John Mulcahy joined Suncorp as Chief Executive Officer on 6 January 2003. He had previously held a number of executive roles at the Commonwealth Bank since 1995. John ranks as one of the most widely experienced financial services executives in Australia. He also has broad management experience, having served as Chief Executive of Lend Lease Property Investment Services and Chief Executive of Civil & Civic prior to 1995. In March 2006, John was appointed by the Federal Government to the Future Fund Board of Guardians.

Located in Brisbane, Bernard is Chairman of Enertrade (electricity and gas), Burrell Stockbroking and the Advisory Committee of the Motor Accident Insurance Commission in Queensland. Bernard was the Chief Executive of Suncorp for ten years and led the transition of SGIO (Queensland) and its subsidiaries to Suncorp in 1986. This repositioning and rebranding was a major accomplishment. In his time as Chief Executive, Suncorp implemented it Allfinanz strategy. Bernard's past directorships also include Bank of Queensland. Bernard is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Lyndall is a highly experienced and enthusiastic usability professional who consistently delivers results in a variety of industries, by ensuring that customer experience is at the forefront of the design process. She has a strong understanding of brand management and company positioning on the internet. Specific skills include user and business research, interaction design, usability reviews, project and budget management, technical expertise in a number of web technologies, as well as a high level of communication and presentation skills. Lyndall has extensive experience working as a usability and online specialist for the private sector including 18 months at Energex, where she was also responsible for the development and implementation of Energex?s communication strategy for the internet. More recently, Lyndall has been working for Suncorp as their senior user centred designer for over 3 years and has extensive experience working with business stakeholders and helping them achieve their business objectives. She has a Bachelor of Business (Man), a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) Parallel Degrees and a Graduate Certificate of Applied Law.

Mark Milliner has been the Group Executive responsible for Suncorp's Commercial Insurance business since July 2006. Mark has held numerous senior executive positions within Suncorp's commercial business including responsibility for property claims and workers compensation. In his 10 years with Suncorp, Mark has worked on several major strategic change management projects including the merger of Suncorp, Metway Bank and QIDC in 1996 and the integration of Suncorp and GIO in 2001.

Paula was appointed as a Director on 19 February 2005. Paula has extensive experience in the securities, investment management and investment banking sectors. In particular, Paula specialised in the provision of corporate financial advice to companies operating in regulated industries, including financial institutions and utilities. Paula is a Non-Executive Director of Suncorp Metway Limited. She is also a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Tabcorp Holdings Limited. She was formerly a Director of David Jones Limited until December 2006. Paula holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne. Paula is on the ASIC Business Consultative Panel (Melbourne Chapter) and is Vice President of the Baker Heart Research Institute. Paula is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Associate of the Securities Institute of Australia.

Roy became a director of Hall Finance & Insurance Solutions in 2003. He brings a wealth of business banking experience to his role, having previously held the role of Senior Business Banking Manager with Suncorp on the Gold Coast for the last 4 years and other business and finance roles throughout his 14 years within the banking Industry. Roy is accredited as an Authorised Representative of Suncorp and is currently completing his Financial Planning Diploma and is a Commissioner for Declarations. He is a two times court of the table with Million Dollar Round Table

Cherrell Hirst has served as Chairman and member of our board of directors since August 17, 2000. Ms. Hirst is a medical doctor and until November 2001 was a practitioner in the area of breast cancer diagnosis. She serves as a director of Suncorp-Metway Ltd, a publicly-held banking, insurance, investment and superannuation company. Ms. Hirst was Chancellor of Queensland University of Technology from 1994 until September 2004. Ms. Hirst received a M.B.B.S. and a B.Ed.St. from the University of Queensland.

Dr. Ian D. Blackburne, Director, has over 25 years experience in petroleum refining and marketing, and in March 2000 he retired as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Caltex Australia Limited, a large petroleum refining and marketing conglomerate based in Australia. He is currently serving as Chairman of CSR Limited and is a director of Suncorp-Metway Ltd. and Symbion Health Limited, Australian public companies in the diversified industrial and financial sectors. Dr. Blackburne is also the Chairman of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization.

Robert Belleville was appointed chief executive, direct general insurance at Promina in July 2005, where he was responsible for brands such as AAMI, Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency, Just Car Insurance, Shannons and Automobile Insurance of New Zealand. Robert began his career with AAMI in 1970 and was appointed chief executive officer in May 2002. Robert has an outstanding track record in running Promina's personal lines insurance business.
