenure there she contributed to many supply chain, logistics, manufacturing and accounting initiatives. Laurie’s experience also included international applications development, corporate data standardization, data center operations and Leadership of a major multi-division procurement, accounting and electronic commerce implementation. Prior to Frito-Lay, Laurie worked at Lee Way Motor Freight and Halliburton Services. Laurie earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma

Leah is Vice President, Controller for Southwest Airlines. Responsible for Accounting, Reporting, Controls and Accounting Operations. Vice President, Controller of Southwest Airlines Co. Previous positions at Southwest: Assistant Controller (November 2005 – August 2008); Director Financial Accounting (July 2001 – November 2005); Manager General Accounting (December 1997 – June 2001); Manager Passenger Revenue Accounting (December 1996 – December 1997); Manager Cargo Accounting (June 1996 – November 1996); Senior Supervisor Sales & Revenue Accounting (December 1995 – June 1996); Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst (January 1995 – November 1995); Revenue Accounting Analyst II (August 1993 – January 1995). Prior to joining Southwest, Leah was an Audit Senior at Ernst and Young. Started at Southwest in August, 1993. B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Linda is Vice President, Communications and Strategic Outreach. Guiding the efforts of media relations, employee communications, emergency response, strategic public relations, emerging and multimedia, charitable giving and community relations, graphic and creative services, corporate community affairs, and legislative communications and grassroots. Previously was Vice President Public Relations and Community Affairs. Before Southwest Airlines, Linda was a reporter for the Dallas Times Herald newspaper and has an extensive newspaper and magazine reporting background. Linda has been at SDouthwest for over 16 Years. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Texas Tech University

Lori is Vice President Internal Audit for Southwest Airlines Co. Lori is responsible for establishing and directing programs and procedures for the internal audit department. She is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership of internal risk assessment, audit plan development, and monitoring of accounting, financial, operational, and IT controls. To boil it down, Lori is responsible for leading a department that helps to ensure that the company and its employees comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and are efficient and effective in carrying out their duties. Started at Southwest on September 5, 2006. Lori has over 17 years experience in industry and public accounting, holding positions in Internal Audit, Risk Consulting, Accounting, and the Ethics and Business Conduct Office. Prior to joining Southwest Airlines, Lori was a senior manager with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, running the internal audit departments for three large public companies (February 2005- August 2006). Lori has also worked as a chief audit executive and established internal audit functions for several companies, including Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (July 2004-February 2005) and Time Warner Telecom (January 2002-July 2004). She was a Group Director of business risk services for Ernst & Young LLP, serving clients in a variety of industries but specializing in mining, manufacturing and telecommunications (February 2000-December 2001). Lori also spent 10 years with Lockheed Martin Corporation (January 1990-February 2000), completing her career there as a regional internal audit manager, and also worked for Texas Instruments (January 1989-December 1990) as an internal auditor. Lori earned her BBA in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma (1988). She is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Texas and Colorado, and a Certified Internal Auditor.

Madeleine is Vice President - General Counsel. The General Counsel provides legal advice to Southwest Airlines Co. on all legal matters. The General Counsel is principally responsible for advising the Board of Directors and senior management on a range of legal issues related to the development and implementation of Southwest's business strategy, corporate governance, compliance policies, general corporate matters and litigation. The General Counsel supervises the work of outside counsel retained in legal matters involving the company. Madeleine served as the Dallas City Attorney for five years where she managed a department of 90 attorneys and was responsible for all legal matters at the City. She also served for five years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Texas. Her focus as a federal prosecutor was on white collar crime, including public corruption and national security the division that researches and prepares advisory. Madeleine was Chief of the Opinion Division at the Texas Attorney General’s office, the division that researches and prepares advisory and public information opinions. Madeleine was a principal at the law firm of Fish & Richardson. She began her career as a commercial litigator at Thompson & Knight in Dallas. Madeleine clerked for the Honorable Jerre Williams of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. At Southwest since 2008. J.D. Tulane Law School, B.A. Bryn Mawr College

Matt is Vice President Ground Operations. Oversee all Station Operations in the Western Region of the United States, Ground Operations Employee Resources, Staff Planning, Airport Performance Improvement, and Ground Equipment support. Started career at Southwest Airlines as a Dallas Ramp Agent in 1988. Experience at Southwest Airlines: Dallas Customer Service Agent in 1989. Dallas Customer Service Supervisor in 1990. Dallas Operations Supervisor in 1992. Oakland Operations Supervisor in 1993. Opened the Salt Lake City station as the Manager of Ramp and Operations in 1994. Opened the Jackson station as the Station Manager in 1997. Birmingham Station Manager in 1998. Assistant Station Manager in Oakland in 1999. Baltimore Station Manager in 2000. Baltimore Regional Director in 2001. Director of Airport Performance Improvement (Rx) in Dallas in 2005. Senior Director Airport Performance Improvement in Dallas in 2006. Most recently named Vice President Ground Operations Western Region in 2007. Started at Southwest in June 1988.

Mike is Vice President - Labor Relations. Mike is responsible for oversight of labor relations with the numerous labor organizations representing Southwest Employees. During Mike’s tenure at Southwest Airlines he has held numerous positions in Administrative Purchasing, Provisioning, and Ground Operations. Including; Provisioning Manager, Assistant Station Manager, Station Manager, Regional Director and Senior Director - Employee Resources. Started at Southwest on July 30, 1986. Studied three years at North Texas State University.

Matt is Vice President Inflight Services. Support the Inflight Services Department while working as a Team to meet our goals, and while providing our People with the tools needed to succeed. In my 27th year (2007) at Southwest. I have worked in a variety of positions at Southwest, beginning as a Ramp Agent and moving on to Customer Service Agent, Operations Agent, Operations Supervisor, Assistant Station Manager HOU, Station Manager MSY, SMF and OAK, Regional Director, Senior Director, and most recently. Station Director for LAS, PHX, OAK, and LAX.

Pete is Vice President Schedule Planning for Southwest Airlines Co. Oversees the department that produces the aircraft schedule for Southwest Airlines. Pete’s department also is responsible for constructing and developing aircraft flows, which are defined as market frequencies and "aircraft through routings." Started at Southwest in July 1983. Pete has an extensive aviation background. He has experience as a ramp agent, ticket agent, station service manager, reservations control analyst, manager of revenue management, and manager of planning. Pete graduated from Purdue University in 1975 with a degree in general management/air transportation.

Scott is Vice President - Treasurer for Southwest Airlines Co. Responsible for the Company’s banking relationships, capital markets activities, stock option administration, cash management and investments, corporate insurance, fleet planning, fuel hedging, interest rate risk management and capital structure. Before coming to Southwest, Scott worked for FinSer Corporation in San Antonio,TX as an Asset/Liability Management Consultant. He began his career at Southwest as a Financial Planning Analyst. He then held positions in Purchasing including Sr. Purchasing Analyst and Manager Purchasing before returning to Finance in 1999 to hold the positions of Manager Corporate Finance, Director Corporate Finance and Assistant Treasurer. In April 2006, Scott was named Vice President Treasurer. Started at Southwest in April 1995. Scott earned a B.S. degree in Agriculture/Economics from Kansas State University, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Scott is Vice President of Safety & Security for Southwest Airlines Co. He provides overall Leadership, direction, and support to the Safety and Security Department ensuring that they are performing in an efficient, productive manner while maintaining the Company Mission Statement, Basic Principles of Leadership, and Customer Service Commitment. He has held many positions in the Provisioning Department including: Agent, Supervisor, Manager of Provisioning Training, Manager in ELP, ABQ, and LAS, Regional Director, Senior Director and most recently Vice President of Provisioning. Scott started as a Provisioning Agent in Dallas, Texas - April 1988

Tammy is Vice President - Financial Planning for Southwest Airlines Co. Responsible for Investor Relations, Revenue and Traffic Analysis, Network and Strategic Support Analysis, and Financial Planning. Started at Southwest in September 1991. Vice President Financial Planning of Southwest Airlines Co. since September 1, 2008. Previous positions at Southwest: Vice President Controller (February 3, 2006-August 31, 2008). Vice President Treasurer (September 1, 2004 - February 6, 2006); Senior Director Investor Relations (March 1, 2002 - September 1, 2004); Director Investor Relations (December 31, 1994 – March 1, 2002); Manager Investor Relations (September 1, 1994 – December 31, 1994); Manager Financial Reporting (September 16, 1991 – September 1, 1994). Prior to joining Southwest, she was an Audit Manager at Coopers and Lybrand in Dallas, Texas. Tammy received a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Teresa is Vice President of Ground Operations. Teresa oversees the Ground Operations Training, Central Baggage Service, Airport Solutions, and Safety and Regulatory Compliance. This encompasses our new hires, project initiatives, compliance, and baggage claims. Teresa began her career in El Paso as a Part-time Customer Service Agent in 1984. She has held the position of Customer Service Supervisor in El Paso and Customer Service Manager in both El Paso and Dallas. Worked in our People and Leadership Development department as Manager of Corporate Employment and Director of Field Employment. Came back to Ground Operations in 2000 as Senior Director of Ground Ops Training and Airport Solutions and most recently as a Station Director for the Heartland Region. Started at Southwest in May 1984. Attended Texas Tech, North Texas State and University of Texas at El Paso.

Herb Kelleher is a Founder of Southwest Airlines Co. and currently serves as its Executive Chairman, a position he has held since March 1978. From September 1981 through June 2001, Mr. Kelleher also served as President and CEO of Southwest Airlines. Southwest commenced service with three airplanes in 1971 and today operates a fleet of 453 airplanes performing 3,100 flights per day. Mr. Kelleher's company has been profitable for 33 consecutive years and has never furloughed an Employee. The Fall 2002 edition of Money magazine revealed that, during the 30-year period 1972-2002, Southwest produced the highest return to shareholders of any company included in the S&P 500 during that 30-year period; $10,000 invested in Southwest in 1972 was worth $10,200,000 in 2002 (an average increase of 25.99% per year). Tania Glenn is the President of Tania Glenn and Associates, PA, a clinical practice in Austin, Texas focusing on public safety and military individuals, couples and families. She specializes in trauma and is a Certified Trauma Specialist. Ms. Glenn is also a managing partner of Readiness Group International, where she provides trauma-based services including critical incident stress management, workplace violence prevention and intervention, crew resource management, workplace cultural analyses and team building. In her work with Readiness Group, Tania is now providing services to the United States Marine Corps by preparing Marines for combat and addressing traumatic stress upon their return. She has developed the critical incident stress management program and now serves as the Critical Incident Stress Management Coordinator for Austin/Travis County Emergency Medical Services. Ms. Glenn is a faculty member and trained trainer for the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Her prior experience includes work as an Emergency Room Medical Social Worker at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin for ten years. Tania is the Clinical Director of the Surface to Air Response Team and the Southwest Airlines Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Her background experience includes providing critical incident stress management services after the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, the Jarrell tornado in 1997, the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001, Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005 and numerous other incidents including line of duty deaths and suicides of emergency personnel. She has written numerous articles on critical incident stress management and is a regular contributor to Air Beat, the journal of the Airborne Law Enforcement Association. In 2006 Ms. Glenn was featured in "Between Iraq and a Hard Place," a documentary on traumatic stress in the military. Ms. Glenn serves as a Board Member for the Texas Chapter of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and is a member of the Safety Committee for Austin's air medical and air rescue program, STAR Flight. She is a previous Board Member of the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from The University of Texas in Austin, and her Doctorate in Psychology from California Coast University. Tania also completed the Austin Police Academy in 1998.

As a primary spokesperson for the nation's largest airline, Brandy King intimately understands the power of the press and the impact of a positive corporate reputation. Her management role in the Public Relations department at Southwest Airlines Co. has helped that team win awards and national recognition. Brandy has more than eight years of PR and media experience, having spent two years as a producer for a television station in Dallas, Texas before joining Southwest Airlines. Brandy learned the importance of the media while working on the other side of the industry. Now PR Manager at Southwest Airlines, Brandy works with regional and national newspapers and TV stations on key issues. She was the communications lead for the launch of the airline's successful web tool – DING! – which was largely driven by PR initiatives and has more than 2 million Customer registrations. Brandy also developed an external communications plan to support the airline’s decision to cease operations at Houston’s Intercontinental Airport and the carrier’s fight to repeal the Wright Amendment. In addition to crisis management, Brandy has had significant involvement with the airline's investor relations, governmental affairs, aircraft maintenance, marketing, field sales, legal, and human resources departments. In 2003, she lived, quite literally, in Southwest’s terminal at Chicago Midway Airport as Southwest participated in the filming of a reality series for the Arts & Entertainment Television Network. Her specialty, however, is taking complex issues and re-packaging them for the greatest impact on a targeted audience. A Dallas native, Brandy hails from Southwest Texas State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Political Science and Communications.

John Lindo is the Philadelphia Marketing Manager for Southwest Airlines. In his role, Mr. Lindo is responsible for building Southwest Airlines' brand presence in the Greater Philadelphia area via promotional events, sponsorships, corporate relations, and other non-traditional marketing methods. Mr Lindo has been with Southwest Airlines since 1993. Prior to his current role, Mr. Lindo was the Area Marketing Manager for the St. Louis and Little Rock region. Mr. Lindo earned his BA in Speech from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, where he majored in Broadcast Communication with a minor in Public Relations/Journalism.

Ms. Delevett is Southwest Airlines' Community Affairs Manager, charged with developing high-profile, grassroots initiatives that positively impact the communities Southwest serves - locally, regionally and nationally. Her mission is to provide support and advocacy for educational, political and cultural programs, with a special emphasis on the Asian American community.

Laurie Barnett has held the Manager, Emergency Response position at Southwest Airlines since the department’s inception in 2000. Laurie was asked to develop a comprehensive emergency response program and an Emergency Response Department to support Southwest’s preparedness efforts. Southwest Airlines Co. is the fourth largest U.S. airline (in terms of domestic Customers carried annually), and operates nearly 2,800 flights a day. Southwest has been named a charter member of the International Airline Passengers Association’s Honor Roll of Airlines among the World’s Safest Airlines. As Co-Chair of Southwest’s Crisis Committee (consisting primarily of senior executives), Laurie has played an integral role in re-engineering Southwest’s corporate and station emergency plans. She manages the 25+ Teams that support the plan and develops training to ensure their preparedness. Her primary responsibilities include the on-going task of ensuring plan cohesiveness and adherence to laws, and managing projects that provide the infrastructure to support this comprehensive plan. During her tenure, she and her Planning Team wrote and facilitated Southwest’s first full-scale/multi-discipline emergency response exercise, developed a training video (which received an NTSB commendation), and assisted with the development and deployment of Southwest’s proprietary accident data management tool, FAMNotes. Southwest Airlines’ emergency response plan has been activated in a limited fashion in response to the following events: the 1999 Burbank, California flight 1455 accident, where a Boeing 737 skidded off the runway; the events on September 11, 2001; the commencement of The War on Iraq; and most recently in May of 2003 when flight 2066 departed the runway in Amarillo, Texas. Laurie acted as the Corporate Plan Administrator, providing strategic guidance to senior executives in the Corporate Headquarters Command Center for all of these events (with the exception of flight 1455). Laurie began her career with Southwest Airlines in 1996 in the Purchasing Department, where she served as a Senior Buyer, then Contract Negotiator. As part of a strategic planning team, Laurie was responsible for purchasing process re-engineering and implementing company-wide partnership programs. Laurie received her Bachelor of Science degree at Abilene Christian University.

Roger Raines has over twenty (20) years of applied Emergency Response experience (Fire, Hazardous Materials, Rescue, Safety, and Training). Mr. Raines specific areas of specialization include Fire, Hazardous Materials Safety, and Training. Mr. Raines has several certifications, which include Master Firefighter, Hazardous Materials Technician, and NFPA Level IV Instructor. Mr. Raines is also an instructor at a variety of recognized municipal (National Emergency Training Center, Emmitsburg, MD, Virginia Department of Emergency Services, Richmond, VA, Virginia Department of Fire Programs). Mr. Raines is currently a safety manager with Southwest Airlines.

Tonya holds a BA from the Hugh Downs School of Communication, Arizona State University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School, DeVry University. As the Denver Marketing Manager with Southwest Airlines, she focuses on community relations, local strategic market planning, and is a corporate and chamber liaison. She is an active participant in the Diversity Leadership Alliance in Phoenix and co-founded SWIRL Arizona, a social group dedicated to the needs of individuals and families of Mixed Race Heritage and Transracial adoptees. Tonya joined the Board in 2006, and became Secretary in 2007. "Through my position at Southwest Airlines, I have had the opportunity to work closely with many non-profit organizations. I was introduced to Raising Special Kids by Advisory Member, Don Storrs (with Raising Special Kids since 1979). After meeting with the Executive Director and hearing about the mission and work of the organization, I was inspired to see how Southwest Airlines could be more involved," she said.

Daryl Krause is Senior Vice President of Customer Services for Southwest Airlines Co. Daryl serves as the head of Inflight Services, Provisioning, Fuel Management, Customer Relations/Rapid Rewards, Reservations departments, in charge of more than 14,000 Employees. He is ultimately responsible for the Strategic Vision of Customer Service Delivery across all business areas. Daryl has a rich service oriented background. Daryl began his career in Ground Operations and has been in many leadership roles including: Provisioning Supervisor,, Provisioning Manager, Reno-Station Manager, Manager of Baggage Services-HDQ, Regional/Senior Director of Provisioning, and Regional Director of Inflight. Daryl has also held positions of Vice President of Provisioning, Vice President of Inflight and Senior Vice President of Inflight and Provisioning for Southwest Airlines Co. Started at Southwest in February 1979. Attended Texas Tech University.

Dave is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Revenue Management. Dave is responsible for Marketing and Revenue Management, which includes activities related to building and maintaining our brand reputation; creating demand for our product through pricing, advertising, and promotion; managing our inventory of seats; and maintaining distribution of our product through various channels, including southwest.com. Prior to joining Southwest, Dave worked as a brand manager for Anderson Clayton Foods. He also worked at ENSERCH Corporation and Univest Development Corporation in marketing and business development capacities. Started June 1988; retired unsuccessfully from February 2006 to October 2007; returned November 2007. Dave earned an M.B.A from Southern Methodist University in 1981. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin in 1975.

Ginger is Senior Vice President Culture & Communications for Southwest Airlines Co. In July 2008, Ginger assumed additional responsibility for the Culture aspects at Southwest Airlines from legendary President Emeritus Colleen Barrett. She also oversees all internal and external communications for the world’s largest airline. She started at Southwest in December 1990. Ginger has worked in the communications field in the Dallas area for more than 30 years. Before beginning her career at Southwest, she worked at Maxus Energy Corporation and its predecessor, Diamond Shamrock Corporation, holding a variety of public relations positions, including director of communications. She began her career with Life Insurance Company of the Southwest in marketing communications. PRWeek has named Ginger one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Public Relations and the Texas Public Relations Association (TPRA) named her its PR Practitioner of the Year for 2000. That same year, the Southwest Airlines Corporate Communications team was named the Top Communications Department in the nation by PRWeek. In 1999, the Texas Public Relations Association also recognized Southwest Airlines with its highest corporate award, The Lone Star Award, for consistently placing a high priority on the practice of creative public relations. She was named the Top Corporate Public Relations Practitioner in 1995 by Inside PR, a national trade magazine. Other awards to the public relations department include a Gold Quill for media relations from the International Association of Business Communicators and Best in Show from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International. As a nationally recognized public relations professional, Ginger was named “Legendary Communicator” by Southern Methodist University in 2007 and was selected for the James C. Bowling Executive-In-Residence Lecture Series at the University of Kentucky in 2005. Ginger serves on the board of the Business Civic Leadership Center, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the advisory board of the Council of Public Relations Firms. She is a past president of the Dallas Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and a past member of the Southern Methodist University Public Relations Advisory Board and the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Advisory Board. She previously served on the boards of Big Brothers and Sisters of Metropolitan Dallas and Southwest Care. Ginger is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and a graduate of Leadership Texas. Greg is Senior Vice President Operations for Southwest Airlines Co. Greg is responsible for the Ground Operations Department, including Cargo Management and Airport Performance Improvement; the Flight Dispatch Department; the Operations Coordination Center; and Ontime Performance Initiatives. Greg also serves as the Company’s Emergency Director. Wells has been with Southwest Airlines over 25 years, with a broad background of operational experience including that of Southwest's station manager in both San Jose and Phoenix where he lead all aspects of the airline's operations in those cities. In 1996, Wells earned the role of regional ground operations director then became senior ground operations director in 1997. He assumed the helm of flight dispatch in 1999 as its director. In 2001, Greg was promoted to Vice President of Safety, Security and Flight Dispatch. In September 2004, Greg was promoted to Vice President of Ground Operations and later to Senior Vice President Ground Operations. Greg started in February 1981.

Mr. Crockett has been practicing law with the firm since 1963. He served on the firm's Management Committee and Chaired the Firm’s Board of Directors for a number of years. Mr. Villanueva was previously Managing Director of Bastion Capital Corporation and Bastion Management Corporation, the first private equity fund to focus on the Hispanic market. Bastion’s limited partners included several of the nation’s largest institutional investors including New York, Pennsylvania, and CalPers. Bastion enjoyed returns amongst the very highest of its peers. Mr. Villanueva left the broadcasting business after 25 years as a television executive, Senior Vice President, Partner and Director with Spanish International Communications Corp. and its successor company Univision. Mr. Villanueva has developed and sold numerous broadcasting properties across the United States. Under Mr. Villanueva’s direction, KMEX-TV in Los Angeles became the most profitable Spanish language station in the United States. Univision was sold to Hallmark Cards and First Chicago Venture Capital in 1988. Current corporate boards on which Mr. Villanueva currently serves include Integrated Water Resources (Chairman), Met West Funds, Fleetwood Enterprises (NYSE:FLE), Banamex USA and Juanita’s Foods. Former directorships include Spanish International Communications Corporation (Univision station group) and Telemundo Network. Mr. Villanueva serves as a Director for both the New America Alliance and the Marathon Club. Villanueva is the recipient of two Honorary Doctorate degrees from New Mexico State University and California Lutheran University.

John T. Montford is the Senior Vice President-Western Region Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for AT&T. He is responsible for all regulatory, legislative, governmental and external affairs in the states west of the Mississippi, except California, as well as Connecticut. He joined SBC in 2001 and was appointed to his current position in November 2005 at the completion of the merger between SBC and AT&T. He is the Chairman of the Board of the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation. Montford was the 2005 Chairman of the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. He is a Director of Southwest Airlines since 2002 and Fleetwood Enterprises, a Fortune 1000 company, the nation's largest RV manufacturer, since 1999. Prior to joining SBC, Montford was the Texas Tech University System's first chancellor, where he was responsible for the University's legislative affairs, community relations, budget, development, marketing activities and strategic planning. In 2001 he was named Chancellor Emeritus of Texas Tech University System. Before being named chancellor, he served as a member of the Texas Senate for 14 years. During his tenure in the Senate he served as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee and chairman of the Senate State Affairs Committee. He was elected president pro tem for the 73rd Legislative Session. Texas Monthly named Senator Montford among the Top 10 Best Legislators for five legislative sessions. Montford was an active duty officer in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971. He also served as an elected district attorney from 1979 to 1982. He received his bachelor's degree in political science and his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He and his wife Debbie are the proud parents of three children and grandparents of John Montford McCracken, born on Texas Independence Day, March 2, 2004. They reside in San Antonio, Texas.

William H. Cunningham, Ph.D., has served as a member of our Board of Directors since July 2000. Dr. Cunningham served as Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer of The University of Texas System from 1992 to 2000, in addition to holding the Lee Hage and Joseph D. Jamail Regents Chair in Higher Education Leadership. He served as President of The University of Texas at Austin, a component institution of the University of Texas System, from 1985 to 1992. He is currently a Professor of Marketing at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Cunningham serves on a number of public commissions, private corporate boards and in a number of advisory roles to corporations. Dr. Cunningham serves on the board of directors of John Hancock Advisers, Inc. and John Hancock Funds II and III. He also serves on the board of directors of Lincoln National Corporation, Southwest Airlines, Inc., LIN Television Corporation and Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc., each of which is a publicly-traded corporation. Dr. Cunningham received his Ph.D. and M.B.A. from Michigan State University. In 1993, he received an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Michigan State University.
