ThinkEngine Networks, Inc. is a leading provider of TDM and IP capable conferencing bridges and media servers. The VSR1000 includes both TDM and IP interfaces as standard equipment and is capable of processing 968 simultaneous sessions in a compact 1U platform. This NEBS 3 certified platform has been deployed by customers to implement reservationless conferencing, prepaid calling, and IVR applications. The Company's CX Series -Exchange Network Media Servers are a cost-effective and highly scalable family of carrier-class media server platforms. They deliver advanced network media solutions in VoIP networks as well as in traditional AIN and TDM circuit switched and mixed network environments. ThinkEngine is a disruptive force in the marketplace ? drastically reducing the cost of implementation while giving customers a migration path from TDM to VoIP. It was formerly known as Cognitronics Corp. and changed its name to ThinkEngine Networks, Inc. in 2006.

Prior to joining ThinkEngine Networks in late 2000, Paul Gagne was Chief Technology Officer at SoundBite Communications, a voice communications services company. While at SoundBite he was responsible for driving the strategy and architectural direction for the company's innovative voice messaging service. Before SoundBite, Gagne served as Executive Vice President of Engineering of Whitecap Development Corporation. Preceding Whitecap, as Executive Vice President of Engineering at Voicetek, Gagne was instrumental in setting new strategy, securing funding and finally in the merger with Aspect Communications. Subsequent to the merger, Gagne served as Vice President of Strategic Architecture and Technology for Aspect. Gagne started his career in research and development at Wang Laboratories before he began at SoftPert Systems, a company focused on AI and object oriented technology, as Vice President of Software Development. He holds an M.S.E. degree from Boston University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Massachusetts State College.
