Christopher G. Chavez became a member of our board of directors in June 2002. He is president and chief executive officer of Advanced Neuromodulation Systems (ANS), a division of St. Jude Medical, Inc. Prior to joining ANS, Mr. Chavez was vice president of worldwide marketing and strategic planning for Eastman Kodak?s Health Imaging Division where the division?s five worldwide profit centers reported to him. From 1981 to 1997, Mr. Chavez was with Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc., a major division of Johnson & Johnson. While with J&J, he progressed through several positions in finance, strategic planning, domestic and international marketing, new business development and general management. His most recent position was vice president and general manager of the Infection Prevention Business Unit, one of four worldwide business units with approximately one-half billion dollars in sales. Mr. Chavez currently serves on the board of the North Texas Visiting Nurse Association, the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (chairman) and the Dallas/Fort Worth Health Industry Council.

Denis Gestin was named President of the International Division in January 2008. He was previously named President of SJM Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada in August 2004. He joined St. Jude Medical in 1997, managing cardiac rhythm management and catheter product sales in France. He was named Managing Director of St. Jude Medical France in 1999 and was promoted to Vice President, Northern Europe and Africa in 2002. Mr. Gestin has more than 20 years experience in the medical technology industry in Europe, including 10 years at ELA Medical. He holds an advanced business degree from the Ecole des Cadres in Paris, France.

Eric Fain, M.D., was promoted to President of the St. Jude Medical Cardiac Rhythm Management Division (CRMD) in July 2007. He previously served as Executive Vice President, Development and Clinical/Regulatory Affairs for CRMD since January 2005. Dr. Fain became Senior Vice President, Clinical/Regulatory Affairs of St. Jude Medical's Cardiac Rhythm Management business in June 1998. In this position, he was responsible for all cardiac rhythm management clinical and regulatory activities worldwide. He previously held the position of Vice President, Tachycardia Product Planning and Research. Dr. Fain originally joined Ventritex, Inc. in June 1987 as Manager, Clinical Research and was Vice President, Systems Development when St. Jude Medical acquired the company in 1997. Dr. Fain received his M.D. from Stanford University School of Medicine and holds a Sc.B. degree in Applied Math/Biology from Brown University.

Jane Song was named President of the St. Jude Medical Atrial Fibrillation business in August 2004. She had previously served as President of Cardiac Surgery since May 2002. Ms. Song joined St. Jude Medical in 1998 as Senior Vice President, Operations for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business in Sylmar, California. Her responsibilities in that position included overseeing product development, manufacturing, quality control, customer service, and information technology. Before joining St. Jude Medical, Ms. Song held executive positions in global operations and business development at EG&G. Prior to her tenure at EG&G, she was employed at Coopers & Lybrand and Texas Instruments. Ms. Song received her B.S. in Engineering from Polytechnic University and an M.S. in Engineering from Northeastern University.

Michael Rousseau was promoted to Group President of St. Jude Medical in January 2008, with the company's four product divisions reporting to him. He had previously served as President of St. Jude Medical's U.S. Division since July 2001. He joined the company in February 1999, as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing for the Cardiac Rhythm Management business. In August 1999, Mr. Rousseau was appointed Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing and the previously separate departments, Marketing and Sales, were combined under his leadership. Prior to his tenure at St. Jude Medical, Mr. Rousseau worked for Sulzer Intermedics, Inc. for 11 years as Vice President of several functional areas and as Director, Risk Management. Mr. Rousseau received his B.B.A. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia.

Thomas Northenscold was named Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer in November 2007. From March 2003 to October 2007, he was Vice President, Administration, where he had responsibility for the Corporate Human Resources function. In January 2005, Mr. Northenscold shifted responsibilities, assuming the leadership of the company's global SAP implementation. Mr. Northenscold joined the company in 2001 as Vice President, Finance and Administration for the Daig Division. Before joining the company, Mr. Northenscold worked in finance and operations management positions in high-tech and medical-technology companies, including Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc., the cardiac rhythm management business unit of Boston Scientific. Mr. Northenscold holds a B.S. in Management and Industrial Relations from Minnesota State University and an M.B.A. with a Finance concentration from the University of Michigan.

Pamela Krop joined St. Jude Medical in July 2006 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She previously spent 15 years at General Electric Company, most recently as General Counsel of GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences, a $3 billion business acquired by GE, formerly known as Amersham plc. During her time at GE, Ms. Krop also served as Vice President and General Counsel of GE Medical Systems Information Technologies and as Associate General Counsel of GE Capital Fleet Services. Ms. Krop has worked at law firms in Washington, D.C. and Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her law degree from Stanford Law School at Stanford University, where she was an associate editor of the Stanford Law Review. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

John W. Brown is Chairman of the Board of InHealth. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Stryker Corporation, a position he has held since 1980. Mr. Brown started his distinguished career as an engineer for the Ormet Corporation, an aluminum manufacturer, and then worked for Thiokol Chemical Corporation where he developed rocket propellants. In 1972, Mr. Brown became President of Edward Weck & Company, a subsidiary of Squibb Corporation, a position he held until 1977 when he became President and Chief Executive Officer of Stryker Corporation after the death of Lee Stryker, son of company founder Dr. Homer Stryker. Under Mr. Brown's leadership, Stryker went public in 1977 and steadfastly expanded its product lines. The company grew from $23 million in revenue in 1977 to over $4.9 billion by 2005, and the number of employees increased from 325 to 15,000 during the same period. Mr. Brown is a Director of National City Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio. He is also a Director of the American Business Conference, a coalition of Chief Executive Officers of mid-size, high growth companies. Mr. Brown serves as a governor-appointee on the Michigan Economic Development Committee, is a Board member of Southwest Michigan First, Greater Kalamazoo United Way and the Southwest Michigan Healthcare Coalition.

STUART M. ESSIG is Integra s President and Chief Executive Officer and a director. He joined Integra in December 1997. Before joining Integra, Mr. Essig supervised the medical technology practice at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a managing director. Mr. Essig had ten years of broad health care experience at Goldman Sachs serving as a senior merger and acquisitions advisor to a broad range of domestic and international medical technology, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. Mr. Essig also serves on the Board of Directors of St. Jude Medical Corporation and ADVAMED, the Advanced Medical Technology Association. From March 2005 until August 2008, he also served on the Board of Directors of Zimmer Holdings, Inc. Mr. Essig received an A.B. degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. degree in Financial Economics from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business. Mr. Essig is 47 years old.
