Brett Huston is vice president, general counsel and secretary for Spectra Logic. Huston utilizes his broad legal background with Spectra Logic by supervising the company's global legal function including commercial law, intellectual property law, legal policies, compliance, employment law, as well as litigation support. Huston's experience in corporate law spans more than two decades, beginning with his first job as in-house counsel with LexisNexis in 1984, and later as general counsel with CareerTrack, Inc. in 1988. During Huston's tenure with CareerTrack, he was general counsel, human resource director and eventually COO. Prior to joining Spectra Logic, Huston was an attorney with an intellectual property boutique law firm. From 2000 to 2005, Huston managed Spectra Logic's general legal, financial, and risk management operations, and served as the corporate secretary. Huston currently directs global legal operations, as well as human resource operations in development, compensation, benefits, staffing, human resources systems, education and organization development. Huston received his bachelor's degree in political science and history from Wright State University and his law degree from the University of Dayton. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and is licensed in the state courts of Colorado and Ohio (inactive) and in the US District Court of Colorado.

Brian Grainger has spent more than 14 years in the storage industry and currently serves as Spectra Logic's vice president of the federal and south sales regions. Grainger joined Spectra Logic in 2001 as territory sales manager for the Carolinas, Florida and Georgia but was soon promoted to regional sales manager for the entire Southeast. In 2003, he founded the Federal sales division of the company, which now comprises more than one-quarter of North American revenue. Before Spectra Logic, Grainger held sales, sales management and product management positions with OnStream, Gates/Arrow, Seagate and Connor Peripherals.
