Dan Greenwell became Terra’s Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer in August 2007. He joined the company in April 2005 as Vice President, Controller.
Dan served as the Corporate Controller for Belden, Inc. from 2001 to 2005 and was primarily responsible for acquisition analysis and financial system integration. He also led SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities.
Dan was Chief Financial Officer for Zoltek Companies, Inc. from 1996 to 2001. There, he led financial activities related to investor relations, financing, acquisition negotiation and integration, and SEC reporting.
From 1992 to 1996, Dan served as Operations Manager and Controller of Sigma Chemical Company in St. Louis. He was heavily involved with chemical plant operations, inventory management and new system implementation.
Dan was a Senior Manager with the public accounting firm KPMG from 1985 to 1992. His experience included a two-year assignment in The Netherlands Antilles, where he focused on offshore finance and banking activities.
Dan earned a B.S. in Accounting from Truman State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dan has well-rounded international experience with acquisition negotiation, financing, and integration execution in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Dan has a passion for process improvement and strongly advocates technology utilization. He provides information technology experience in some of the leading software platforms, including SAP and Oracle.

Joe Giesler is Terra’s Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations. He has spent the past 27 years in the agriculture and chemical industries and joined Terra when the company purchased Agricultural Minerals Corporation in 1994.
Joe earned a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1980. Throughout his career at Terra and predecessor companies, he has held management positions that have resulted in broad knowledge in sales, operations, marketing and all factors that influence the markets in which Terra operates.
As an outcome-focused leader, Joe has made valuable contributions to Terra as a senior manager for several years. He is knowledgeable in the ins and outs of the nitrogen business and is a very quick study. Terra benefits from Joe’s focused management of the energy and product distribution functions, in addition to his oversight of product demand/supply planning functions.

John Huey has been Terra’s Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since October 2006. John was previously general counsel of an international manufacturing company and most recently in private practice with a large Kansas City-based law firm.
John graduated with honors with a B.S. in Business and Accounting from the University of Kansas and he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law.
John brings to Terra a wealth of experience in managing the legal affairs of a publicly traded manufacturing company with international operations. John is skilled in a broad range of corporate and commercial law subjects, including SEC, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, distribution, construction, and employment and has worked with management and Boards of Directors of public companies on a wide variety of issues pertaining to corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Richard Sanders Jr. has been Terra’s Vice President, Manufacturing since July 2003. He joined Terra with the company’s purchase of Agricultural Minerals and Chemicals Inc. in 1994.
Richard earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 1980. He was a Production Engineer for Agrico for five years, then moved into management positions in the company’s nitrogen and phosphate operations. In 1993, Richard became Plant Manager at Terra’s Beaumont, Texas, methanol manufacturing facility. From 1995 through June 2003, he was Plant Manager at Terra’s Verdigris, Oklahoma nitrogen manufacturing facility.
Richard operates from a core set of values and morals, an integrity developed from his common sense upbringing, education, and plant experience. His decisions and actions are always an extension of these key principals. He leads by example and fosters a “roll up your sleeves and get to work” style that helps employees understand that anything is possible. Richard’s decisions represent what is in the best interest of Terra and its employees. These traits make his leadership style very effective and consistent, allowing those working for him to adopt these same key principals as a respectful extension of his style.
Anne H. Lloyd is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Martin Marietta Materials. Ms. Lloyd has served as CFO since June 2005 and
was elected Treasurer in March 2006.
Ms. Lloyd joined the Company in 1998 as Vice President and Controller. She was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer in 1999. Before joining Martin Marietta
Materials, she was with Ernst & Young, LLP, an international public accounting firm.
Ms. Lloyd is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a
Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Lloyd is active in various business, education and civic organizations. She currently serves as Treasurer, member of the Executive Committee and Board
Member of the National Stone Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA). She also serves on the SAFETEA-LU Reauthorization Committee of the NSSGA and the Blue
Ribbon Panel of Transportation Experts for the National Surface Transportation Policy and Revenue Study Commission. Ms. Lloyd is a Board Member of the North
Carolina Chamber of Commerce and serves on its Finance and Audit Committee. She is also a Member of the NC Chamber Infrastructure and Economic Development
Policy Committee. Ms. Lloyd is a Board Member of Terra Nitrogen Company, L.P. and serves as the chair of its Audit Committee.
