Through their retail farm and ranch stores, Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), based in Brentwood, TN, supplies daily farm and ranch maintenance needs, livestock, pet, hardware, seasonal products, truck accessories and trailers, clothing and footwear. The company also has lawn and garden power equipment and truck, trailer and towing products. There are about 560 stores in some 30 states. Founded in 1938, the company has revenue of $2.1 billion and employs about 7,200 people. In November 2005 the company acquired the assets of Del's Farm Supply for $17 million and assumed liabilities of $2 million.
