Company Overview Spherion Corporation was founded in 1946 and provides temporary staffing services, managed services and permanent placement services. We are headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and operate a network of 6 71 locations within North America. We are incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware. As of December 28, 2008, we had 50 4 company-owned offices, 101 franchised locations and 66 area-based franchised locations. We provide temporary staffing services, managed services and permanent placement services under two operating segments Professional Services and Staffing Services, within the United States of America and Canada. As of December 28, 2008, our Canadian operations represented approximately 4.4% of the Companys total revenue. Temporary staffing services include personnel in the following skill categories: clerical, light industrial, information technology, finance and accounting, legal, engineering, sales and marketing, human resources and administrative. Roy G. Krause is president and chief executive officer of Spherion Corporation (NYSE:SFN). Founded in 1946, Spherion is a leading recruiting and staffing company that provides integrated solutions to meet the evolving needs of companies and job candidates. Employing 275,000 people annually through its network of 700+ offices, Spherion is one of North America's largest employers. Krause was appointed to this position by the Board of Directors in October 2004. He had served at the helm of the Company as president and chief operating officer since July 2003. During that time, he led the initiative to refine the Company's focus on the North American staffing and recruitment industry and oversaw the implementation of an enterprise-wide technology system that is designed to allow Spherion to realize greater operating efficiencies and profitability improvements. Krause joined the organization as executive vice president and chief financial officer in 1995. Prior to Spherion, Krause served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation and HomeBanc Federal Savings for 15 years. He was previously associated with the accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP for seven years. Krause received a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University. He is a member of the board of directors of the American Staffing Association, the American Red Cross (Broward County Chapter) and the Broward Workshop. With a keen understanding of the workforce and the issues that drive performance, Krause has frequently been quoted in the business press about the findings and implications of the Spherion Emerging Workforce Study and the Spherion Employment Report.

Herb Morrow serves as Village Mayor. He joined the Village Board in 1993 as Trustee. He was first elected Mayor in 1994 and in June 2006 was elected to his seventh term. Mayor Morrow is a lifelong resident of Long Island. He attended St Pius X High School in Uniondale, earned his BA from Cathedral College in Douglaston, New York and attended Immaculate Conception Seminary in Lloyd Harbor. He did his graduate work in business in the MBA program at New York University. His business career has included a number of entrepreneurial ventures and executive positions including President of Yourdon Inc., a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak, and Vice President of Business Development at Norrell Corporation, ASI Solutions and Bowne Business Solutions. He is currently Senior Vice President for the Northeast Division of Spherion Corporation, a Ft Lauderdale based Staffing and Recruiting firm. He has spoken at a number of conferences on Outsourcing Solutions for Business. Mayor Morrow has served in a number of executive positions of the Suffolk County Village Officials Association including President from 2000-2002. He has been appointed to the Governor's Long Island Coastal Advisory Commission, the County's Smart Growth Advisory Commission, and the Town of Huntington's Harborfront Commission, LWRP Committee and the Homeland Security Task Force. He is also a member of the Town of Huntington's Republican Committee and on the Board of Directors of the Nathan Hale Beach Association.

M. Anne Szostak Director since October 2004 Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee Member Since June 2004, Anne Szostak has been president and chief executive officer of Szostak Partners, LLC a consulting firm that advises businesses on strategic and human resources issues.
