Lars Dalgaard is the Founder, CEO and President of SuccessFactors, the global leader in on-demand performance and talent management solutions that help organizations of every size and category realize their potential through their talent. Lars brings over 15 years of proven strategic and hands-on operational and leadership experience worldwide. Prior to SuccessFactors, Lars worked for Unilever, one of the 10 largest transnational employers in the world, in Amsterdam, Germany, Amsterdam and Denmark. At different points of his career at Unilever, Lars was globally responsible for two large, recognized product lines, development, marketing and sourcing, Lars was Business Unit P&L Director, and Board Member in a 13,000 person division, and Country Manager. Lars has a Masters of Science from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow, and a B.B.A in economics, psychology and consumer behavior from Copenhagen Business School.

Bruce C. Felt, Jr. In October 2006, Mr. Felt executed our written offer of employment as our Chief Financial Officer. The written offer of employment specifies that Mr. Felt’s employment with us is at will. Mr. Felt’s current base compensation is $235,000 per year. He is currently eligible to receive a bonus of up to 60% of his base compensation. Pursuant to the offer letter,Mr. Felt received an option to purchase 500,000 shares of common stock with an exercise price equal to the fair market value of our common stock on the date of grant. In the event Mr. Felt’s employment with us is terminated without cause within the first year of his employment with us, he is entitled to receive a severance payment of six months of his base salary as well as six months of accelerated vesting of unvested shares. If his employment with us is terminated without cause after the first year of his employment with us, he is entitled to receive a severance payment of six months of his base salary, as well as three months of accelerated vesting of unvested shares. Upon a change of control, Mr. Felt is entitled to receive accelerated vesting of 50% of his then unvested shares, and if, within 12 months after the change of control, his employment is terminated by us without cause or by Mr. Felt for good reason, he will be entitled to full acceleration of his unvested shares.

Paul L. Albright. In July 2007, Mr. Albright, our General Manager, Small and Mid-Sized Business Unit and Chief Marketing Officer, executed our written offer of employment. The written offer of employment specifies that Mr. Albright’s employment with us is at will. Mr. Albright’s base compensation was initially set at $250,000, with a target bonus of $200,000. Pursuant to the offer letter, Mr. Larson received an option to purchase 525,000 shares of common stock with an exercise price equal to the fair market value of our common stock on the date of grant. If, after one year of employment with us, his employment is terminated without cause or by Mr. Albright for good reason, he will be entitled to one year of acceleration of his unvested stock options. If, after two years of employment with us, his employment is terminated without cause or by Mr. Albright for good reason, he will be entitled to two years of acceleration of his unvested stock options. In either case, Mr. Albright would also be entitled to a severance payment equal to six months of base salary as well as his target bonus, plus an additional one month for each year he is employed with us after the initial two years.

James B. Larson. In August 2007, Mr. Larson, our Vice President, Global Enterprise Sales, executed our written offer of employment. The written offer of employment specifies that Mr. Larson’s employment with us is at will. Mr. Larson’s base compensation was initially set at $300,000, with a target bonus of $250,000. Pursuant to the offer letter,Mr. Larson received an option to purchase 750,000 shares of common stock with an exercise price equal to the fair market value of our common stock on the date of grant. If, after one year of employment with us, his employment is terminated without cause or by Mr. Larson for good reason, he will be entitled to a payment equal to six months’ salary and three months of acceleration of his vesting of his unvested stock options.

Rob Bernshteyn brings 15 years of experience in marketing and information technology to his position as Vice President of Global Product Marketing & Management at SuccessFactors. Prior to his current role, Rob directed product management and marketing activities at Siebel Systems where he was a founding member of the Siebel Employee Relationship Management line of business. Rob has also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and an SAP Implementation Project Manager at Accenture. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Douglas J. Burgum has served as a director since October 2007. From April 2001 to August 2007, Mr. Burgum served as Senior Vice President at Microsoft Corporation. A graduate of North Dakota State University and Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.), Mr. Burgum worked at the Chicago office of McKinsey & Co. until 1983, when he returned to North Dakota and provided the seed capital for Great Plains Software, Inc., a business-management software company. He served Great Plains in executive roles including Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, leading the company’s successful growth to an initial public offering in 1997 and through its acquisition by Microsoft Corporation in 2001 for $1.1 billion. In 2006, he founded the Kilbourne Group, a company committed to inspiring and supporting the redevelopment of downtown Fargo. Mr. Burgum currently serves on the Advisory Board of Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Arthur Companies, Inc., a privately-held diversified agribusiness; Intelligent InSites, a privately-held enterprise visibility solutions company focused on the healthcare industry, and is co-founder and chairman of Arthur Ventures, a technology venture fund; and has established the Doug Burgum Family Fund, which focuses its charitable giving on youth and education.

Elizabeth (Betsey) Nelson currently serves on the Board of Directors for several public and private companies, including SuccessFactors and Greenbox Technology Inc., in addition to Autodesk. With over 20 years’ experience in the technology and digital media market, Betsey previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Macromedia, the leading web development software company, until its acquisition by Adobe in December 2005. As CFO from 1997 through 2005, Betsey helped the company grow to over $500 million in annual revenues and increase its market value over tenfold during that period. She was responsible for leading the company's key operational and administrative functions, including business development, customer care, finance, investor relations, information technology, legal, operations, and real estate. Prior to joining Macromedia, Betsey spent eight years at Hewlett-Packard, where she held a variety of positions in international finance and corporate development. Before that she worked as an economist with the firm of Robert Nathan Associates in Washington DC. Betsey holds an MBA in Finance with distinction from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
