Robert L. Long is Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Transocean Ltd. Prior to being named to his current position in October 2006, he served in various executive-level positions since October 2002. Previously, he was elected Vice President in 1987, Senior Vice President in 1990, Senior Vice President and CFO in 1996, Senior Vice President, Treasurer and CFO in 1997, Executive Vice President, Treasurer and CFO in 2000, President in 2001 and President and Chief Operating Officer in 2002. Mr. Long joined the company in 1976 as Corporate Planning Manager and has held numerous operational and financial roles over his 30-year career, including Division Engineer and Division Manager of the North Sea and Egypt. A 1968 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Mr. Long attended the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power School and in 1975 earned an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business In addition, Mr. Long is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) and serves as IADC's Chairman in 2007. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA).

Steven L. Newman is President and Chief Operating Officer for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to his current position, Mr. Newman served since late 2007 as Executive Vice President of Performance, leading the company’s three business units and focusing on client service delivery and performance improvement across the company’s worldwide fleet. He previously served in senior management roles, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Information Process Solutions, and Treasury, and Vice President of Performance and Technology. He also has served as Regional Manager for the Asia and Australia Region and in international field and operations management positions, including Project Engineer, Rig Manager, Division Manager, Region Marketing Manager and Region Operations Manager. He joined the company in 1994 in the Corporate Planning Department. Mr. Newman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.

Gregory L. Cauthen is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Transocean Ltd. Mr. Cauthen joined the company in March 2001 as Vice President, Finance. He then served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer starting in December 2001 and was named Senior Vice President in July 2002. He was appointed to his current position in July 2003. Prior to assuming his duties with the company, he served in management positions with Arthur Young (now Ernst and Young), First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank) and Service Corporation International (SCI), where he was Senior Vice President and President of SCI Financial Services, Inc. Mr. Cauthen holds a Masters in Accounting degree from the University of Florida, Gainesville.

John Truschinger is Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Transocean Ltd. In this role, he oversees all information technology and communications systems for the company worldwide and provides strategic direction for the company’s information technology assets. He previously served in the same position at GlobalSantaFe Corporation. Mr. Truschinger began his career with Santa Fe in 1981 as a Systems Analyst. He worked in positions of increasing responsibility including his appointment to Director of Information Services in 1999.

Arnaud A.Y. Bobillier is Executive Vice President, Assets, for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to his current position, Mr. Bobillier previously served as Senior Vice President of the company's Europe and Africa Unit (EAU), which covers offshore drilling operations in 15 countries. He began his career with a predecessor company in 1980 and has served in various management positions in several countries, including the United States, France, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Congo, Brazil, South Africa and China. Mr. Bobillier holds an engineering degree in fluid mechanics and thermodynamics from the Ecole Superieure des Techniques de l'Ingenieur de Nancy, France.

Rob Saltiel is Executive Vice President, Performance, for Transocean Ltd. Mr. Saltiel, who joined the company in 2003, previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning. Prior to being named to his current position, Mr. Saltiel served as Senior Vice President of the company’s North and South America Unit, which covers the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Canada, Trinidad and Brazil. Mr. Saltiel previously served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Planning. Prior to joining the company in 2003, Mr. Saltiel served as Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Nabors Industries and began his career as a Process Engineer for ExxonMobil. He later joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant to energy clients in the upstream, downstream and oil services segments. Mr. Saltiel holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Eric B. Brown is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Transocean Ltd. Mr. Brown served as Vice President and General Counsel since February 1995 and Corporate Secretary since September 1995. He was named a Senior Vice President in February 2001. Prior to assuming his duties with the company, Mr. Brown worked at Coastal Gas Marketing Company and served as its General Counsel. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hope College in Michigan and a J.D. degree from Indiana University law school.

Adrian Rose is Vice President, QHSE for Transocean Ltd. From January 2002 to January 2004, Mr. Rose served as the company's North Europe Region Manager. From January 2000 to January 2002, he served as Transocean’s Corporate Director of QHSE. From 1995 to 2000, he served as Vice President and Division Manager in the United Kingdom of two predecessor companies: Transocean Offshore (North Sea) Ltd and Transocean Drilling Ltd. Mr. Rose joined Transocean in 1983, serving in numerous offshore and onshore management positions of increasing responsibility from OIM to Region Manager. Previously, he served as a Midshipman, Deck Officer and finally Master in the British Merchant Navy. Mr. Rose holds a UK – Masters Mariners Certificate of Competency (Class 1) and a Diploma in Safety Management. He is a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, a Director of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and a former Chairman of the British Rig Owners Association.

David A. Tonnel is the Vice President of Global Supply Chain for Transocean Ltd. Prior to assuming this role in November 2008, Mr. Tonnel served in management positions including Vice President of Integration and Process Improvement since 2007, Vice President and Controller since 2005 and Assistant Controller the previous two years. Mr. Tonnel served as Finance Manager, Asia and Australia Region, from 2000 to 2003 and as Controller, Nigeria, from 1999 to 2000. Prior to joining the company in 1996, Mr. Tonnel worked in France as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young. Mr. Tonnel graduated in 1991 from ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris, France, with a Master of Science degree in Management.

Gregory S. Panagos is Vice President of Investor Relations and Communications for Transocean Ltd. Mr. Panagos joined Transocean in June 2007 with 16 years of experience in investor relations. He previously served as Director of Investor Relations and Planning at Noble Energy (NYSE:NBL). Prior to Noble Energy he was Managing Director of Shimmerlik Corporate Communications from 2000 to 2002. He also served in roles of increasing responsibility at Pennzoil Company and Pennzoil-Quaker State Company from 1988 to 2000, including Vice President, Corporate Communications. Mr. Panagos earned an MBA in Finance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Accounting from Claremont McKenna College.

Ian Clark is Vice President of Human Resources for Transocean Ltd. Previously, Mr. Clark served as Manager of the company’s North East Asia Division from July 2006 until December 2006, when he was named to his current position. Mr. Clark joined the company in 2000 as Region HR Manager for Africa and the Middle East following a 20-year career with the Schlumberger group in positions of increasing management responsibility. From 2001 to 2004, he served as District Manager for Nigeria, and from 2004 to July 2006 he was Director of Compensation and Benefits. Mr. Clark earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, and graduated from the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Society of Professional Well Log Analysts and he is an Associate Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers.

John H. Briscoe is Vice President and Controller of Transocean Ltd. Prior to being named to his current position in late 2007, Mr. Briscoe served as Vice President, Audit and Advisory Services since June 2007 and Director of Investor Relations and Communications from January 2007 to June 2007. From June 2005 to January 2007, Mr. Briscoe served as Finance Director for Transocean’s North and South America Unit. Prior to joining the company in June 2005, Mr. Briscoe served as Vice President of Accounting for Ferrellgas Inc., the general partner of Ferrellgas Partners L.P., a New York Stock Exchange traded master limited partnership, from July 2003 to June 2005, Vice President of Administration from June 2002 to July 2003 and Division Controller from June 1997 to June 2002. Prior to working for Ferrellgas, Mr. Briscoe served as Controller for Latin America for Dresser Industries Inc., which has subsequently been acquired by Halliburton, Inc. Mr. Briscoe started his career with seven years in public accounting beginning with the firm of KPMG and ending with Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager. Mr. Briscoe is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Accounting from the University of Texas.

Pharr Smith is Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services for Transocean Ltd. In this role, he oversees the company’s engineering services, marine support, upgrade and major repair project management, and maintenance and field support services. Mr. Smith joined Transocean after a 10-year career at GlobalSantaFe, where he most recently served as Vice President of Technical Operations. He started as Director of Engineering with the company in 1997 and held positions of increasing responsibility until his promotion to Vice President in 2001. Mr. Smith began his career at Avondale Shipyards in New Orleans as a naval architect in the hull design department. He joined Marathon LeTourneau in 1981 where he held various positions including Manager of Engineering in the Brownsville shipyard, Vice President of Engineering in the Houston office, and Vice President of the Marine Group in Longview, Texas, with responsibility for the company’s engineering, parts sales, and offshore service functions. In 1993, he joined Friede & Goldman, Ltd. where he served as Vice President providing design and engineering services to the offshore and commercial shipping industries. Mr. Smith earned his BSE and MSE degrees in Naval Architecture from the University of Michigan.

Patrick Guicheney is Vice President, Asset Management, Jackups, for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to his current position, Mr. Guicheney previously served as Director, Asset Management, for the company’s Asia and Pacific (APU) Business Unit. He began is career with the company in 1982 and has served in various management positions in both technical and operational roles in several countries including Singapore, the United States, France, United Kingdom, Brunei, Oman, Nigeria, Angola and Gabon. Mr. Guicheney holds an engineering degree in mechanics from the Ecole National Superieure des Arts et Métiers, Paris, France.

Paul Tranter is Vice President, Asset Management, Floaters for Transocean Ltd. Before being named in to his current position, Mr. Tranter previously served as Vice President, Performance and Operations. He began his career with the company in 1981 and has served in various management positions in both technical and operational roles in several countries, including the United States, France, United Kingdom, Congo, Nigeria, Spain and Norway. Mr. Tranter holds an engineering degree in Naval Architecture from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom.

Mike Hall is Vice President of Newbuilds for Transocean, a position he has held since January 2008. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of the company’s currently 10 newbuild rigs. Since joining the company in 1978, he held various engineering and project management positions until 1992, and then served as operations manager for South America from 1992 to 1994, Region Manager for North America operations from 1994 to 2001, Director of Planning from 2001 to 2002, Vice President of Operations and Technical Support from 2002 to 2006, and Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services from 2006 to 2008 Mr. Hall is a registered professional engineer in Texas and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. He also attended the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School and the University of Houston’s Bates College of Law.

Ramon Yi is Vice President and Treasurer of Transocean Ltd. Mr. Yi joined the company in December 2008 as Assistant Treasurer – Corporate Finance. He has over 30 years of business experience in a variety of industries. Previously, he served as Treasurer of Ensco International, an offshore drilling contractor, and Corporate Treasurer at Sunrise Medical, a global manufacturer of medical devices. Mr. Yi also has served as Corporate Treasurer for Fresenius Medical Care, Symbios, Inc. and Healthsource, Inc. He also was Vice President for George E. Warren Corporation and Assistant Treasurer for Northeast Petroleum, both in the petroleum trading and marketing industries. Mr. Yi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from Boston University. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Corporate Treasurers and holds the designation of Certified Cash Manager.

Bob Herrin is the Vice President and Controller at GlobalSantaFe. Prior to assuming this role in 2005, Mr. Herrin was Vice President, Internal Audit, a position he had held since 2002. Mr. Herrin joined the audit staff at Global Marine in 1989 where he held positions of increasing authority, including Audit Manager and Director of Internal Audit. Before joining the company, Mr. Herrin spent nine years at Tenneco Oil Company in several accounting and auditing positions.

Simon Crowe is Vice President, Planning and Strategy for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to his current position, Mr. Crowe served as Director, Finance, for the company’s Europe and Africa Unit (EAU), which covers 15 countries. Mr. Crowe joined the company in 2004 as EAU Finance Director. Before joining Transocean, he served in various finance functions with three international energy companies. Mr. Crowe holds a degree in Physics from Liverpool University, United Kingdom. In addition, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the U.K.

Stephen L. Hayes is Vice President, Tax, of Transocean Ltd. Mr. Hayes joined the company in this position in November 2005. Before joining the company, he served as Vice President, Tax, for Unocal Corporation. Mr. Hayes previously served in management positions with Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO). He started his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen. He is a certified public accountant and holds a Masters of Professional Accounting degree (Taxation) from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas, and a Bachelors of Business Administration (Accounting) from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

Terry B. Bonno is Vice President, Marketing, for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to her current position, Ms. Bonno previously served as Director, Marketing North and South America Unit (AMU), which covers the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Canada, Trinidad and Brazil, since March 2005. She brings 26 years of industry experience including 17 years with Global Marine Inc. and Applied Drilling Technology Inc., two subsidiaries of GlobalSantaFe Corporation that were assumed in a 2007 merger with the company, and nine years with Transocean. Ms. Bonno has served in various management positions in accounting, corporate planning and marketing, including Manager Sales and Contracts Turnkey, Manager Asset Sales and Senior Sales Representative North America. She also served in the company’s Europe and Africa Unit (EAU) as Marketing Manager, West Africa South, from 2003 to 2005. Ms. Bonno is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Deepak Munganahalli is Senior Vice President, Asia and Pacific Unit (APU), for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to his current position leading the APU, which covers Egypt, the Arabian Gulf, the Indian sub-continent, Asia, Australasia and the Pacific Rim, including the eastern sea-board of the Russian Federation, Mr. Munganahalli previously served as Manager of the company's India Division, which has grown in recent years from one rig to 13 mobile offshore drilling units. Mr. Munganahalli joined a predecessor company in 1991 and has served in various positions of increasing responsibility, including head of operations in Gabon and Corporate Training Manager in Pau, France. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur and Harvard Business School's General Management Program.

Ricardo H. Rosa is Senior Vice President, Europe and Africa Unit, for Transocean Ltd. Before being named to his current position, Mr. Rosa previously served as Senior Vice President of the company's Asia and Pacific Unit (APU). Previously, he served the company as Vice President and Controller and in a variety of international positions in finance for 19 years with Transocean, a predecessor company and its parent firm. Mr. Rosa graduated from Oxford University in the United Kingdom with a Master of Arts degree and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Ed Muller was appointed Mirant's chairman, president and chief executive officer in 2005. Mirant is a competitive energy company that produces and sells electricity in the United States, the Caribbean, and the Philippines. Mirant owns or leases approximately 17,300 megawatts of electric generating capacity globally. The company operates an integrated asset management and energy marketing organization from its headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kristian Siem is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Siem Industries Inc., an industrial holding company, which includes offshore and onshore oil and gas drilling, and subsea construction services, in Norway and the United States. Mr. Siem also serves on the Boards of Transocean Inc. (USA), DSND Inc. (Oslo), Siem Capital AB (Sweden, Chairman), Subsea7 (Chairman), Star Reefer Inc. (Cayman Islands) and North Atlantic Smaller Companies Trust Plc. A native of Norway, Mr. Siem holds a degree in Business Administration from Oslo Institute of Business Administration. He is married, with four children, and resides in London.

Mr. Monti was Chairman and CEO of YPF from 1997 to 1999, CEO of Maxus Energy between 1995 and 1997, and previously held senior positions with Schlumberger Oil Field Services. Mr. Monti has 42 years in the oil industry. He sits on a number of major energy company boards including Petrobras Energia S.A., John Wood Group PLC, Tenaris and Transocean Inc. He joined Trefoil in November 2000. Mr. Monti is an Argentinean citizen with residence in Le Cannet, France.

Victor Grijalva currently is a Director both of Dynegy, Inc., and Transocean, Inc. He formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Hanover Compressor and Transocean Sedco Forex. Grijalva began his career as a Senior Development Engineer for Schlumberger and during his 37 years with the company he held a variety of management positions in Argentina, France, Venezuela, Singapore, Greece, UAE and the United States. Grijalva was Vice Chairman of Schlumberger Limited and prior to that role, he served as Executive Vice President of Schlumberger's Oilfield Services division and its Wireline, Testing & Anadrill division. Grijalva is a member of the Board of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and Society of Petroleum Engineers, and is a former member of the Board of the American Petroleum Institute and the Oil & Gas Editorial Advisory Board. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in electrical engineering and the University of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in electrical engineering.
