Mr. Reynolds has served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Corporate Secretary since April 2005. Prior to April 2005, Mr. Reynolds served as Director of Finance from September 2003. From October 2001 to September 2003, Mr. Reynolds served in several financial positions at Chiquita Processed Foods, LLC, a division of Chiquita Brands International, ultimately serving as Corporate Controller. From 1991 to 2001, Mr. Reynolds held a series of audit, accounting and consulting positions with Deloitte and Touche LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.

Ms. Frick has served as Vice President of Regulatory/Clinical/Quality Affairs of the Company since November 2003. She has previously served in several positions within the surgical business, including Vice President of Regulatory/Clinical/Quality Affairs since November 2000, Director of Regulatory/Clinical/Quality Affairs since November 1998 and as Group Manager of Regulatory/Clinical/Quality Affairs from June to November of 1998. From 1984 to June 1998, Ms. Frick held a series of management positions in Research, Operations and Regulatory/Clinical Affairs at INCSTAR Corporation, a diagnostic medical device manufacturer. From 1979 to 1984, Ms. Frick worked in research at the University of Minnesota-Medical School.

Mr. Seaberg has more than 30 years of experience in the medical technology field. Currently, he serves as chairman and CEO of NeoChord Inc., an early-stage company developing cardiac surgery technology for minimally invasive mitral valve repair. He previously held positions with Guidant (now part of Boston Scientific Corporation), including sales and marketing executive management positions in its cardiac surgery, peripheral interventional and cardiac rhythm management business units. Prior to joining Guidant, Seaberg was the founder and first CEO of ACIST Medical Inc. He was also the founder and sole owner of Seaberg Medical Inc., a distributor of cardiovascular implantable products. Seaberg serves on the board of Cardia Access Inc. and the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. He received bachelor's and MBA degrees from the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Palma has served on the Board of the Company since 2004. He is a partner at Hinshaw & Cullberston LLP, a Chicago-based law firm, where he specializes in corporate and business law. He has extensive business and taxation experience, and is a certified public accountant. He received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law, and a master’s in business administration from Minnesota State University. Mr. Palma serves on the Board of Directors of Allen Interactions, Inc., Tri-State Drilling, Inc. and Aloe Up International, LLC., each of which are privately held companies. He is a former chair of the Hennepin County, Minnesota Bar Association Tax Section.

Sven A. Wehrwein has been a director of our company since August 2006. He has over 25 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of InStent Inc. and Digi International. Since 1999, he has provided financial-consulting services to emerging growth companies. Mr. Wehrwein also serves on the Board of Directors of Vital Images, Inc., Synovis Life Technologies, Inc., Image Sensing Systems, Inc. and Van Wagoner Funds, Inc. He holds a Masters of Management degree in Finance from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant.

William Kobi, President and Chief Executive Officer : After attending perfusion school at Baylor University in Houston Texas, Mr.Kobi spent eight years working at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Colorado Medical School as a clinical perfusionist. Mr. Kobi began his business career at Baxter Travenol Laboratories in Chicago, Illinois. He has been involved in the medical device industry for over thirty years, making contributions to the success of some of the industry's leading companies. From 1976 to 1989, Mr. Kobi worked at SciMed Life Systems in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a pioneer in the area of membrane oxygenators and a world leader in the field of angioplasty catheters. During his years at SciMed, Mr. Kobi led the sales efforts in the positions of Director of Sales, Director of Marketing, Director of International, Vice President of International, and, most recently as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for its cardiovascular division. SciMed was sold to Boston Scientific in 1992. Mr. Kobi is on the Board of Directors of Synovis Life Technologies, a publicly held medical device manufacturer located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Kobi left his own non-medical business in Northern Minnesota to found AHS.
