Thor Industries Incorporated (NYSE: THO) is a recreation vehicle and small and mid-sized bus manufacturer and distributor. It manufactures motor homes and travel trailers for towing passenger automobiles, pickup trucks or vans. Travel trailers have self contained living facilities for short periods of time. The company also makes buses for transit, airport car rentals, hotel and motel shuttles, and others. Founded in 1980 and based in Jackson Center, OH, the company employs about 8,200 people and has revenue of $2.6 billion. In 2005, Thor became the largest US mid-size bus manufacturer after acquiring Goshen Coach.

Christian G. Farman, age 49, has been with the Company since May 2008 serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Farman, served as Chief Financial Officer of Deutsch, a leading manufacturer of electrical connectors, from May 2006 to May 2007. Prior to that, from 1989 to 2001, Mr. Farman was employed by Vivendi North America (previously Anjou International), a water treatment and environmental services company, which he joined as Controller and was ultimately promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Vivendi North America, he was employed as a senior audit manager at Price Waterhouse (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP), where he worked from 1979 to 1989. Mr. Farman is a Certified Public Accountant.
