During her extensive banking career, she held a wide range of management positions in human resources, marketing and communications, branch banking, private banking, personal trust, consumer lending, mutual funds, and mortgage banking. Prior to the merger of Fleet Financial Group and Shawmut National Corporation in 1995, she was Vice Chairman of Shawmut National Corporation and President of Shawmut Bank Connecticut.
