Spell Capital Partners, LLC is a private equity and buyout firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are engaged in the acquisition of controlling interests in well-managed, historically profitable manufacturing or distribution businesses. We use our expertise in acquisitions and financing in partnership with management to grow the businesses in which we invest, both internally and through add-on acquisitions. The principals of Spell Capital Partners are widely regarded as accomplished, experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds, successful investment track records and solid business networks. We have extensive contacts and relationships to identify acquisition opportunities, and the experience and skills to analyze their performance, assess the strength of the management teams, obtain the necessary financing and consummate transactions. By drawing on our own experiences, we are able to complement a management team's capabilities and advise our portfolio companies in the areas of strategic planning, business management, financial management, investment banking and strategic merger and acquisition opportunities. We strive to be management's partner, taking the lead in structuring and capitalizing investment transactions and providing financing for growth. However, in the management and operations of the business, we maintain only an advisory role.
