Donald W. Pratt, Jr. Don Pratt is responsible for all worldwide finance, legal, facility and information systems functions at Ellacoya. Don has 25 years of financial leadership experience. Most recently he was VP of Finance for the Switching Division of Tekelec, which acquired Taqua, Inc. in early 2004 where Don was CFO since 1998 and held both CEO and CFO positions in 2001 and 2002. During his tenure at Taqua, a provider of next generation Class 5 packet switching platforms for telecom service providers, the company raised in excess of $120 million from top-tier venture capital firms prior to its acquisition. Before Taqua, Don was CFO of Crosby Valve Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of FMC where he had worldwide finance responsibility. He also served as CFO for Boston Whaler, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Reebok International Ltd., providing leadership and direction to the company during its acquisition by MacAndrews & Forbes in 1992. Don began his career at Texas Instruments where he held several positions of increasing responsibility from 1981 to 1986. Don holds a Master of Business Administration Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, both from Babson College.

William H. Everett joined Tekelec as a result of Tekelec’s acquisition of Steleus in October 2004. He has had significant experience as both a chief financial officer and a general manager working with a variety of multi-national technology companies during the past 20 years. At Steleus, Mr. Everett served as executive vice president and CFO and was responsible for the worldwide finance and administration functions of the Company. Prior to Steleus, Mr. Everett was vice president of finance and administration and CFO of Chemfab Corporation, a publicly traded manufacturer. He also has held executive and senior finance positions at several high technology companies, including Epsilon Data Management, Eastman Software and Wang Software.

Mr. Ravi Ravishankar, Director, Product Marketing, Tekelec has over 26 years of telecom and networking experience working in Europe, Asia and Americas. During his career, he has held leadership positions in marketing, product management, business development and strategic planning. He is a pioneer architect of several successful Telecom and Networking solutions including LAN/WAN, ISDN, stand alone STP, Number Portability, IP Signaling, Softswitch and has 18 patents plus multiple patents pending.
He is one of the founding-members of the International Softswitch Consortium (now named the IMS Forum) and was elected to serve on its Technical Advisory Council (TAC). He was actively involved in defining Industry standards, has chaired panels and spoken at numerous industry events and his work has been published in a variety of industry reports and trade journals.
He holds a master degree in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Frank Plastina was appointed President and CEO of Tekelec in February 2006. He brings more than 19 years of senior executive and management experience in the telecommunications industry with companies including Proxim Corporation, Warburg Pincus LLC and Nortel Networks Corporation. Prior to joining Tekelec, Mr. Plastina was executive in residence at Warburg Pincus, where he was responsible for evaluating potential investments and providing executive support to its portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Plastina was executive chairman of Proxim, a provider of Wi-Fi and broadband wireless access products. During Mr. Plastina’s 15-year career at Nortel, he held a series of executive-level positions in the company’s Wireless, Internet Service Providers, Signaling Solutions, Mergers & Acquisitions and Finance Groups. Most recently, he was president of Nortel’s multi-billion dollar Metro and Enterprise Networks business unit, in which he led the successful development and marketing of the company’s VoIP products to service providers, enterprises and government entities.
