SSI Technologies is a company that has followed the outline of Stik/Strip and is the result of 37 years of experience and technological innovation. SSI is the leading technology-based plastic card manufacturer in the world and has created many of the procedures for imaging, scanning, and encoding presently used by most plastic card producers. Magnetic stripe and barcoded plastic cards are manufactured using an exclusive scanning system to ensure accuracy in every order. Simply put, we scan every card using a "positive/negative" check system. SSI's MIS department is tasked with the constant development of new procedures to remain the leader in our industry. SSI developed the first prepaid card for AT&T, and we developed the Universal membership card and the first gift cards for Blockbuster. A voter credential with 24 fields of data and high security features was created for Mexico that identified over 55,000,000 voters.
