(NASDAQ: SYNO), formerly Bio-Vascular, Inc., is a diversified medical device company engaged in developing, designing, manufacturing and bringing to market medical devices for the surgical and interventional treatment of disease. Synovis Life Technologies' (Synovis LT) surgical device businesses include Synovis Surgical Innovations (Synovis SI) and Synovis Micro Companies Alliance (Synovis MCA). Synovis SI provides implantable, biomaterial devices designed to reduce risks of critical surgeries leading to better patient outcomes and lowering cost. This group also develops, manufactures and markets surgical tools to facilitate these surgeries. Synovis MCA provides devices and products used across several surgical specialties in the niche microsurgery market.

Mr. Seaberg has more than 30 years of experience in the medical technology field. Currently, he serves as chairman and CEO of NeoChord Inc., an early-stage company developing cardiac surgery technology for minimally invasive mitral valve repair. He previously held positions with Guidant (now part of Boston Scientific Corporation), including sales and marketing executive management positions in its cardiac surgery, peripheral interventional and cardiac rhythm management business units. Prior to joining Guidant, Seaberg was the founder and first CEO of ACIST Medical Inc. He was also the founder and sole owner of Seaberg Medical Inc., a distributor of cardiovascular implantable products. Seaberg serves on the board of Cardia Access Inc. and the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. He received bachelor's and MBA degrees from the University of Minnesota.

William Kobi, President and Chief Executive Officer : After attending perfusion school at Baylor University in Houston Texas, Mr.Kobi spent eight years working at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Colorado Medical School as a clinical perfusionist. Mr. Kobi began his business career at Baxter Travenol Laboratories in Chicago, Illinois. He has been involved in the medical device industry for over thirty years, making contributions to the success of some of the industry's leading companies. From 1976 to 1989, Mr. Kobi worked at SciMed Life Systems in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a pioneer in the area of membrane oxygenators and a world leader in the field of angioplasty catheters. During his years at SciMed, Mr. Kobi led the sales efforts in the positions of Director of Sales, Director of Marketing, Director of International, Vice President of International, and, most recently as Vice President of Worldwide Sales for its cardiovascular division. SciMed was sold to Boston Scientific in 1992. Mr. Kobi is on the Board of Directors of Synovis Life Technologies, a publicly held medical device manufacturer located in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mr. Kobi left his own non-medical business in Northern Minnesota to found AHS.
