As Director of Operations and Compliance, John McNamara manages TRUSTe's day-to-day operations, including certification for all of the TRUSTe programs, consumer dispute resolution, trademark enforcement and sealholder compliance with TRUSTe program requirements. Since joining TRUSTe in 2003, John has increased the transparency and objectivity of TRUSTe's privacy auditing functions. John also developed a number of compliance tools to rate severity and frequency of consumer disputes against TRUSTe member sites. Prior to TRUSTe, John was the Director of Consulting for Vintara, focusing on ISO and Six Sigma consulting.

Martha Landesberg is TRUSTe's Director of Policy and Counsel. She has been on the TRUSTe staff since April 2003. Prior to joining TRUSTe, Martha was Of Counsel to the law firm of Dorsey and Whitney, LLP, where she advised multi-national clients on U.S. and international data protection issues and assisted them as they developed corporate privacy policies. She was a Senior Attorney in the Federal Trade Commission's Division of Financial Practices for six years, during which she led the staff team that conducted the Commission's 1998 and 2000 surveys of commercial Web sites' information practices, and was a leader of the team that drafted the Commission's Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule issued under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. Martha holds a B.A. from Yale University, a Master's Degree in Education from Stanford University, and a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Ralph Terkowitz joined ABS Capital Partners in January 2004 as a General Partner and is responsible for investments in companies within the media & communication and technology sectors. Terkowitz represents ABS Capital on the boards of American Public Education, Inc., eFashionSolutions, LLC, Vibrant Media, Inc. and WhenU.com, Inc. He is also an observer on the board of Course Advisor, Inc. Previously serving as CIO/CTO of the Washington Post Company, Terkowitz brings more than 30 years of operating, financial and technical experience to ABS Capital. Terkowitz served as founder and CEO of its electronic publishing subsidiary, WashingtonPost.Newsweek Interactive (formerly DigitalInk). Also for the Washington Post, Terkowitz was also the CEO of Brass Ring for the Washington Post, one of the first business services providers. Brass Ring has grown to be one of the two largest outsourced recruiting platforms. Terkowitz serves on the board of TRUSTe and eCornell. In addition to his ABS Capital duties, he is a member of the board of advisors of the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University, the Indian CEO High Tech Council, the Cornell University Council and the Newspaper Association of America's Business Committee on Industry Development.
