Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa, Telkom SA Limited (NYSE: TKG (ADR) Johannesburg: TKG) is South Africa's largest telecommunications provider. The company has about 4.7 million fixed lines, and its Vodacom subsidiary counts about 1.76 million mobile phone customers. It offers voice and data services, VoIP, directory services, and more to consumers and businesses. The company has annual revenue of about $6.9 billion and employs about 28,972 people. The South African government owns about 40% of the shares.

Leapeetswe "Papi" Molotsane is the Former Chief Executive Officer of Telkom SA, a position he held from 2005 to 2007. Prior to joining Telkom, he was the group executive of Transnet from February 2003 to August 2005 and chief executive officer of Fedics from January 1999 to January 2003. Mr. Molotsane has a broad-based professional background in engineering, systems, operations, sales, marketing and human resources. Mr. Molotsane is currently a director of South Africa's America's Cup Challenge and a director of Vodacom. Previously he acted as a director of Arivia.kom, and Fike Investment (Pty) Limited.
