Bob has over 30 years of diverse banking experience in the banking industry. Over his long career, he has major responsibility include sales training, sales management, total quality management, retail and commercial bank management, business banking, human resources, internal consulting services and retail strategic planning. Bob's expertise developed through his affiliation with such banks as BancOhio National, Florida National, First Union and SouthTrust. He has spoken at various bank conferences on retail bank management and sales culture development. Bob served as executive vice president of retail banking with SouthTrust Bank before joining SMI. Bob's specialty areas are sales management and measurement, sales culture development, sales incentive plans, service measurement and retail brand development.

A native of North Alabama, he entered the Army at 17, serving thirteen years as an enlisted soldier in communications with the 20th Special Forces Group. In 1990 he attended Officer Candidate School and received a hip pocket commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Jerry activated his commission in 1991, after serving in the first Gulf War. He transferred to the 279th Signal battalion and where he served in several different positions including Battalion Training Officer, Battle Captain, and Company Commander. He transferred to the 142nd Signal Brigade in 1999 where he served three years as the Human Resource Officer. He served three years as an Associate Professor of Military Science at The University of Alabama. He retired in May of 2004 as a Major with 26 years of service. He joined the SMI team in September. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration Management of Technology from Athens State University.

Mary is a native of Southeast Ohio. In 1966 she moved to her husband's hometown of Tuscaloosa, AL. She co-managed a food and spirits establishment. She also managed her husbands construction office where she dealt with subcontractors, workers, HUD, government regulators and others. She later became a sales agent for The Prudential where she held a Life, Property & Casualty license. Mary was also certified to sell securities.

Julie is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. She attended the University of Alabama, and, in 2003, obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has had over 9 years management experience in the Food Service industry. Julie joined the SMI team in August of 2004, serving as Customer Relations Associate.

Laura is a native of Brentwood, Tennessee. She attended the University of Alabama, and in 2003 obtained her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. In the past year during her spare time, she worked on a local independent Film as the Art Director/Set Designer. Laura serves as Data Center Leader.
