Brian Farrell is president and CEO of THQ Inc., a leading interactive entertainment software publisher. Under his leadership, THQ reported record revenues of $1.03 billion in its fiscal year ended March 31, 2008. Since Farrell became CEO in 1995, he has grown THQ's global marketing and sales force to directly serve more than 75 countries worldwide with offices located throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. His tenure at THQ also includes the expansion of the Company's internal development network, both from organic growth and several strategic studio acquisitions. THQ also holds a minority interest in wrestling game developer Yuke's Co. Ltd. of Japan.
Farrell has guided THQ to market leadership in the fighting category with games based on World Wrestling Entertainment®, and recently added the Ultimate Fighting Championship® to expand on this leadership. THQ also publishes games based on some of the industry's best-known licenses, including, Disney-Pixar, DreamWorks, Marvel and Nickelodeon. At the same time, the Company is enhancing its product offering with original content such as Company of Heroes®, de Blob®, Frontlines , MX vs ATV , Red Faction®, Saints Row and others.
Farrell has served as chairman of the Entertainment Software Association, the industry's trade association. He has also served as co-chairman of the industry's charitable foundation, which has raised over $7 million for children's charities. Farrell has served as chairman of the Price Center for Entrepreneurial studies at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, and is a member of the Board of Visitors of the school as well.
Farrell joined THQ in April 1991, as vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, and was appointed to his current position in January 1995. Prior to joining THQ, he was vice president and chief financial officer of Hotel Investors Trust, a New York Stock Exchange company. Previously, he was employed by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Farrell holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Bill Goodmen serves as executive vice president of human resources and administration. In this position, Goodmen directs THQ’s human resources and general administration functions through the Company’s continued growth. Including a long tenure at ARCO, he brings more than 20 years of experience to his role including senior management level recruiting, global growth and integration programs, as well as the creation of human resources policies and practices. Most recently, Goodmen served as executive vice president of human resources at Liberty Livewire Corporation where he assisted in recruiting a number of key senior management positions and assisted in organizing the company’s operations to best support its business strategies. Prior to that, he was a director at executive search firm Spencer Stuart, developing their Southern California Industrial Practice as well as their Human Resources Practice. Goodmen holds a bachelor's degree from Colgate University and an MS from Syracuse University.

"Jack Sorensen (age 47) was appointed Executive Vice President, Worldwide Studios in September 2001.
Mr. Sorensen manages internal and external product development and studio acquisitions. From June 2000
to September 2001, Mr. Sorensen was President and Chief Executive Officer of Swan Systems, Inc., a
private, venture-funded software company serving the advertising and marketing industries. Between
March and May 2000, Mr. Sorensen was Executive in Residence at Crosspoint Venture Partners, a venture
firm. From February 1991 to January 2000, Mr. Sorensen was employed at LucasArts Entertainment
Company, an entertainment software developer and publisher, serving variously as head of operations,
international, product development and as General Manager. From April 1995 to January 2000,
Mr. Sorensen served as President of LucasArts. Mr. Sorensen holds a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis
University and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

Jim Kennedy joined THQ in January 2003 as senior vice president of business and legal affairs and was appointed Corporate Secretary in August 2003. In his position, Jim manages the Company’s content acquisition activities and legal affairs. Kennedy’s tenure in the interactive entertainment industry spans more than a decade. Most recently, he held the position of vice president, business affairs at Electronic Arts, where he was responsible for negotiating and enforcing contracts with major content licensors, including sports leagues, professional athletes, motion picture studios, music companies and celebrity talent. Prior to this position, Kennedy served as vice president and general counsel for interactive software publisher Mindscape. Before joining Mindscape, Kennedy held the positions of vice president and general counsel at LucasArts Entertainment Company and Lucas Digital Ltd, the diversified entertainment companies owned by filmmaker George Lucas.
Kennedy began his legal career representing entertainment industry clients with the Century City, California office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He received his law degree from Boston College Law School, his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Dominican University of California.

Ian Curran is our Executive Vice President, International. He was promoted to Executive Vice President in August 2007, from Senior Vice President, a title he held since December 2004. In this position, Curran reports directly to THQ President and CEO Brian Farrell and oversees THQ's EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia-Pacific operations. Under Curran's leadership, THQ's international sales have more than doubled and he has overseen the expansion of the company's global operations to include nine direct sales offices outside of the Americas.
From October 2003 to December 2004, Curran served as Vice President, European Publishing. Previously, he was Managing Director responsible for all the publishing activities within the United Kingdom and Export divisions. From December 1998 to September 2000, Mr. Curran served as UK General Manager for Acclaim Entertainment Ltd and was responsible for all sales, marketing and finance activities. Mr. Curran joined Acclaim in January 1997 as UK Sales Director. Prior to joining Acclaim, Mr. Curran served as Head of European Sales for Warner Interactive International (Time Warner Inc). Mr. Curran was previously employed as Buying Director for Future Zone Stores Limited (Part of Rhino Group PLC - now trading as Game PLC). His responsibilities included being a member of the main Board of Directors.

Brian Dougherty has been a director since November 2002. Mr. Dougherty is the founder and CEO of Airena, Inc., a software development company. Prior to Airena, he was the Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Wink Communications, a provider of end-to-end interactive television services to the cable and satellite industries that he founded in 1995 and sold to Liberty Media in 2002. Mr. Dougherty also founded Geoworks in 1983; over his ten year tenure as CEO of Geoworks, the company developed video games for consoles and PCs, productivity software and operating systems for PCs and operating systems and applications for mobile phones. His first company, Imagic, developed games for various consoles including Atari, Intellivision, Colecovision, and Commodore 64, and was purchased by Activision in 1984. Mr. Dougherty has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He is a member of the following public and private boards: Neomagic Corporation, Planetweb, and Airena.

James L. Whims has been a director since April 1997. Since 1996, Mr. Whims has been a Managing Director of TechFund Capital I, L.P., TechFund Capital II, L.P., and since 2001, TechFund Capital Europe, venture capital firms concentrating on high-technology enterprises. Jeffrey Griffiths joined THQ’s Board in October 2005. Griffiths was president and CEO of video game retailer Electronics Boutique Holdings Corp from 2001 through 2005 when the company merged with GameStop Corp. Griffiths’ career at Electronics Boutique spanned more than 20 years. He served as vice president and senior vice president of Merchandising, Marketing and Distribution for Electronic Boutique from 1987 to 1996 and from 1996 to 2001, respectively. Griffiths holds an M.B.A. from Temple University and a BA from Albright College. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Albright College and the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Academies Inc.
