David Thompson serves as group president, Information Technology (IT) and Services Group at Symantec. In this role, he leads a combined services, technical support and IT organization, which is focused on better leveraging the company’s investments in IT-related services for both internal and external use. Prior to joining Symantec, Thompson was senior vice president and chief information officer for Oracle and oversaw the Global Information Technology group. Before joining Oracle, Thompson was the CIO at PeopleSoft for seven years where he led the transition to the adoption of its own Internet applications to reduce costs and improve efficiency. During his tenure, he also led PeopleSoft through the M&A integrations of both Vantive and JD Edwards. His leadership allowed the corporation to realize over $100 million in savings through IT process optimization and online business process enablement. Thompson has more than 18 years of experience in IT leadership in the high technology industry. He began his career in the United States Air Force.

In her Human Resources role, Ranninger has overseen the successful acquisition of dozens of companies, both public and private. She has also built a recruiting and staffing function that has brought over 10,000 employees into the company worldwide in the last several years. She has testified before the Securities Exchange Commission and has addressed trade and industry groups on topics ranging from document retention policies to shareholder litigation reform, to the successful integration of large workforces. Ranninger also serves as President of the Symantec Foundation, which administers Symantec's charitable activities. Before joining Symantec in 1991, Ranninger was a business litigator with the San Francisco-based law firm Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe, where she gained front line experience in intellectual property and securities litigation. Ranninger holds a juris doctorate from Stanford University, a bachelor's degree in jurisprudence from Oxford University, and a bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude from Harvard University. She has also completed the Human Resource Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, and the Stanford Directors College at Stanford Law School.

Enrique Salem is president and chief executive officer of Symantec, a global leader in providing security, storage and systems management solutions to help consumers and organizations secure and manage their information-driven world. Salem is also a member of Symantec’s board of directors.Throughout his 16-year tenure at Symantec Salem held a variety of senior management roles, giving him broad experience across Symantec’s products and operations. Most recently he served as chief operating officer, with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the company. Prior to that, he served as group president, Worldwide Sales and Marketing where he managed global sales and partner programs, marketing, communications and branding.Before joining Symantec, Salem was president and CEO of Brightmail, the leading anti-spam software company that was successfully acquired by Symantec in 2004. From 2001 to 2002, he served as senior vice president of products and technology at Oblix Inc., where he spearheaded corporate strategy and development by leading the company's engineering, product management, and technology groups. Prior to Oblix Inc., Salem was vice president of technology and operations at Ask Jeeves Inc. responsible for the engineering group and the company's entire IT operation. Salem joined Symantec in 1990 through the Peter Norton Computing acquisition and held a number of leadership positions, including vice president of security products and the company’s first chief technology officer.Earlier in his career, Salem was a vice president at Security Pacific Merchant Bank, where he led projects for the development of real-time trading systems.Salem received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Dartmouth College. He was named 2007 Corporate Executive of the Year by Hispanic Net as well as 2004 Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young.

Greg Hughes is group president of Symantec's Enterprise Product Group. In this role, he is responsible for engineering and product management for all of Symantec’s enterprise products, including market-leading products in security, storage, and data protection. Most recently, Hughes served as Chief Strategy Officer at Symantec with responsibility for the corporate development, strategy, and new business incubation functions. In his role, Hughes directed Symantec’s overall corporate strategy and product portfolio decisions. He led Symantec’s mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture investing, and strategic partnerships. In addition, Hughes’ team incubated Symantec’s early-stage businesses, such as the Symantec Protection Network, the company’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. Hughes has also served as group president of Global Services managing Symantec’s enterprise services operations. In this role, he was responsible for professional services, managed and hosted services, and technical support. In the last two years of his tenure, Symantec’s professional and managed services business grew from approximately $195 million to $350 million. Hughes’ services team achieved broad industry recognition, including receiving Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) awards for outstanding technical support. Hughes joined Symantec through the company’s merger with Veritas Software and led the integration of Symantec and Veritas’ services organizations to build a global team of thousands. Prior to Veritas, Hughes was a partner at McKinsey & Co., where he founded and led the North American Software Industry practice. Hughes’ team at McKinsey built the industry’s leading practice serving many of the world’s largest software companies. He has worked as a consultant to senior executives across a range of industries on information-based growth strategies. Prior to McKinsey, Hughes was an entrepreneur. He was the founder and CEO of Granite Microsystems, an industrial computer company, where he pioneered the use of flash memory for solid-state disk drives. Hughes holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business as well as a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In his role as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Symantec, James Beer manages Symantec’s worldwide finance organization with responsibility for accounting, financial analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations, and audit. He also leads the facilities and operations teams. Prior to joining Symantec, Beer was chief financial officer of AMR Corp. and American Airlines, responsible for financial planning and analysis, treasury, corporate development, accounting, tax, purchasing, and investor relations. He also managed American Beacon Advisors Inc., a subsidiary of AMR that manages more than $40 billion in assets. In his 15 years at American, Beer held a variety of management positions in finance and operations, including leading the airline’s European and Asia Pacific businesses. He also led, on behalf of American, the creation of the oneworld alliance, as well as the majority of American’s other international alliance relationships. In addition, he was responsible for the negotiation of multi-billion dollar acquisition transactions and the associated financing. In his corporate development role, he was responsible for American’s investments in Orbitz and Worldspan. He also led the effort to evaluate options for enhancing shareholder value which culminated in the initial public offering and eventual spin-off of the Sabre Group.Prior to joining AMR, Beer spent seven years as a management consultant at Andersen Consulting, now known as Accenture, in Europe and the United States. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College, London University and a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Mark Bregman is executive vice president and chief technology officer at Symantec, responsible for the Symantec Research Labs, Symantec Security Response and shared technologies, emerging technologies, architecture and standards, localization and secure coding, and developing the technology strategy for the company. Bregman guides Symantec’s investments in advanced research and is responsible for the company’s development centers in India and China. Additionally, Bregman leads the field technical enablement team, which works closely with the technical sales team to ensure they are prepared to assist customers in managing the impact of changing and emerging technical requirements. Bregman joined Symantec through the company’s merger with Veritas Software, where he served as chief technology officer, responsible for cross-product integration, advanced product development, merger and acquisition strategy, and the company’s engineering development centers in India and China. Prior to joining Veritas, Bregman was CEO of Airmedia, a wireless Internet firm. Previously, Bregman spent 16 years at IBM where he led the RS/6000 and Pervasive Computing divisions and held senior management positions in IBM Research and IBM Japan. He was also technical assistant to IBM CEO Lou Gerstner. Bregman holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Harvard College and a master’s degree and doctorate in physics from Columbia University. He is a member of the Visiting Committee to the Harvard University Libraries, a member of the American Physical Society, and a senior member of IEEE. He also serves on the Board of Directors of ShoreTel and the Bay Area Science and Innovation Consortium.

Paul Sangster is the Executive Director of the OpenSEA Alliance, and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the alliance. Paul Sangster serves as a Distinguished Engineer and Chief Security Standards Officer for Symantec Corporation. In this role, Sangster is defining and leading Symantec's security standards strategy and working to drive adoption of security and networking standards across the corporation. Additionally, he actively leads key standards initiatives within the company and externally in industry standards groups. He currently is a co-chair of the Trusted Computing Group's TNC work group, chair and lead editor of the Internet Engineering Task Force's NEA design team, and serves as Executive Director and founding board member of the OpenSEA Alliance. For 7 years prior to joining Symantec, Sangster was the Lead Security Architect for Sun's Solaris operating system. In this capacity, he was instrumental in the establishment of the Solaris Security Engineering organization and created the security strategy, architecture and feature set roadmap delivered in Solaris 8, 9 and 10. He also co-founded the security program office and was a technical leader for many Sun-wide security initiatives. Before joining Sun, Sangster spent 7 years creating and leading the development of the industry pioneering proxy-based firewall product, ANS InterLock. Under his leadership, InterLock established the modern single system Internet firewall market and introduced a number of market leading features including: site to site VPN, granular application-level firewall traffic controls, many-to-1 NAT and proxy-based user authentication for the web and other protocols. Sangster started his career architecting and developing highly secure (C2 and B3) operating systems and networks for the US government and NATO. Over a 6 year period, he became the technical lead for much of the trusted OS and later a large scale network-based backup system. He also worked for the Pentagon as an operating systems programmer for nearly 2 years. Sangster holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from University of Maryland and attended graduate school at George Mason University.

Scott Taylor serves as Symantec Corporation’s executive vice president, general counsel and secretary. In this role, Taylor is responsible for leading the company’s legal department and public affairs team. Most recently he was vice president, Legal, overseeing the legal team responsible for mergers and acquisitions, SEC reporting and compliance, and general corporate governance. He also supervised the public affairs team and the legal department’s procurement, human resources and compliance groups. Before joining Symantec, Taylor served as chief administrative officer, senior vice president, and general counsel of Phoenix Technologies Ltd., managing all legal, human resources, facilities and IT functions worldwide. Before that, he served as vice president and general counsel of Narus, Inc., a venture-backed private company that designs IP network management software. Taylor began his legal career as a corporate attorney with the San Francisco-based law firm Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman). Prior to law school, Taylor worked briefly as a financial economist for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He serves as a director on the corporate board of VirnetX. Taylor holds a juris doctorate from George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University.

Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan Geography Bernard Kwok is senior vice president of the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) geography, responsible for driving Symantec's sales and business development across more than 17 countries. Kwok serves as the senior leader for the overall Symantec business in Asia Pacific and Japan. Most recently, Kwok served as president of the Greater China Region, responsible for managing the company’s operations in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Kwok joined Symantec following the merger of the company with Veritas Software. At Veritas Software, Kwok was president for the Greater China Region responsible for expanding market share of Veritas’ utility computing solutions and developing the company’s core strength of storage management software, particularly in China’s burgeoning market. Kwok was previously president and CEO of Fujitsu China where he oversaw the company’s operations in China and Hong Kong. Based in China, he was in charge of developing the China strategy and providing consultations to all Fujitsu businesses. He achieved tremendous business growth and consolidated several companies under the leadership of Fujitsu China Holding Company during his tenure. Prior to this, he served as the president, Greater China of EMC Corporation, where he established EMC as a premium provider in the data storage market in China and a profitable business. He has an additional 12 years’ experience in the Greater China market having held several senior management positions at 3Com Asia Ltd, Northern Telecom (Nortel Networks) China Ltd and other multinationals. During his time at Nortel, he led the company to establish a strong foothold in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and drove many regionally recognized transactions as well as achieved significant business growth. Kwok graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in the United States with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration in 1984.

Brad Kingsbury is senior vice president of Symantec's Endpoint Security and Management group, whose mission is to leverage the Altiris management infrastructure to provide a more robust and secure environment for Symantec’s customers. Kingsbury most recently served as vice president of Symantec’s Endpoint Security and Messaging Security product groups. Prior to joining Symantec, he served as vice president of engineering at Brightmail, an anti-spam software company that was acquired by Symantec in 2004. Before Brightmail, Kingsbury was vice president of engineering and chief technical officer at McAfee.com. Prior to that, he worked as an independent consultant to a number of security and storage management software companies, including Veritas and Symantec. Kingsbury worked for Symantec earlier in his career and served as Chief Technologist from 1985 through 1996. He joined Symantec the first time through Symantec’s acquisition of Peter Norton Computing. Kingsbury was Peter Norton's first programmer as well as the sole designer and developer of the Norton Utilities. Kingsbury received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from California State University at Northridge.

Carine Clark serves as senior vice president of marketing with responsibility for global campaign and field marketing, partner and product marketing, branding and marketing communications as well as public relations and analyst relations. Clark has twenty years of experience building successful software companies. As an executive at Altiris and Novell, she was responsible for driving top and bottom-line company growth through fiscally accountable and operationally efficient marketing. Her leadership helped establish Altiris as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, growing revenues from $62 million to $230 million during a four year period. Throughout her career, Clark has directed and integrated diverse teams including product management, sales support, alliance, field and global marketing, event, brand and communications management. She has demonstrated expertise in bringing companies and people together through dozens of acquisitions with the exceptional ability to quickly promote best practices and to drive integrated teams toward common goals. Clark received a master’s degree in business administration as well as a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Brigham Young University.

Deepak Mohan is senior vice president of the Information Management Group at Symantec Corporation. He is responsible for the strategy, development and delivery of Symantec’s data protection and archiving products, including Veritas NetBackup, PureDisk, Symantec Backup Exec, Backup Exec System Recovery and Enterprise Vault. These market-leading products ensure successful backup, recovery and archiving of information and systems for organizations ranging from small business to large enterprise. The goal of the Information Management Group is to deliver products that provide data protection and system availability for Symantec customers by using the latest disk, tape, deduplication, archiving, indexing and virtual technologies. Mohan previously served as senior vice president of the Symantec Data Protection Group where he led the engineering and product management teams to successfully launch Backup Exec 12.5, Backup Exec System Recovery 8.5 and NetBackup 6.5.x. Prior to joining Symantec, Mohan held senior level engineering management positions with Veritas Software, Seagate Software, Query Object Systems, Computer Associates and Cheyenne Software. He has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry. Mohan holds a master's degree in Computer Science from New York University and a bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. India. He holds two patents in the data protection space.

James Socas serves as senior vice president of Corporate Development, leading Symantec's mergers & acquisition practice, corporate venture investing, and strategic financial and technology alliances. He is focused on positioning Symantec to capitalize on both the consolidation within the software industry and technology-driven business transformations taking place around the world. Prior to joining Symantec, Socas served as the company's advisor on several strategic initiatives including the acquisition of AXENT Technologies in 2000, which served as the catalyst for Symantec's move into the enterprise software market. As a senior banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Socas led that firm's software industry investment banking team. He was also managing director in Credit Suisse First Boston's technology group with responsibility for the software industry and where he executed Symantec's 2001 $600 million convertible bond offering. In addition to Symantec, Socas has worked with all of the leading enterprise and consumer software companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructurings. In addition to his senior positions at leading investment-banking firms, Socas has also worked as a software entrepreneur and has served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee. Socas holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia.

John Brigden is senior vice president of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) geography, responsible for driving Symantec's sales, operations, and business development across the region. He brings to this role more than fifteen years experience in sales support and legal affairs with an expertise in regulatory and compliance issues, which are topics top of mind with customers today. Brigden joined Symantec as senior vice president, general counsel through the company’s merger with VERITAS Software. At VERITAS, Brigden also served as senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary, leading all legal matters, including sales and services transactions, compliance and corporate governance, intellectual property, strategic partnerships, litigation, and M&A. Prior to joining VERITAS, Brigden held a number of management positions supporting sales and corporate development, as well as legal affairs and compliance for emerging and large technology enterprises, including Shutterfly, Inc. and Silicon Graphics, Inc. His technical background includes engineering positions at Rockwell International and General Motors Corporation. Brigden began his legal career in private practice focusing on complex commercial licensing transactions, anti-trust and intellectual property litigation. He also served as an intern with the U.S. Department of Justice. Brigden holds a J.D. degree with honors from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with honors from Purdue University. Brigden is a member of the California Bar Association and is also licensed to practice law in Virginia, Washington, D.C., and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He currently serves on the boards of both the Business Software Alliance and the Software Information Industry Association.

Rob Soderbery is senior vice president of the Storage and Availability Management Group at Symantec Corporation and oversees product management, engineering and delivery. He brings to this role 20 years of experience in product development, business leadership and entrepreneurial success. Soderbery is active with customers in ensuring the world’s mission critical IT infrastructure and largest data centers are successfully managed using storage and availability solutions from Symantec. Key products in the Storage and Availability Management Group include Veritas Storage Foundation, Veritas CommandCentral Storage and Veritas Cluster Server product lines. Each of these solutions is available across all major UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems, enabling IT organizations to reduce cost and complexity through standardization on storage and availability management solutions from Symantec. Soderbery joined Symantec through the company's merger with Veritas Software, which he joined in 2000. At Veritas, he held a wide variety of executive roles, including serving as vice president of product management for the data center solutions where he shaped the evolution of the product roadmap and go-to-market execution for the company. Prior to that, Soderbery was vice president of Strategic Alliances at Veritas, where he executed hundreds of transactions with independent software and hardware vendors (ISVs and IHVs) and channel partners. Prior to Veritas, Soderbery was an entrepreneur in the semiconductor industry, with two successful startups to his credit as a founder and early employee. He spent a number of years working with partners in the Asia Pacific region in a variety of product marketing and management roles. Soderbery’s technical background includes a stint as an ASIC developer at TRW. He holds a master’s in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Caltech.

As senior vice president, Sales, The Americas, Steven B. Messick is responsible for driving Symantec's operations across all market segments in the United States, Canada and Latin America. In addition, he leads Symantec's channel sales team, working with value-added resellers, OEM partners, and retail partners. A sales executive for 24 years, Messick has broad experience in software sales, with leadership roles in direct sales, telesales and multi-channel distribution. Prior to joining Symantec, Messick was vice president of sales for AXENT Technologies, area vice president of Sales for Inktomi Corporation, and vice president of Product Sales for Sybase, Inc. Messick has also held various senior sales management positions at Powersoft Corporation, Legent Corporation and Knowledgeware, Inc. Messick earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Va.

Arthur Wong serves as senior vice president of New Business Investments and Incubator. Wong created this group in 2008 to support the development of “startup” businesses within Symantec as a method to foster innovation and allow for the growth of embryonic businesses that will add future revenue and growth. Wong is involved in sourcing and identifying new ideas that can be developed into new business. He works with internal budding entrepreneurs to develop and execute on plans that will create new business for Symantec. Wong is also responsible for looking at external investments into private companies that have a strong strategic value for Symantec in new business areas. Prior to taking on this new role, Wong was responsible for the development and execution of customer and partner facing initiatives within the entire Symantec Security Response & Managed Services organization. Prior to joining Symantec, Wong held numerous senior positions within leading technology companies. An expert in vulnerability assessment, Wong co-founded and acted as CEO of SecurityFocus, a leading Internet security threat management company and a pioneer in the development of early warning solutions. He also co-founded and acted as CEO of Secure Networks, a leading vulnerability scanning company. Wong is a founder of five startups that were either successfully acquired or taken public. He has generated returns on investment for shareholders of up to 20 times the original investment. Wong is frequently quoted sharing his expertise on the latest security threats and identifying future trends at industry events and within the media. Additionally, Wong has been regularly called upon by Congress to provide his expert testimony on a variety of issues including cyber security, the current security threat landscape, and the overall need for increased security awareness for both consumer users and enterprises.

Ken Berryman is responsible for corporate development, strategy, and emerging businesses at Symantec. In his role, Berryman directs Symantec’s overall corporate strategy, leads Symantec’s mergers and acquisitions, corporate venture investing, and strategic partnerships. In addition, Berryman’s team leads several new businesses that include both early stage ventures and high growth, standalone businesses in dynamic new markets like virtualization.Berryman was previously responsible for driving Symantec’s overall endpoint virtualization business, including software virtualization and streaming solutions. He also led product development for the NetBackup Product Platform within the Symantec Data Center Management Group and was responsible for the NetBackup, PureDisk, and Backup Reporter product lines. Berryman joined Symantec from McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in the Silicon Valley Office. During his ten years at McKinsey, he led the North American Software Practice, and was a well-known speaker at events such as Software and Enterprise 2007, and SIAA’s Enterprise conferences. Berryman served clients across the high tech industry on a range of topics including strategy, operations, and sales effectiveness. Berryman holds both a master’s and doctorate in physics from Stanford University as well as a bachelor’s in physics from Harvard University.

Lenny Alugas is vice president of Worldwide Consumer Support at Symantec Corporation. He has over 25 years of experience in high-technology companies including several senior level management positions at Multitude, Excite@Home and Hewlett-Packard. Lenny is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and holds a degree in Physics and Mechanical engineering.

Michael Wolfe serves as chief technology officer for Symantec’s Enterprise Product Group. In this role, Wolfe is responsible for driving common technology strategy and vision, business development, engineering processes and quality, and strategic operations across Symantec’s enterprise product lines. Most recently, Wolfe served as vice president of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Solutions at Symantec where he oversaw product development, sales and professional services for the company’s DLP solutions. Wolfe joined Symantec in 2007 as part of the Vontu acquisition. Wolfe co-founded Vontu in 2001 and served as vice president of technology and support. Based on numerous successes in building industrial strength software solutions to address emerging markets, he brought strong technical leadership to the company. With a mission to reduce the risk of data loss, Vontu helped organizations ensure public confidence, demonstrate compliance and maintain competitive advantage. Before Vontu, Wolfe served as an entrepreneur in residence at Benchmark Capital. Prior to that, he founded the engineering team at Kana, Inc. in 1997 where he held the roles of vice president of engineering, chief technology officer and vice president of products in succession. During his tenure, he grew the team to 150 developers, helped support over 1000 customers and oversaw development of products generating more than $200M in revenue. His team had two patents granted and won multiple industry awards. Before joining Kana, Wolfe was the founding engineer at I/PRO, a successful internet media startup acquired by Engage, Corp. in 1999. He was previously an analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he built equity derivative trading and analytic solutions. Wolfe received both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in computer science from Stanford University.

Pat Hanavan has 25+ years experience in the computer industry, and has been with Symantec for the majority of that time. Over the course of his career at Symantec, Hanavan has held roles in engineering from lead developer, development manager, business unit director and technical director and now leads the product management team for Symantec Backup Exec. Hanavan is the Vice President of Product Management of the company’s Data and Systems Management business unit. Hanavan’s product management team is responsible for overall product direction, strategies and business performance for the Symantec Backup Exec family of products which include Backup Exec for Windows Servers, Backup Exec System Recovery and Backup Exec for NetWare. The Backup Exec products are industry leaders and they are regularly awarded by users and publications for their innovations, ease of use and performance. Prior to his product management responsibilities, Pat was responsible for the Backup Exec engineering team for many years and was a major contributor to driving technology innovations in collaboration with key partners. The technology innovations within the then VERITAS products were in the areas of SAN based backup solutions, disk based data protection methods, open file protection and alternate backup methods. Hanavan was also a founding member and active contributor to the company’s Patent Filter Committee, and is a Symantec inventor as well. Hanavan graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas with a bachelor’s degree. Hanavan also attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where he pursued a master’s degree in computer science.

Tom Powledge is the vice president of product management, consumer products division at Symantec, and he is responsible for the management of the Norton consumer product line. Powledge's team determines product strategy, analyzes industry trends, and develops solutions to address customer needs. His team is also responsible for competitive assessment, product positioning, and pricing. Powledge joined Symantec in 1995 and served in various product management positions for the Norton-brand consumer software products. He also led the product strategy teams in searching for new business opportunities for Symantec. Powledge has over 10 years experience in the software industry and holds a bachelors degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dave has been in the Technical Support for the past 23 years and in a leadership capacity for 18 years. He has always worked with large, mission critical customers during this time. He has managed support operations of various sizes and customer bases. From Mainframe/Mission Critical Client-Server environments to teams that provide support to the individual user. Until recently, Dave has been involved in a leadership role in the ongoing development of large support operation s with our industry leading backup products. Dave provides a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in the level of service delivered by his teams. Dave is the Director of Escalation Management for the Americas at Symantec Corporation. Dave's primary role is to interface with our larger customers during periods of crisis that require executive visibility. He has a strong focus on improvements in the timeliness and quality of the service experienced by his customers. Dave is process oriented and a contributor in both strategical and tactical planning in the continuous development of service and customer satisfaction . With Symantec being a company that specializes in heterogeneity, He has a vested interest in working closely with all TSANet members to build a better, more effective and efficient sharing of resources to make the customer experience the best it can be.

Kevin Isaac is the Regional Director of Symantec, Middle East and North Africa. He is responsible for growing Symantec’s business in this region and effectively increasing the company’s market share while raising awareness of Symantec and educating the market on Internet and IT security related needs. To date, Symantec has four offices in the region, with main offices in Dubai and Riyadh, and serves more than 9 countries across the region. Isaac has been with Symantec since 1999. Prior to joining Symantec, Isaac managed an IT distribution business in Central Africa. Isaac’s 20 years of developing his career has included significant experience across banking, commerce and industry, giving him a clear understanding of the issues facing businesses today. Under Isaac's leadership, the Symantec Middle East and Africa region continues to overachieve and deliver Symantec's world class Internet Security solutions, products and services to an ever growing list of clients from blue chips to individual users. This achievement is testimony to the motto Isaac lives by - ""Success is about people, people are about relationships, and relationships come about as result of effort"".

Kevin Murray serves as Senior Director of Product Marketing at Symantec and is responsible for worldwide go-to-market planning and outbound marketing programs for Symantec’s Endpoint Security products group. Specific products under his direction: Symantec AntiVirus, Symantec Client Security, Symantec Network Access Control, Symantec Sygate Enterprise Protection, Symantec On-Demand Protection, Symantec Critical System Protection and Symantec Mobile Security. Prior to re-joining Symantec in 2003, he held a variety of marketing and product management positions during his 10-year career at AOL-Time Warner, Trend Micro and previously with Symantec in 1995-1999. Most recently, Murray served as head of Trend Micro’s messaging security product marketing, and launched the company’s anti-spam initiative to market. Previous positions also include Group Product Manager for AOL-Time Warner’s Netscape Communications division, heading up efforts to create the commercial distribution of the Netscape branded client web browser suite. Murray started his high-tech career as a Marketing Programs Manager for Symantec from 1995-1999, where he managed program planning and activities for North America Marketing. Murray earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from San Jose State University (California).

Lane Johnson studied composition with Dr. Merrill Bradshaw, Dr. David Sargent, and Dr. Thomas Durham at Brigham Young University, where he received his degree in Music Composition and Theory in 1982. He also received a teaching certificate in Choral Music Education in 1986. He has taught choral music at both the Junior High and High School levels and has conducted various church choirs as well. Mr. Johnson's compositions have been performed by choirs across America, including The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Brigham Young University, Northern Arizona University, Minnesota State University, Mankato, University of Wisconsin-Superior, and many other universities, as well as many Jr. High and High Schools. Two of his more recent pieces, "Sweet Love Remember'd" and "Snowflakes" (both published by Walton Music) were performed at the 2005 National ACDA Convention in Los Angeles and the 2006 Western ACDA Convention in Salt Lake City. He has been commissioned to write pieces for Brigham Young University Singers and the Northern Arizona University Shrine of the Ages choir. Lane is a member of the American Choral Director's Association (ACDA). In addition to his free-lance work as a composer, he currently works as a Director of Software Development for Symantec Corporation. He is married to Marcia Skousen Johnson and lives near Salt Lake City, Utah.

As vice president of Marketing for Symantec’s consumer products in Asia Pacific and Japan, Edwards leads the development of marketing strategy and programs for the consumer marketplace across the region. Her responsibilities extend across all channels, including distribution and online, and target both end-user consumers and business partners. A long-time Symantec employee and veteran of the Asia Pacific region, Edwards began her tenure at Symantec in 1996 as public relations manager for Asia Pacific. She then went on to lead teams in international marketing, market research and analyst relations. Prior to joining Symantec, Edwards worked at public relations firms in Silicon Valley, CA and Tokyo, Japan. She also served as vice president of Marketing at Kurant Corporation, an e-commerce software company delivering website and e-commerce solutions to the small business market. Edwards holds a degree in Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley.

Charlie joined Acterra's board in 2004 and is currently the board tresurer. Charlie has a long and deep background in the technology industry and currently is a Strategic Alliance Manager at Symantec Corporation. He was raised in Connecticut, spent all his summers in Canada out in the woods and has been an avid outdoorsman and environmentalist for as long as he can remember.

Mr. Strutner joined the WCH Board in 2005. He is Regional Manager of at Symantec Corporation, a global leader in infrastructure and security software. He is considered to be on the forefront of the hi-tech industry specializing in Software Sales Management. Mr. Strutner has previously held management positions at Oracle, Hewlett Packard and IBM/Tivoli Corporations and has worked on several start-up technology ventures in the Software industry. Mr. Strutner has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Diego State University. He participates in national and local civic activities and serves as a volunteer for several non-profit corporations including the local chapter of the YMCA, the Queen of Hearts Foundation and Angel Flight. He has a private pilot's license and is a member of both the Civil Air Patrol and Angel Flight.

Kimberly Brown is a member of the Finance and Development Committees. Ms. Brown is a Business Analyst in Global Sales Operations for Symantec Corporation. She earned her MBA from Rice University.

I joined Symantec April of 1997, ten years ago. I found a position advertised on “Monster.com” and called Henri Isenberg (an old friend) to learn more about the company and the job. I was a freshman at Boston University, studying business management. I lived in the same dormitory as the ice hockey team and quickly became a big fan of the sport, holding season seats for all my four years!

William T. Coleman was appointed to the Board of Directors in January 2003. Mr. Coleman is a co-founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Cassatt Corporation, a provider of solutions to automate information technology operations. Previously Mr. Coleman was co-founder of BEA Systems, Inc. where he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from the company s inception in 1995 until August 2002, and was Chief Strategy Officer from October 2001 to August 2002, and as Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to October 2001. Prior to founding BEA, Mr. Coleman was employed by Sun Microsystems, Inc. from 1985 to January 1995, where his last position was Vice President and General Manager of its Sun Professional Services. Mr. Coleman holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Air Force Academy, and a Masters of Science degree from Stanford University.

Dan also served as the chief executive officer of priceline.com, where he established one of the most popular and recognized brands on the Internet, and was a primary architect in driving the company to profitability. Prior to joining priceline.com, Dan served more than 18 years at AT&T, rising to become the youngest member of the company's most senior executive team, the AT&T Operations Group. He was president of the $22 billion core consumer long distance business. Dan was named by Business Week as one of the top 20 people to watch in the media industry. He was also recently named as one of the top 25 most powerful people in the global wireless industry. Dan is a member of the Board of Directors of Symantec (SYMC-NASDAQ) where he chairs the Compensation Committee. He serves on the executive committee of the Board of Trustees of Rutgers University. He is also on the board of Autism Speaks and the advisory committee of Greycroft, a private equity company focused on early stage new media and technology companies.

Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Thomson S.A. Frank E. Dangeard joined Symantec's board of directors in January 2007. He was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Thomson S.A. from September 2004 until March 2008. From 2002 to September 2004, Dangeard was Senior Executive Vice President of France Telecom and non-executive Chairman of Thomson. He joined Thomson in 1997 as Senior Executive Vice President and became a member of the Thomson board of directors in March 1999 and was appointed vice chairman in 2001. During his tenure at Thomson, Dangeard laid the foundation for future high growth in the digital media and technology business. Prior to joining Thomson, Dangeard was managing director of SG Warburg & Co. Ltd and chairman of SBC Warburg France. Before joining SG Warburg & Co. Ltd, Dangeard was a lawyer with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and London. Dangeard also serves on the board of french electricity company, "Electricite de France" (EDF) and Sonae SGPS, S.A. He graduated from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, the Paris Institut d'Etudes Politiques and from Harvard Law School. Dangeard is a member of the New York Bar and splits his time between France and the United States.

Dr. Brown has nearly 30 years experience in the Defense Industry, initially as an Army officer and more recently as a senior analyst and manager at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Hicks and Associates. During his Army career, Dr. Brown served as an infantry officer with operational assignments in the Berlin Brigade and the 82nd Airborne Division. He was also a faculty member of the Social Sciences Department at the United States Military Academy where he taught courses on international relations theory, international security issues and economics. Later in his military career, Dr. Brown served as a special or military assistant to senior decision makers in the Department of Defense, including the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe (SACEUR), the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (ASA M&RA), the Army's Chief of Legislative Liaison and the Director of Net Assessment in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. When he came to SAIC, Dr. Brown worked on studies associated with the emerging security environment, the Revolution in Military Affairs information operations, in particular and Military Transformation. He also worked on several classified projects whose goal was understanding the economic dimensions of strategy. Currently, Dr. Brown is a Senior Vice President of Hicks and Associates (a wholly owned subsidiary of SAIC). Prior to this he was Director of the Strategic Assessment Center at H&AI and SAIC. The Strategic Assessment Center conducts studies and analyses of issues associated with strategy, policy and military transformation primarily for clients in the Office of Net Assessment in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Intelligence Community, the Experimentation Directorate of the Joint Forces Command, the Concept Development and Experimentation branch of Allied Command Transformation and the individual Services.
