Bharat Desai is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Syntel (NASDAQ: SYNT), a global provider of integrated Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions. Bharat co-founded Syntel in 1980 and today, it is a "Partner of Choice" to some of the world's best known brands. Syntel currently employs more than 9,200 people globally and has a market capitalization in excess of $1.6 billion.

Arvind Godbole was appointed Chief Financial Officer in December 2006 after being appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer in June 2006. Mr. Godbole was appointed the Company’s Chief Information Security Officer in June 2006. He has been with the Company as Corporate Controller since March 2001 and had also been a member of the Procurement Team along with his usual functions as a controller.

Paritosh K. Choksi, age 55, joined ATEL in 1999 as a director, senior vice president and its chief financial officer. He became its executive vice president and CFO/COO in April 2001. Prior to joining ATEL, Mr. Choksi was chief financial officer at Wink Communications, Inc. from 1997 to 1999. From 1977 to 1997, Mr. Choksi was with Phoenix American Incorporated, a financial services and management company, where he held various positions during his tenure, and was senior vice president, chief financial officer and director when he left the company. Mr. Choksi was involved in all corporate matters at Phoenix and was responsible for Phoenix s capital market needs. He also served on the credit committee overseeing all corporate investments, including its venture lease portfolio. Mr. Choksi was a part of the executive management team which caused Phoenix s portfolio to increase from $50 million in assets to over $2 billion. Mr. Choksi is a member of the board of directors of Syntel, Inc. Mr. Choksi received a bachelor of technology degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay; and an M.B.A. degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

Anil Jain was appointed as Business Unit Head and Senior Vice President, Insurance Vertical in February 2006. Mr. Jain has been with Syntel since 1993 serving in a number of client relationship and IT service delivery capacities.

R.S. Ramdas was appointed as Senior Vice President, Finance and Corporate Services in July 2006 and became a member of the leadership team in February 2006. Mr. Ramdas served as Vice President of Syntel from March 2004 to January 2006.

Murlidhar Reddy was appointed as Vice President and Operations Head, Healthcare and Life Sciences Vertical in July 2006 and has been with Syntel since November 2003 serving in various IT service delivery capacities.

Neerja Sethi, age 52, is a co-founder of Syntel and has served as a Vice President and a director since Syntel's formation in 1980. Ms. Sethi is the spouse of Mr. Desai.

Srikanth Karra was appointed as Syntel’s Vice-President—Global Human Resources in March 2005. Prior to joining Syntel, Mr. Karra served as HR Head for India and Global Leader for Staffing and Relationship Development at GE Capital International Services, a global diversified financial services company, from 2001 to 2005.

Mukesh Jha was appointed as Business Unit Head Diversified and Telecom Vertical in September 2008. Prior to joining Syntel, Mr. Jha served as General Manager and North American Delivery Head for Wipro Technologies Banking and Financial Services Business Unit from September 2005 to July 2008. Wipro Technologies is a provider of information technology services. From October 2004 to September 2005, Mr. Jha was a Consulting Director for the software services unit of Novell Software India Pvt. Ltd., a software and information technology services provider.

Vasant Raval , age 69, joined Creighton University in 1981 and has been a faculty member in the Department of Accounting since then. From January 2001 to June 2006, Dr. Raval also served as the Chair of the Department of Accounting. Dr. Raval has also served as Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Programs at Creighton s College of Business Administration. Dr. Raval has been a director of Syntel since January 2004.

Paul Donovan, age 60, served most recently as Executive Vice President and CIO for ING Americas, a subsidiary of financial services giant ING serving the US, Canada, and Latin America. Prior to that, he held several CIO and executive positions at Fidelity Investments, led a consulting practice at Coopers and Lybrand, and was the founder and principal for a software and services company, Advanced Information Management Inc. Mr. Donovan is a sought-after speaker for technology and financial services events, and led seminars at the undergraduate and graduate level. He received the Insurance and Technology Elite 2002 award and was recognized by the CIO Forum as one of the top Financial Services IT Executives. Mr. Donovan holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and is a former U.S. Army officer.

Prashant Ranade, age 54, served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Group Logistics and Assembly Systems, NA (currently Dematic GmbH & Co. KG), a company that is principally involved in material handling logistics and automation, from May 2003 to November 2006. Mr. Ranade continues to serve on the board of directors at Dematic. From January 1999 to May 2003, Mr. Ranade was Senior Vice President of the Service group of Siemens Medical, which is principally involved in designing tic imaging equipment and hospital information systems. He was elected to the Syntel board in 2007.
