TLSI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telephonics Corporation, which is a division of Griffon Corporation. Griffon Corporation (NYSE-GFF) is a diversified corporation located in Jericho (Long Island) New York, with a total annual sales exceeding $1.2B. TLSI began in 1977 as the LSI division of Telephonics, supporting the in-house custom IC needs of its parent's communications and military systems busineses. In 1981, with a capacity exceeding internal demand, TLSI was made a subsidiary of Telephonics and chartered to serve the merchant custom and standard IC markets. Since its beginnings, over 28 years ago, over 350 custom and standard ICs have been developed for a wide array of applications.
