Mr. Anand Sen is currently Vice President (Flat Products) of Tata Steel. This is the largest Profit Centre of the Company. He is also the Chairman of the Tubes Business and provides supervision to the Agrico and Retail Initiative Profit Centre. Currently as the Company has embarked on its journey towards challenging the Deming Award, he is also responsible for TQM promotion in the Company. He is the Chairman of Tayo Rolls Limited (Rs. 247 crore Company) and director on the Boards of The Tinplate Company of India Limited, Tata Ryerson and Tata BlueScope Limited. Professionally, Anand has done his B Tech from IIT, Kharagpur and has thereafter done his MBA from IIM, Kolkata. He has also done his executive MBA from CEDEP at INSEAD. He used to be a keen cricketer and enjoys a healthy debate. He has spent a large part of his career in the area of Marketing & Sales, Strategy and Business Leadership. In fact, Anand has spent considerable energy in developing a dedicated steel distribution channel for the first time in the country. He has also enabled Tata Steel to launch a series of branded steels which today account for a turnover of almost Rs. 3000 crore per annum. On the business to business side, he has been closely associated with the Automotive Industry and helped establish Tata Steel as a leading supplier of Automotive Steels in the country. Anand has authored number of papers and journals and has been awarded with the Essar Gold Medal of the Indian Institute of Metals in 2004. He has been the Chairman of the Living Steel project of IISI, which is a global body to promote usage of steel in construction. Anand resides in Jamshedpur with a family consisting of his wife and two children. He looks forward to exciting time in the Steel Industry.

Job title: Group Chief Executive Education: University of Edinburgh PH.D Geology 1982 Career: Tony joined BP in 1982 and, following a series of technical and commercial roles in BP exploration in London, Aberdeen, Glasgow, France and China, in 1992 he moved to Colombia as exploration manager. In 1995, he became president of the BP group in Venezuela. In 1997, Tony returned to London as a director of BP exploration and in 1999, following the merger of BP and Amoco, he became a group vice president and a member of the upstream executive committee. He was appointed group treasurer in 2000, where his responsibilities included global treasury operations, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He was appointed an executive vice president in 2002, becoming chief executive officer for exploration and production later that year. He succeeded Lord Browne as group chief executive in May 2007.
