Superior knows that everyone loves a man - or woman - in uniform. Founded in 1920 and headquartered in Seminole, FL, Superior Uniform Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGC) manufactures and sells uniforms and related accessories. The company makes uniforms for hotels, commercial and residential buildings, hospitals and healthcare facilities, industry, food service facilities, airlines, banks, and others. It also makes masks, boots, sheets, and other items. Its brands include Fashion Seal, Martin's, Worklon and UniVogue. The company has annual revenue of about $133 million and employs about 720 people. In April 2006 the company received two 'Image of the Year' awards from the Career Apparel Institute (CAI) for its national apparel programs for Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts and Allied Barton Security Services.
